Hey Alisyn,

On Wednesday’s show, they were talking about a mapping application that was more detailed than Google Earth. I caught the teaser and then I caught them (Judge and Gretchen) just as they were ending the segment, and I missed the name of the site. Can you find it out and post it, please?

A really nice addition to the daily blog would be a listing of any online sites or links to those mentioned on the show. Even a ‘friends site of the day’ would be cool. You should mention it in one of the staff meetings. Present it as your idea – I’ll back you up =]

Thanks,

Dave

Ok, I’m going to mix it up a little. I’d go with Tennessee, San Diego (Indy’s defense isn’t that great and the Chargers have Tomlinson) , Arizona (Warner is red hot right now) and New England.

Good Morning,

I see aly was stood up by a football player this week! No, not Boomer, T.O.!

That being said, i’ll hold up on picking any teams, because i’d feel sad if she were to choose my teams and they all lost. Besides, i haven’t a clue.

Have a wonderful Thursday!!

Here’s who I would pick.

Tennessee
Indy
Giants
New England

By the way, the TO video was great!

Good luck!!

We love ya Ali! Hope you can move into first place ahead of those gomers you work with. They deserve to beaten by a girl!

Tennessee is going to lose eventually, and it could possibly be the Jets. Favre has looked better each week, as though he is starting to develop chemistry with the rest of the Jets offense. I’m taking NY.

Indy is coming on strong. They will beat the Chargers. LT has become a non-factor. His 15 mins of fame are up.

The high powered Arizona offense is not quite enough power to get past the defending Super Bowl champs, and their outstanding defense. Giants will beat the Cards.

And my upset pick of the week, is Big Bill Parcells’ Miami Dolphins edging Little Bill Belichek’s Pats. Without Brady, the Patriots are an average team. The Dolphins are rebuilding, are young, and have the ace in the hole, Ronnie Brown. They beat the Patriots this week.

Good luck, babe!

Cleveland Browns quarterback Brady Quinn broke his right index finger in the first half of Monday night’s win over Buffalo, but will try to play Sunday against the Houston Texans.

The team initially thought Quinn only bruised his hand after banging it on the helmet of a Bills player. But after he complained of soreness following Wednesday’s practice, X-rays were taken and revealed a fracture on the tip of his finger.

Quinn was cleared to play by a specialist at the Cleveland Clinic.

The Cincinnati Bengals failed to explain why Chad Ocho Cinco, the wide receiver formerly known as Chad Johnson, was held out for violating team rules during their 27-10 loss in Pittsburgh on Thursday night.

The decision to bench Ocho Cinco was announced about 10 hours before kickoff and the Bengals said they would give more details after the game, but coach Marvin Lewis declined to discuss it.

Ms. Alisyn,

I see I’m not alone here. Every streak runs until it’s over. There has only been 2 perfect seasons in football history, time for this run to end.

NY Jets

Indianapolis

NY Giants

Miami

Now lets take first place this week. ;)

Chas,

You’re thinking outside the box with your Jets pick!
I like that, but I dunno…

What makes you believe it was a guy?

Comment by chas

Not wanting to give anything away A.M., I happen to know who picks the games, or the two I should say. ;)

And both are guys.

I took the Jets for 2 reasons. 1. Perfect seasons are too rare to count. 2. As much as the Titans seem to find a way to win, no one in the NFL has been better at finding a way to win than Favre. He has something like 45 come from behind and/or OT wins, more than anyone ever.

Didn’t Barack Obama do that on top of Michelle?…. and she was doing the pushups with one arm.

Comment by GeronimoRex

As much as I hate to agree completely with anyone…I think Chas is right on the money about all his picks including the Jets. I think he is a ringer.

Comment by chas

Come on Slim. What could that have to do with the Jets beating the Titans?

Besides, I’d like to keep my dinner where I put it.

That was truly unnecessary.

The NFL confirmed Friday that suspended cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones can join the Dallas Cowboys on Monday and that he can play again Dec. 7 against Pittsburgh — but only if he stays on his best behavior.

Commissioner Roger Goodell issued a brief statement Friday confirming the details of Jones’ return, noting that it can only happen “if he avoids any further incidents and fully complies with each and every condition that has been established for him.”

Ocho Cinco was benched because he was late for a team meeting. Arizona will upset the Giants.

Comment by Eric the Greek

Barrack doesn’t weigh too much, so that helped Michele be able to do 1 arm push-ups with him on her back.

The Tennessee Titans are unbeaten no more. Brett Favre and the New York Jets served notice they will be a factor in the AFC this season.

Favre threw two touchdown passes, Leon Washington ran for two scores and the Jets routed the Titans 34-13 on Sunday, snapping the 13-game regular-season winning streak by the NFL’s last undefeated team.

The Jets (8-3) came in atop the AFC East after a victory over New England at Foxborough. They have won five straight for the first time since October 2004 and seven of their last eight. The win also pulled them within two of Tennessee (10-1) with five to play in the race for home-field advantage through the playoffs.

The Titans hadn’t lost since Dec. 16, 2007, in becoming only the 11th team since 1970 to win its first 10 games.

Alisyn;
Witnessed the workout in the gym and was wondering how much would it be for one of those FOX NEWS jackets and if I could afford it how much it would be and where I would have to send for it if I really could buy one? Are they just for the FOX NEWS types? Watch the after the show every day and please do not take this wrong but you,Gretchen and the other gals including Dominica Davis are the most attractive women I have ever seen on TV. I am a 2 tour Vietnam Vet with tours also in Guam ,Korea and Thailand and very happy with the fair and balanced reports on FOX which we watch all the time. Thank you very much for your fair reporting from a small city named Plattsburgh, NY about 60 miles north of Albany and 60 miles south of Montreal, PQ. Theres a little joke that goes around here that there is no life beyond Albany and people in the big apple or NY City doen’t even know we are here. Thank you for your attention to this e-mail.
