Alisyn,
I wish you had not picked Dallas over Washington—-that is the only mistake I’ve ever seen you make. Good luck on all your other picks; I hope you get the rest 100%.
Take care,
Kent

Instead of picking teams based on my “expertise”, I flipped a coin with the following results:Redskins, Ravens, Steelers, and Falcons for winners. The coin must have an eastern bias. If this results in four wins, I’ll give up handicaping football games.

PS: Alisyn, can you tell me what happened to Linda Vester? I have wondered about her several times since she left the air.
Thanks,
Kent

I can’t believe that Rick is with me on Washington. He may go 4-0 this week.

So sorry Ms. Alisyn.

Dan Carpenter nailed a 38-yard field goal with 38 seconds left to cap a 61-yard drive, and the Dolphins earned their fourth consecutive victory Sunday by beating woeful Oakland 17-15.

The Dolphins have been good closers all season, outscoring opponents 59-39 in fourth quarter.

Johnnie Lee Higgins scored on a 93-yard punt with 4:30 left to give the Raiders their first lead, but Miami shook off the stunning score. Chad Pennington moved the Dolphins down the field in 10 plays, completing a 7-yard pass on fourth-and-5 to Ted Ginn Jr. to keep the drive alive.

With the win, the Dolphins (6-4) set up a showdown at home next Sunday against AFC East rival New England. Both teams trail the division-leading New York Jets by one game.

I like your pick of the Cowboys. They should be better with Romo.
Just watched the ATSS from Sunday morning.Alisyn I have never seen you look better than you do in that red leather skirt and tan top.

Here are the results thus far:

Allisyn—2-1

Clayton—1-2

Dallas is next. I think Washington. Only Rick has chosen Washington.

Final results and standings in the morning.

Have a great night.

Tony Romo celebrated the go-ahead touchdown pass by bouncing up and down like a little kid and patting teammates on the back with his left hand, carefully avoiding any further damage to his heavily wrapped right pinkie.

A few minutes later, Terence Newman celebrated a fourth-down stop by running around with both arms outstretched, like a child imitating an airplane.

Romo and Newman were back Sunday night, and so are the Dallas Cowboys, who put themselves firmly back into the NFC playoff race with a 14-10 victory over the Washington Redskins.

Donovan McNabb’s team tied the Cincinnati Bengals yesterday, an outcome which came as a complete surprise to the 10-year NFL veteran:

What did … I mean … how can … wow. That’s it, wow. He didn’t know that games could end in a tie. You know who knows that games can end in ties? Everyone. Even Tony Siragusa knows that. Yet a quarterback who has led his team to four NFC Championship Games and one Super Bowl didn’t know. I mean, it’s not like the referee says it before every overtime session! (And to those who think he’s joking, he’s not. Donovan laughs at his own jokes more than Jon Stewart; his demeanor was far too serious for that to be a joke, despite what his inevitable excuse is today.)

Chas,

Dallas kept handing the game to Wash., but they refused to accept it.

Alisyn moved up one on Rick and Clayton, and now holds second place all to herself.

Dave went 4 – 0 – But much to his chagrin, he’s still bringing up the rear..The past two weeks he’s gone 8-0 – We’ll have to keep an eye on that one.

I went 2-2 in those picks So we both wind up at 500 for the week

The Arizona Cardinals declined to consider releasing Edgerrin James when the running back’s agent inquired about the possibility, the team’s general manager said Wednesday.

Rod Graves said he received a call from agent Drew Rosenhaus three weeks ago after James was benched in favor of rookie Tim Hightower and didn’t play a down in Arizona’s 34-13 victory at St. Louis.

According to Graves, Rosenhaus asked if the team would consider releasing James “and we declined it as a consideration.”
