NFL PICKS FOR WEEK 7!
Thanks for all the help this week with these picks…as the season progresses I get more and more confused…with that said, I’ll be going to back you guys every week for advice…for this week…because of the BREAKING NEWS…we couldn’t get to this week’s picks…so here they are..take a look and tell me what you think!

Instead of playing fake football with those two effeminate Twinkies you sit next to on weekends, get a COLIN POWELL thread started!
Hey Ms. Alisyn,
3 of 4 are good picks…lol I think the pack will win at home with only a 1.5 point spread. But we’ll see tonight.
Joe looked good today, he conducted his self very well.
Would have been nice to hear if he wished he kept his mouth shut, but I understand time constraints.
Have a great week.

I don’t think Alisyn likes to get in the middle of a political debate. Maybe she should resurrect the celebrity recipes. I think the first time I ever read this blog was to check out a meatball recipe. lol
It is rather testy on the plumber blog, isn’t it?…lol
chas
The plumber blog is a little frustrating. It is amazing how loud one or two voices can be when trying to drown out the sound of reality.
People are just chanting change and not even bothering to look into the facts. I guess it is just easier to blame everything on one guy in the White House versus seeking out the truth in 100’s of Senators and Representatives.
Most people don’t understand the Constitution and know where the real power is.
People think that the President has the power. Of course some 50% of the people think that the Government makes it’s own revenue. And they think a tax refund is something other than their own money being returned after the Government using it for free for a year.

A fan of Alisyn C. ,

Where’s the outrage people? Journalism is dead.

Does anyone recall the third debate? It was John McCain that first referenced Joe the Plumber. If anyone is to point toward a candidate for exploitation, I think the fingers should lean toward the Arizona senator.
Alysin. All I know is I Love you…LOL would you marry me!!LOL…

A question has been bothering me for over a year.
Which of these scenarios is better:
1] We withdraw from Iraq. Iran takes over at least southern Iraq. Iran attacks Israel.
2] We withdraw as quickly as possible from Iraq but remain on good terms with Iraq. Would Iran be slower to attack Israel?
Witty,
1. Even Obama has said that he would not allow Iran to move into Iraq. Of course he also said he was going to use Public Funding and went back on that promise.
2. In or out, friends or not, we at best will provide air support with Isreal to attack Iran.
The far better case is finish the job in Iraq, which should allow a small force of troops to stay and provide a reason for Iran to not attack anyone.
That is what Obama calls the hundred year war by McCain.
So the 2 you offer are troublesome at best, number 3 does however cost much less and faster response in case Iran gets real stupid.
chas
BTW, I’ve updated my blog today on the Powell backing Obama.
“Rebellion to Tyranny is Obedience to God”
The New England Patriots finally dominated the way they did when Tom Brady was playing. Matt Cassel threw three touchdown passes in his best game since taking over for the injured quarterback, Sammy Morris rushed for 138 yards and New England routed the Denver Broncos 41-7 Monday night.
Chas, Tell me if this is right. A free Iraq reduces the chances of Iran attacking Israel?
Has Obama said that he would support Israel?
Did I hear correctly that Obama wants to withdraw from Iraq? Didn’t he say that he was going to save lots of money by withdrawing from Iraq?
Once we are gone, how exactly could Obama keep Iran from moving into Iraq? Would there be considerable bloodshed?
Bill O’Reilly has signed up for another tour of duty at Fox News, saying that he decided “to put myself through all the attacks and smears” for several more years.
The pugnacious pundit said that he signed the contract despite what he sees as a constant assault on his reputation. “I couldn’t care less whether the establishment media respect me,” he said yesterday in an interview. “I feel they’re corrupt. They, I’m sure, resent me feeling that way.”
Fox News Channel extended its run in the top two cable news channels to five weeks, placing 2nd last week in Total Viewers during prime time (Live+SD) with an average of 3,296,000.
In total Day, FNC was 4th (1,481,000).

Witty,
The more free States that are in operation reduces the chances that Iran will attack Israel. But specifically Iran because of the limits of Irans long range firepower. Were Iran to gain foothold in Iraq, it moves them that much closer within the accurate range of their low tech missles.
Depends on how you read his double talk. He claims he does, but also back Hamas and many of the Palistinian claims on lands they never owned, that would endanger Israel’s security.
Again, depends on how you read his double speak. He seems to come down on the issue in 3 landing spots, or maybe 4. So far I have heard, 1. ALL Troops out in 16 or 18 months. 2. All COMBAT Troops out in 16/18 months. 3. All troops withdraw unless there is an upsurge of violence during the withdraw. And yes he claims he will be using the savings from Iraq for fixing other things. Trouble with that is the numbers will not add up since much of the cost in Iraq will continued to be paid out because the money for soliders and equipment is always being spent. Plus he plans to pick up the slack caused by the rest of NATO in the Afgan War, because Euroweenies don’t like to fight, (except the Brits ).
As I pointed out in the first response, a contingent of troops would be left by McCain once over, Obama says he will send troops back if such an event occured. Of course it is a large expense to operate that way, but that is his plan. This also, of course, lets Iran dig in while we amass troops again, and then we have to start all over again weeding these idiots out of their rat holes. Having been trained in urban warfare I can tell you this is not fun and in fact one of the most dangerous aspects of any campaign.
Sorry for typos and mis-spellings, it is way too early in the AM for this kind of stuff…lol
chas
I KNOW THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE NFL. BUT, WHAT IS WITH THAT NEW WOOSHING NOISE WHEN THERE IS A NEW STORY? IT IS SO DARN ANNOYING, IS IT REALLY NECESSARY. THERE IS ENOUGH STUFF GOING ON THE SCREEN, DO WE REALLY NEED THIS TOO?
You need to take a different tack on some of these picks. Neptune is in the House of Scorpio this coming Sunday and with most of the Bills being Leos…..well….you get my drift. I’d think about that pick. San Diego was founded in April and that rising Neptune will make Ares much stronger. I’d go with the Chargers over the Bills.
The rest sound like good picks.
Some posts I would like to comment on:
How far back did ACORN start stealing the election? Did they toss Hillary out of the fight?
Why does Biden get a pass by the press? (except FOX of course)
Why are there so many shills that get on the political blogs?—-seriously, it has ruined blogging

Like your picks except I think the Chargers may win. RE the World Series: I think in true Phildelphia fashion the Phillies will win three in a row then lose the next four. Don’t get me wrong, I’m routing hard for the Phillies, but I know Philadelphia past. Lived in Philly for 6 years and love the town and the teams, but I’ve been disappointed before.
The highly-rated two-hour FNC weekend specials, hosted by Neil Cavuto, continue tomorrow, from 10-NoonET. The special, “Fox News Special Business Report: Stock Shock,” focuses on the economic turmoil this week.
On October 19, 2008 Dr. Rosenbloom talked abouut tablets that could be taken to block digestion of fats and produce excellent weight loss. He also reported that it has proven safe for at least 2 years. I have an acquaintance who would urgently like to try this medication. Unfortunately I missed the name of the medicine. Could you help me? Many Thanks, Bill Hart
