When are we going to start using “common sense” in this Country? We are giving money to Companies who can’t manage it. Why not give every America, who paid taxes in 2007, a $100,000 rebate check. Then have the Companies owed money on mortgages send in a government request and if the person who owes the money has a rebate coming back send that $100,000 to that Company. Those of use the pay our bills would then in turn use our $100,000 to stimulate all Markets. We would pay bills, invest back in the stock market, buy retail goods from “Main Street” businesses, etc. This would put money back in the pockets of these “Belly-up” Companies and stimulate buying. Then the Companies who hold mortgages can either give people decent interest rates to re-cope the additional mortgage owed, or just foreclose on them.

This would cost the Taxpayers a lot less and put money back into all aspects of our Capitalistic Society.

I have been thinking all along that the Obama camp knows that getting McCain’s rallies to be too negatively charged, that it will turn off most voters and possibly fire up those still sitting on the fence to vote for Obama, just in principles. I am concerned that there are Obama folks in McCain’s rallies that are doing this. I was also concerned about the gentleman telling McCain to “go get” Obama in the debate. Did I miss his appearance on the show? I want to know more about him–is he really a McCain supporter or is he setting up McCain?

Here is what I see as the truth: Many Americans are questioning Obamas loyalty to this country and his character. McCain does not and should not need to defend him. I just watched the pathetic performance of Ms. Camerota attempting to conduct an interview with Scott Levenson and John Fund.

Mr. Levenson ran his big mouth and completely dominated that interview while Ms. Camerota allowed him to do it. He not only turned me off to his explanation but more importantly, showed the poor interviewing skills of Ms. Camerota. I won’t bother watching this program in the future.

What exactly was the “Abuse of power” that Palin is accused of? If someone has a history of insubordination and does not implement your agenda, you fire them!

The rude manner in which the ACORN rep. conducted himself only served to confirm the potential for dishonesty that likely flows throughout the organization.

To us, the ACORN representative was arrogant, which is representative of the manner in which the organization conducts business. Their view of “freedom of speech” only applies to those who share their particular views.

This interview needed a much firmer hand at the helm. But having said that, the interview was probably more “telling” because of the lack of control…

As a former Police officer and having conducted interviews (they’re not call interogations anymore) all I can say is that the more a guy talks the guiltier he is… The ACORN guy is the kind of suspect that after reading him his rights you would have to tell him to shut up because he wouldn’t stop talking.

Please, Please, Please……take control of the interviews with guests. Your recent interview with Scott and John this morning was frustrating to try and listen to. In the future, I think FOX should silence microphones when the other side is talking. The yelling and screaming needs to stop somewhere so why not at FOX?.

Voter Registration does NOT have any affect on the electoral college. Each state has a number of electors equal to the number of its Senators and Representatives in the United States Congress. Most states throw all of the electors to the candidate who received the most VOTES in their state.

The issue with bogus voter registration, though, is that there is a possibility, indeed a likelihood, for a vote to be cast for each BOGUS voter registration–some states don’t even demand to see any ID when you vote–thus padding the # of votes which will in turn that state’s electors toward the candidate with the most votes.

The just completed interview by Alisyn Camerota on the Acorn vote fraud was completely unbearable. Her inability to control the Acorn guest was intolerable. As viewers, we longed to hear the author of “Stealing Votes” speak, but Alisyn just couldn’t, and was not in control of the Acorn guest. Please give her more training to do her job better. This was a message that needed to be heard, and unprofessionalism prevented it, not to mention the President’s address interrupting. Please, we demand to know the truth. If your anchors don’t make it happen, why should we watch your channel? Really bad job.

I live in PA and I was surprised here in PA that before the primary how many people registered to vote in the Democratic party. There were record numbers. At the time, they said people that registered did NOT want Obama to win, they wanted Hillary. Hillary won the State by record numbers. Now I am questioning, whether or not ACORN had their dirty hands in our State for the Primary.

I can tell you one thing, the polling in this State are not correct. I am active in the Republican party and I have NEVER been polled. Obama is popular in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia but not in the heart of PA. Rendall is the biggest crook we have ever had for a Gov. so I can tell you that people that voted this guy in are regretting their vote, twice. People are not happy in this State with all the unemployment, wanting to toll I-80, voting themselves pay raises in the middle of the night so no one would find out. We all took names for the upcoming elections.

The polls are wrong for PA.

I would like to comment about the interview with the head of Acorn. That was one of the worst interviews I have ever seen. The Acorn person was allowed to manhandle not only the intervewer but the people who control the microphones. Re Acorn -If I desire to hear an interview(??? not sure that was an interview) where the liberals dominate the conversation, i will turn FOX off and go to NBC. What does concern me, however ; is how did we allow someone to become a canidate who doesn’t think enough of this country to salute our American flag, or refuses to place his hand on the Bible to be sworn in as a canidate??? Alisyn’s interview this morning with John & Scott (ACORN) was completely biased.
An interviewer is supposed to be in control. She was not. Scott was continually allowed to rudely interrupt, and John was not able to complete a sentence – even during “closing statements”.

I’ve watched Fox News for years thinking it was the last bastion for both sides of an issue. In the last couple of weeks, you’ve joined the mainstream media. Thanks for ruining my last hope.

Alisyn, I was shocked and disappointed in your inability to control the interview between the Acorn representative Scott, while John was attempting to discuss his point of view regarding illegal voter registration.

I’m a very loyal viewer of Fox and Friends but this interview has made me loose some faith in Fox and Friends.

If your incapable of controlling an out of control Acorn representative, Scott, then you shouldn’t have been allowed to hold this interview.

Fox should put people who are capable to conduct interviews with the skills and strength that will not allow this to happen in an interview.

I was shocked that you couldn’t get this Acorn rep to remain quiet while John spoke and allowed him to breath heavy, make comments and make weird noises while John tried to speak.

What a releif to see you!! We love Ken Blackwell, here in Ohio. Unfortunately he is not our governor! The analogy with Wallmart was stupid. Wallmart is a private compnay, not recieving tax money. Neither is their mission to register voters. ACORN is running a shody program, and is just having a hard time admitting it. Why should tax dollars go to this organization, when corruption is rampant? Why can’t they just stand on their own? I think their mission is to cause chaos, and that is exactly what is happening…so they have been, and continue to be, successful. I’m presently a medical officer in the US Army, I spent a year in Baghdad last year, and I can tell you the professionals of the National Guard are tired of multiple deployments. Many doctors have lost their practices and are getting out of the Army. I guess my point is all branches of our military system want to hear a real exit strategy. The American public wants to hear from John McCain that we are getting out of Baghdad, not how successful we are now because violence is decreased. When I was in Iraq I couldn’t believe the number of contractors there working and rebuilding their country. We are pouring millions of American dollars into a country that hates us, its unbelievable.

We definitely need to keep fighting the terrorist but not the way we are presently doing it. We could win the war on terrorism with far less resources and save billions of dollars. I have a lot more to say but I won’t bore you any longer. Have a great day

How can the segment with the Acorn spokesman be called a debate? He was completely rude and childish. The other participant was never allowed to finish a complete thought because of his constant interruptions. However, he would chastise his opponent for making a feeble attempt at breaking into his turn at speaking. If I’m not mistaken, the Acorn spokesman was in the Fox studio which should have made it easier to control this rude boorish person. What if a foreigner, a married man of 25 with a pregnant wife gets a scholarship to go to an American University. He deserts his wife, meets and has sex with a 17 year old girl. She becomes pregnant and has a child. The married man leaves to enter another school 5 thousand miles away, leaving the parents of the 17 year old to care for the young child. This married man then has more children with his wife and 2 other woman.

This child grows up and writes a book, “Dreams from my Father”, has nothing but praise for his fathers actions, virtues and accomplishments. Praise for the father, brief mention of his mother, grandparents or his step father who raised him, sent him to the finest schools.
I can understand the difficulty of Obama’s situation, but to praise a polygamist and in this day and age, a 25 year old has sex with a 17 year old…..not worthy of praise.

Please, if you are going to have someone on and you know what that person is capable of, be prepared to control your interview. You should have told him what kind of guest he was and shamed him in front of your television office. His clicking and other noises was childlike! I feel very sorry for Mr. Fund who tried to speak and was shut down. If I was him, I would tell you I will not be back for your interviews!

If you lost control of a guest, you have also lost your credibility as an interviewer!

Even though I am very scared of Obama being President, I have to wonder if McCain is really serious about being President. I want to see some fight. Being in Notre Dame country, I want to see some Knute Rockne pre-game speeches. I set my morning alarm clock to watch every Fox & Friends show and 99.99% of the time I absolutely love what you guys do especially Alisyn on the weekends and Brian and Steve during the week. However, I just watched the interview Alisyn tried to conduct with Scott, Spokesman for Acorn, and John Fund. I have seen John on many occasions detailing Acorn’s involvement of voter fraud on Fox. John has been very detailed and thorough in his reporting and should be given more respect then Alisyn gave him during this interview. I am so disgusted with how Alisyn let Scott speak over John every time John was “allowed” to speak and give his point. I was yelling at the TV to tell Alisyn to shut that idiot Acorn spokesman up and give John the chance to rebuttal the ridiculous garbage Scott was saying. That was the worst interview I have ever seen and Alisyn Camerota should never be given an assignment this important ever again. People need to hear both sides of the story and Alisyn went out of her way to be fair and balanced and came out being extremely unfair to John Fund. I may never watch Fox & Friends again when Alisyn is on. She needs to go back to journalism school!

Alisyn TOTALLY blew the interview with the ACORN rep and the guy that was countering his views/statements. The piece was so poorly handled that I can’t even remember the name of the speaker that was on the remote camera location! That’s probably what the ACORN guy wanted. He was successful.

I think you owe it to the other guy to bring him into the studio and let him speak his piece. You obviously invited him to speak but then let the hoodlum from ACORN commandeer the interview. That was not only rude to the other guy but quite rude to the American people that really want to hear what he has to say. Scott Levenson’s performance during the interview convinced me of the corruption of ACORN. As their national spokesman, his frantic efforts to prevent any debate about ACORN’s voter fraud efforts is evidence of ACORN’s culpability.

If I were in charge of the McCain campaign I would open every event with the tape of Rev. Farragut’s message to his audience ….Barack is the messiah…or a timeline and papertrail of his connection to ACORN ….And the fact that he could not hire himself if he should become president because he would not pass the background check

I wouldn’t sign anything just to get someone off of my porch. I would slam the door in their face. If that doesn’t work, call the police and have them escorted off your property. We don’t live in a socialist state yet. FYI, these are the same tactics ACORN used on banks and the officers of banks to force the subprime mortgages which has caused our current economic crisis. It is a pattern of behavior.

In this interview Scott from ACORN tried to use the same intimidation techniques to shut down both Alisyn and John Fund. Evidently he didn’t want Fund to talk about the $800,000 paid to ACORN to get out the vote. He didn’t want John to talk about all the voter fraud, which has already been found, in many states, or that this has been happening over the last several years. He was proud of the over 1 million new registered voters, but didn’t want to talk about how many of those are “legally” registered and voted only once.

If these socialist organizations see that Fox News has a weakness on the weekends, they will use that to their advantage. This could negate any good investigative interviews done during the week. I do not think we need to give them a platform to spew their venom. There are enough other channels for that.

It takes a lot to be truly “fair and balanced”. The other news networks can’t, or won’t, do it. This is what makes Fox News unique.

After living in an ACORN Village for years, I realize there is more good that this organization gives back to America than bad. This is not a “hanging chad” issue, since that had more to do with the actual votes being stolen. I have a new admiration for John McCain for taking the high road by not falling into name calling when urged to do so by his supporters. Those who truly support McCain are probably proud of his actions also. In fact, anyone who strives to live a moral and decent life surely must admire this quality, no matter which candidate they support.

I am a little disappointed in the Republicans as well with their inability to exploit Obama throughout this campaign. So many issues….Iraq?…Doesn’t Obama say he is going to pay for most of his entitlements by ending the war?…He said initially he was pulling the troops out in 16 months…why is not ever called on the carpet for this anymore?…He has changed his stance on this issue totally. The Republicans have done a horrible job exploiting Democrats for their failure in the sub-prime mortgage mess. Frank, Dodd, Pelosi and Reid should all be exploited. I am sorry, the Ayers connection, Rev. Wright, Acorn…all important issues that go to character and to be the President of the United States…you must have CHARACTER!!!

Thank God for Fox News as an outlet for people that think the way we do. From time to time I will flip to the other unwatched channels to see how the other half lives, and to put it mildly, I am thoroughly disgusted at the view points of what these people who call themselves journalists spew.

Regardless of whether Fox wants to have an Acorn represenative on the show and hear what he/she has to say – if you’re going to have an additional guest that is representing an opposing view, then you need to provide that guest an unhinderd opportunity to respond. Fox has an obligation to allow both sides to speak and share their views. Afterall your news network is serving the public. As a part of the public I was angered that the Acorn represenative did not allow the author of “Stealing Elections” to provide a rebutle. He continually interrupted the author and made noises akin to a disappointed grade school teacher. I am frustrated that this was allowed to happen. If you don’t want to cut the gentleman’s mic then I suggest you ask him to leave the set and allow the other guest to continue. There are many different and acceptable courses of action available to Fox in this situation. Please be more vigilant so that we all may have a chance to hear and undestand BOTH sides.

I would add that Fox News is the most balanced reporting agency I have ever seen. This is why I was so disappointed with this interview. When you set the bar that high, you will find yourself being critisized – despite my appreciation of you all at Fox News.

Voter Fraud. I live in a small township in Michigan where I township Clerk was so worried about losing her job she went out and went to voters homes to register them and then had her “friends” hand carry ballots to voters and “help” them vote. This is in the hands of the Prosecuting Attorney in Manistee County, MI. I would never have believe in our area but, determination to get someone in office is more overwhelming than the ethics.

I think it has become very clear that Fox and Friends Weekend has run its course. What was once a nice morning interlude on the weekends has become an embarrassment over the past eighteen months. The hosts are ill informed on many issues, can’t conduct an interview properly and fail to connect with the audience. The two guys continually try to make the show about themselves and are under the false impression that they are funny. It comes off more than a bit childish. No wonder why some of the premier interviews that other news organizations land would not be caught dead on Fox and Friends Weekend. I can only imagine how many of Fox’s best correspondents and reporters, like Wendell Goler, feel when scheduled to do a standup on the program and is forced to interact with the “talent”. The jounalistic quality of a growing number of Fox on air personnel has fallen to a level which is begginning to hurt the credibility of the overall network. This has nothing to do with political persuasions………it is all about business.

Acorn always blames the workers at the bottom of the group with wrong doing. Why doesn’t anyone ask about the brother of the founder of Acorn embezzeling a million dollars from their coffers which was handling “internally”. He was supposed to pay back 30,000 a year and as of Aug 08 he’d only paid a quarter of it. Someone quietly came in to pay the rest. Was this a bogus news story being circulated on the web? With all we are learning, you have every right to have HUGH QUESTIONS AND DOUBT THAT THOSE PRIMARIES WERE ACCURATE! I live in Virginia and you have to show a picture ID to vote–perhaps those of you in states that do not require PHOTO ID’s should go after your state legislative bodies to get photo ID’s before you can vote! THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO ELIMINATE VOTER FRAUD! In many places where photo ID’s tried to be made A MUST TO VOTE have been stopped by the DEMOCRATS CLAIMING IT WOULD CAUSE A HARDSHIP!

IT IS UP TO YOU TO DEMAND THAT OUR ELECTIONS BE LEGAL AND THE ONLY WAY TO DO SO IS TO HAVE A STATE ID SUCH AS A DRIVER’S LICENSE OR A STATE ID WHICH CAN BE OBTAINED AT MOST DRIVER LICENSE BUREAU!

AS VOTERS WHO CARE ABOUT OUR DEMOCRACY, WE MUST STAND UP TO FIGHT FOR LEGAL ELECTIONS AND LAWS ARE THE ONLY WAY!

So if the DEMS are registering a guy 72 times, are the pollsters calling him 72 times as well? That would put Obama up by double digits in swing states wouldn’t it?

What John McCain MUST do….

1. McCain needs to discuss Obama’s connection
to ACORN. Obama was a trainer and an attorney
for ACORN. He spoke at their conference. McCain
needs to reveal Alinsky’s philosophy about
community organizing and the middle class.
Alinsky believed in moral relativism and that the “the ends justify
the means.” You say and do whatever it takes to acquire power.
Alinsky advises the organizer to target the middle class, rather
than the poor: “Organization for action will now and in the decade
ahead center upon America’s white middle class. That is where the
power is.” Obama invokes the middle class constantly… as
Alinsky advises. McCain needs to indicate how ACORN intimidated
banks to hand out subprimes.

2. McCain needs to show how Obama promised tax breaks for the
middle class in 2004… he never delivered them after being elected.

3. McCain needs to explain how Obama’s 90% middle class tax cut
is a falsehood. He plans on giving a few tax credits and allowing
the Bush tax cuts to expire…which actually raises taxes.

4. McCain needs to be Elliot Ness and needs to name names at
the debate in regard to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac…
Frank, Dodd, etc.

5. McCain needs to question Obama’s relationship with Odinga,
al-Monsour, and Ayers. Why did Obama ask al-Monsour…a racist…
to get Percy Sutton to write him a letter of recommendation to
Harvard.

6. McCain must explain how Obama’s tax hikes will cause a possible
Depression…. tell the audience about the 100 Economists.

I think that since Scott Levenson even made noises while others were speaking his microphone should have been cut. Levenson is the grown up version of the kid in class who talks and makes noises while the teacher is speaking. He is a self-centered, uncaring ACORN spokesman who is probably very bitter. He certainly is not a FOX fan, since he is no longer part of the FOX team, right?

Economy is in the toilet. McCain stops his campaigning to help but does nothing. And now what? Where is his economic plan? More bailout $? I don’t think Ron Paul is such a bad idea.

The Odinga story absolutely needs to be aired. What happened to Frank Corsi? He was detained in Kenya, prohibited from giving his press conference and escorted by government officials to his scheduled flight to London. I saw two emails on worldnet and a bit on Fox, then nothing. Fox should interview him in person — and get that picture of Obama posing in Kenya with Odinga. Was he a sitting U.S. senator then? I think influencing an election in another country on behalf of a kinsman should be newsworthy. And all the facts on his father’s extreme plan for Kenya should be included. Obama’s father’s tribe certainly has an agenda.

If McCain doesn’t ramp up the energy and the message, I will start to believe that he is a shill and that this entire election is play-acting. Dems voting in GOP primaries is how we ended up with McCain in the first place.

Wade Rathke founded ACORN.

Obama himself taught workshops on the Alinsky method as a community organizer for ACORN.

You did not understand why Acorn would try to register people many times. Massive fraudulent registrations take up time for voting registrars. That means some will get through and then vote several times.
