Check out the first meeting (that I’m aware of anyway) between some members of our blog family! Below is a photo of chas (in the black hat), Eileen (lovely lady next to him) and Jim TN (plus Jim’s wife Larson and 7-month old baby Alice).
Here’s how this happened: chas asked JimTn (via blog) if he was from Tennessee (logical question). JimTN said yes. Chas told him he and Eileen were going to Nashville on vacation and JimTN said he didn’t live that far away. They all got together for lunch. I’m told a wonderful time was had by all — even baby Alice, who napped part of the time in chas’s arms.
Thanks for sending the pic! I await a dinner date next!

This is a great blog! If anyone ever happens to come through my home state of North Dakota…I have to say come through, because my doubts are that anyone is here with me with our limited population (LOL!), but you never know, I think that Chas and JimTN started a good idea, so blog me back and lunch sounds great! Not many know much about this great place and I probably opened myself up to a bunch of jokes, but I’ll take it!
Thanks for sharing the photo and idea and I enjoy the ‘blogs.’

Thanks Fox News, Nothing like showing non stop coverage to Oboma, and as soon as you start to talk about McCain (about 30 sec) and his VP pick you switch to Greta that immediatelt talks about Oboma again.
Just noticed that Bill Hemmer purposely cut off the reporter who had real scoop on AK airplane…he was talking about how another plane had flown into AK from Arizona and then a flight took off and then landed in OHIO. Hmmmm….he was just getting into additional details and then “nuthin.” !!! Top of the hour…Love this sight. Glued to TV. Glued to this blog….Exciting tiimes!
McCain’s choice of Palin, if true, is the best news of the week. This blows Obama (i mean Nobama) away baby!
Maybe I’m missing something. We were all led to believe that George Bush was the reason Katrina was such a disaster, but now that Gustof is such a success story why is he not getting the credit for putting all the right people into place.
Good morning. Rick and Janice have been doing and excellent job keeping us informed. They must be feeling pretty tired, just like those involved in front and behind of t5he camera during the convention coverage.
My question: Where is Dominica Davis? Is she still with the network?
First of all don’t think I am a man, I am a woman. I wanted to mention the insensitive remark made by your co-heart on the sofa beside you concerning the OLD people on the beach. He acted like they didn’t have enough sense to get off the beach. Right before a hurricane is a very nice time to be outside and walk.
By the way Allison, you are adorable. You would make a great Secretary of State.
Alisyn, You always look great, but I made the comment to my husband 3 days ago, that I thought you were pregnant again. You have a glow, your hair is darker, and your clothes are a bit snug. If you are, congrats. If you are not, forgive this intrusion.
