Sunday morning
by Alisyn Camerota
Morning Everyone! I’m digging this blogging during the show. We’ve got some great stuff for you today: we’ll break down the housing bill for you and show you some lion love.

good morning alisyn
thanks for brightening up our morning i love this video you are going to show brings a tear to the eye
Isn’t the lion video great?
OMG ALISYN! You’re back today! I was so thrilled to see you yesterday that I didn’t want to leave the house to do my usual Saturday morning errands. (I waited until later — heh).
Just wanted to say how great the show is – you three are magical together. Love you, love the show.
You’re so sweet Chris. Thank you!
Alisyn so hapy to see you on the Weekends but will really miss you Mon – Fri……Hope this was your choice!!!!
Hopefully your team will be on every weekend!
Good morning Ms. Alisyn,
I’m guessing that it’s tough to do much responding being on set all the time. But at least we still get to express our thoughts.
Congress has been crying for months about debt spending and here we go spending more on home rescue. Sorry, if it’s the idea of a politician it probably isn’t a very good odea and it will cost more than they say it will.
Have a great day Ms. Alisyn.
chas
It is tough but not impossible. and it’s fun!
Good Morning Alisyn…
Just what the American Taxpayer needs a multi-billion dollar bailout of the two biggest Mortgage companies in the United States. Let’s hope the CEO’s of the company do not use the money to give themselves another Multi-million dollar bonus. The problem with this bailout is that many of the mortgage holders in this fiasco were speculating or rolling houses.
Looks like everyone will come out winners except the American taxpayers. I am not unsympathetic just mad that our government did not properly supervise the industry and let these companies be used as the personal piggy bank of the CEO’s of both companies who were able to buy off Key Democratic and Republican Congressmen and Senators who regulate the industry with low interest sweetheart Mortgage loans.
How about mid-life crisis vote?
aLISYN, iS IT TRUE THE SURGE IS WORKING BECAUSE MONEY IS BEING EXCHANGED FOR THEM NOT TO ATTACK?
thank you.
Hmmmm…….. I could have sworn there were 200 comments under the privious topic and it magically dropped to 150. Wuzup wit dat?
No idea
New voting bloc:
Your weekend mates did a segment recently on older women pursuing younger men, so why not call this new voting bloc the “Cougar Coalition”?
Love it — read it on the air
Garden Lady voter block? My mom fits the category. She is in her 50’s, active, does not have her college degree. However, she shops plays tennis every week and does her yard every week like religion. Her sisters are the same way. P.S. she grew up a Kennedy democrat, yet she refuses to vote for Obama.
I am one of those 50 and older women.I don’t like either candidate.I think Obama is just another slick talker.Out of the 2 though i will go with McCain if i have to. If someone would run independent like The Donald Trump he would have my vote in a heart beat.Look how many times he has bounced back up from going in the hole. I think we should be called the terminators.
Regarding the 50 and 60 year old women, I call myself a common sense senior republican.

Dear Alisyn,
The real story in the housing crisis is not being reported, at all.
There is approx. 80,000,000 households in US.
68% of Households (which is a pretty constant number) which own homes.
70% of those folks have bad credit (under 640 FICO) or could not afford a 20-30% downpayment to buy a home.
That means that 7% of 68% of 80,000,000 people can not purchase a home without sub-prime mortgages. That means that approximately 38,000,000 people can not meet conventional mortgage requirements, or 1/2 of the homeowners & potental homebuyers. THAT’S A DIASTER!
Making this worst is the BABY-BOOMER effect to hit the housing market which is expected to hit in the year 2012. Becuase property taxes, nationwide, increase at approximtely 8% per year – many seniors can not afford to live in their homes evene if the mortgage is paid off. By the mid to end of 2012, baby-boomers are expected to start selling their homes at unpredecented rates.
Housing prices in most markets will be going down for many years to come.
This new FANNIE MAE/FREDDIE MAC BAIL-OUT Bill does absolutly nothing! It’s a joke.
AMERICA NEEDS SUB-PRIME MORTGAGES or average housing prices to income ratios must come way down. (Prices have to get cheaper.)
The next thing on the horizon is 50 and 100 year mortgages!! It’s sad.
Obama wants to insure 47 million uninsured people. Of those, 7-12 million are illegal aliens. The cost of this would be outrageous to hard working Americans who may not qualify for free health care. Not to mention the number of illegals who would find a way to abuse such a program.
Alisyn You on and we are tuned in! Good Luck for the weekend show!
Thank you!
Re: Obama’s female supporters
How about calling them “Obamamas”, or “Obama Mammas?”
Alisyn you make me day everytime I see you on the show! You are so darn sexy I cant stand it…….
love ya hotstuff!
Good Morning Alisyn and fellow Greenroomers,
Since the lion love video was on youtube could we call in “onlion love”?
Alisyn, you asked for ideas on what to call the older female voters that supposedly are the voting block to win. How about “Empty Nester Moms’? As they are older than the ’soccor moms’ and their children have now moved out of the house.
Onlion love! Ha!
Good morning,
I am 60, without a college degree and I like to call my self something original like CONCERNED AMERICAN VOTER, what do you think, catchy enough?
I like it
The women between 50 and 60 could be called “swinging grandma’s”
Not too likely Lea. You don’t get to buy off people who want you dead.

Andy Levy has to be smiling after the footage of that lion.
Alisyn,
A 52 year old single college educated woman I definitely will vote for McCain because he is someone who definitely works with others and is honest. I am an Army brat whose father served this county for 35 years and now have a niece who is a 2nd lt army nurse at Walter Reed. . It appears that Obama used his trip to Europe to get publicity and then did not go to see Landstuhl because the press could not report it. Americans wake up this election is for an American President not a president of the world.
The Blue-hair Brigade.
Great to see you, Alysyn –
I watch F&F EVERY morning and started to panic when I didn’t see you the last couple of weeks — people do fall off the face of the earth sometimes on Fox. I’m still wondering what happened to Page!
You are a smart and witty lady, and I’m happy to see Fox is rewarding your talent.
Call them what they are…babe-boomers.
Hard to believe a suicide bomber would change his whole point of view for a little cash. lol

Perfect name for 50-60 Reagan women….blue haired democrats
People also need to be better informed that Freddie and Fannie are GOVERNMENT agencies getting a bailout, not private companies.
Are Huckabee questions not allowed? Why would my innocuous little question be deleted?
I am continuously amazed by the people of ALL ages who follow so blindly a man with so little expeirence who will promise us anything! I can understand the young set who have so little “life” experience but the over 50’s have been around long enough to know better. (I’m 58). Obama and his smooth talk is reminiscent of Jim Jones (of Guiena – spelling??) Remember him??? Promised his followers everything and he led them to their death???? WAKE UP AMERICA – ESPECIALLY 50+ LADIES, YOU’RE SMARTER THAN THIS!!!
Hello Alisyn,
This is my first try to comment or even to blog however, I feel I have something important to share from a friend of mine who has a friend in Bagram Afghanistan serving our Country an email the service man sent to His frinds in Virginia. The email is below in which I copied and paste from the email I was sent so I could leave names out.
The email concers what this service man observed when Senator Obama visited their this past week.
Here is what the email says.
Hi all FYI–for what freedom is worth.
Tiffany and Jeff are our friends who live in Virginia.
———- Forwarded Message ———-
Hello everyone,
As you know I am not a very political person. I just wanted to
pass along that Senator Obama came to Bagram Afghanistan for about an hour on
his visit to ‘The War Zone’. I wanted to share with you what happened.
> He got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to
the area to meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at
Bagram.
>
> As the Soldiers where lined up to shake his hand he blew them
off and didn’t say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the
General. As he finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a
big top tent that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with
weights) so he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again
shunned the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service.
>
> So really he was just here to make a showing for the American’s
back home that he is their candidate for President. I think that if you are
going to make an effort to come all the way over here you would thank those that
are providing the freedom that they are providing for you.
>
> I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or
the Dallas Cowboy Cheer leaders than from one of the Senato rs, who wants to be
the President of the United States. I just don’t understand how anyone would
want him to be our Commander-and-Chief. It was almost that he was scared to be
around those that provide the freedom for him and our great country.
>
> If this is blunt and to the point I am
sorry but I wanted you all to know what kind of caliber of person he really is.
What you see in the news is all fake.

Hi Steve, thanks for blogging. This is letter has reached viral proportions. It’s veracity is in question.
I am in that age group of voters…how about the Boomer Babes?
I think the 50 to 60 year old women demographic is best described as the ‘Experienced Women’ vote. These women have life experiences that are invaluable. They’ve the intelligence and savvy to not be taken in by any smooth talker making flowery overtures. The Experienced Women know what’s up.
I don’t know if it went through, but how about the Boomer Babes!
“menopausal old bats”, Ms. Radner!! someone should certainly pick up on this. I’m one of those women , a democrat; now that I know what the Ms Radner democrats think of our generation, I’ll never vote democrat again. Ms. Radner needs to research the life of Obama, he was raised very nicely by WHITE FOLKS, he never lived in a ghetto!!!!
I think to display the wide variety of the voting block they could be the gardening cougars.
If that female demographic is predominantly Republican, I would call them SMART!
Lea: Yes we paid the Sunnis to behave,THAT is why the surge “worked”, but don’t think you will be able to say that on this blog they are all KOOL AID drinker. This playground has many bullies, as I am sure you will see shortly. Let the bashing begin!
Obama mamma’s LOVE IT!
McCain’s matriarchs?
I believe you are mistaken Allen. They are Government BACKED, not Government owned.
chas
You all made me laugh so hard this morning, with the Rick promo for his surfing lessons. I can’t believe I got out of bed at 7:12 laughing on a Sunday morning… (not to rub it in … you get guys get up so much earlier…)
Loved the baby seal photos! Your producers show great judgment!
Alisyn, What do you do to get your legs so tan and sleek looking. I’d like to do the same to mine. I assume no hose but perhaps spray on tan? Keep up the good work.
Diane
Cynthia is right on!! Any intelligent person should be able to see through Obama. Lots of photo-ops on his trip. I esp. noticed him touching the back of the Isralie Prime Minister, I think, while they were walking together. Kind of an intimate act and a little bold but they looked like old pals. I’m so afraid people will not see through him … a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Alysyn:
I need a score card. Are you now on weekends? That’s great cuz you fun & hot.
But where is Ainsely going to be?????
Nice skirt today!
Chris Farley? I’m a huge fan of your work.
What is twitter and where do I get twitter lessons? Or, do I really even want to be in a twitter about twitter?
Saw the poor baby seals!!!
Reminded me of a joke;
BABY SEAL WALKS INTO A CLUB………!!!!!!!!!!
If it may help anyone to know, there are many possible reasons why some comments don’t get posted immediately.
More often than not, it’s technical difficulties or just sheer lag time.
Information technology is still in it’s infancy.
We just have to be patient with it.
On The housing bill. Did you say it’s for first time home buyers only? Also would applying hurt your credit score? Last year we made good money (Real Estate Broker.) But this year we so far are below the poverty line.. nothing is selling so Id say we are certainly using over 35% of our current income on our mortgage. So why can’t we jump in on this game? Especially since I am certain we will be paying for everyone else’s “break” next year IF folks start buying homes again.
What are doctors saying about Obama’s health plan? Most of them already hate HMO’s and Managed Care Plans. Will they opt out of the program, leaving us in a real bind?
Hillary pushed her plan the whole time her old man was the president and never got it through. What makes anyone believe the Junior Senator could pull off the impossible anyway?
good, morning! great to see you this morning; i am a black man and and appreciate seeing you so much on the show. it is a great sunday morning
I think all of us women in our 50-60 can see through the smoke screen ( Obama) that been given day after day. Take away Obama cameras see how well he does. My mom always told me beware of the SMOOTH TALKER !!! Just like he would not go see the troops in the hospital with out his Cameras. Because of Troops past and present are why he can do what he does and say what he wants . The Blood of are Troops past and present give us the freedom we have to day.
Proud Mom of A Marine
Anyone who advocates a National Health Care program should research the quality of care given by the VAHC (Veteran’s Administration Health Care) if they want to see how the government handles (or DOESN’T) handle health care. I am a veteran (WAC) from the Vietnam era who is 100% service connected disabled. There is not enough space or time to explain the extreme level of frustration that I and thousands of other veteran’s feel trying to get even basic health care with the VA. People should go through the VA system for 6 months and I think they would change their minds about government health control at all costs.
That email is a hoax and keeps getting spammed across many blogs. There is probably an ounce of truth in that some probably felt snubbed, but that one is a hoax.
good morning alisyn
Why don’t you ask them on the oil leases exactly how many of them are being held from being drilled on becasue of enviromentalist lawsuits stopping the drilling.
It easy to say there are so many leases not being drilled on but they are not saying that many are being blocked by lawsuits.
Tom
ps
love the high caliber fox news try to give
Good Morning Alisyn,and everyone,
Obama didnt visit the soldiers because the media couldnt be there.
Sal
I dont understand why you keep bringing dems on to talk about oil drilling they all drank the kool aid and just give the same pat answer
Ever heard of Fair and Balanced?
Hello,
I have to say I loved your dress you were wearing yesterday- the green was gorgeous.
Then tonight (as I live in Melbourne Australia) I was on the Banana Republic site and I could swear I saw your dress on the site- is it Banana Republic??
Anyways you always look amazing! Great job as always.
amanda
Yes, it is!
Good Morning Alisyn, and everyone,
Obama didnt visit the soldiers because the media couldnt be there.
Sal
Only the intellectually juvenile will buy Congressman Pallone Jr.’s very temporary solution to oil prices. The 3rd biggest influence in Congress is the environmental movement and this is an election season so I would not expect him to offer real concrete solutions that involve actually tapping our own resources of oil and gas. It is irresponsible to consider tapping our “strategic” oil reserves. Congress is it’s own special interest group and what is good for the country comes after what is good for their political careers.
Could the “folks” on Sunday Morning find something to say as they report news other than “break it down”? This has been used so much that it is completely over done. Thanks. David Phillips.
You’re right. I’ll try.
Why do the swing vote groups get more complicated. When are we going to see the American/Hungarian cave dwelling vegetarians focused on. Or the Left handed Scottish Hasidic Jews. Just think these groups are left out. If anyone else knows any groups let the politicians know.
Did you guys show the new terminator yet?
Alisyn, Glad your back. You were really missed by your fans. Are you going to be on the weekends only, now? Just as long as you are back, its okay. This is the best trio for the weekend, ever, but we also love Rick (the dimples and smile, on the weather guy). Lois
Thanks Lois,
I’ll primarily be hosting weekends but I’ll also be filling-in during the week — as I am tomorrow and Tuesday for Gretchen who is on vacation.
About Obaman’s trip to visit the soldiers, I received the following in an email.
Well if he can’t even shake hands he has no business being our commander in chief
As the Soldiers were lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and didn’t
say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General. As he
finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big top tent
that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with weights) so
he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again shunned
the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service.
Good morning I’m am a constant viewer of Fox and Friends. This morning I was very disapointed during the intervew of the two congressmen. Control was lost and the Democratic congressman was allowed to continually intrerupt the the Republican while the Republican was not as rude.
Arthur Titcomb
Steven, thank you – beautiful comment from Afganistan troops.
Vietnam Vet in support of our troops and McCain as most are.
In response to your question of what to call the newly identified voting group, perhaps it should be called:
MEOW for MEnopausal Older Women
Of course I mean no disrespect, I am simply following the direction of your guest comment on this one.
Tim
Ally: I have two questions that don’t seem to be being addressed on current issues.
First Why are the oil companies not drilling on the leases they have? The congressmen you had on this morning stated they did not know. Why would opening up other areas to drill get them to drill more? Do the other areas offer better production or are they cheaper to drill than the current leases? It would seem these are questions Congress should be asking to determine what policies would provide the best relief. I would add that since President Bush removed the drilling restrictions gas prices here are down over $.35 per gallon.
My other questions is about Obamas European trip. Who paid the expenses on this trip? My guess is it came out of the congressional budget. Why should the American people pay for a trip like this, when it was obviously a polictical trip for Obama, and he has raised how many millions?
Good Morning Alisyn,
My middle name is also Lane…..It is pretty unusal. Was their any special reason your parents picked Lane for your middle name?
By the way, you are an incredible host…
Yes, my Mom’s name is Elaine and she was called Lane for short. And you?
Good Morning Fox & Friends! Just a small FYI – while I am sure that you think the “manly man” candles are intriguing, try a soy candle. My daughter has a soy candle business and while none have actual manly names, the “Natural Embrace” is a true man pleaser – she has accounts at the Mercedes dealership – they sell the candles in the service department and Natural Embrace and Princess Grace (named after my granddaugter) are the guys favorites – they actually askerd her last week whihc of the scents would be best to burn out there to make them all get along better! And guess what…the Organic Lavender was the one she informed them is the best – they are trying it! They also use her lotion – it has its own cnadle too – Bahaman Rain…now tell me that those are not good enough for men too!!!! Try them, you might like them.
And Allison, I am glad you are on the show – perfect foil for the two men. Great show any day of the week, but, weekends, one has more time to really watch and listen!
** By the way, hope you get this as I am not too good on the computer e-mail stuff. E Shepard.
You’re better than you think.
Get to know the Anchor:
He is really sweet, seriously. I know he is married, but do they have children?
It explains many things, like now I know why Clayton is the way he is… He was hit in the head during a high school water polo match
I missed the website for the free cruises…can you share again please?
Love the show – gives solid info and have alot of fun as well…what a great combo!
Alyson—Sunday morning….My husband and I love Fox & Friends and this morning I just had to respond to the seemingly unimportant tidbit that Dave “HATES” mayonaise. This isn’t to be taken lightly…so I rushed to our computer to let him know he isn’t alone!! I’m 39 and have 3 younger brothers and it is the joke of the family that our mother “trained” us to HATE mayo…we just don’t eat it. If we were castaways on LOST and all there was to eat was an endless supply of Hellmann’s…we would be out of luck and just found our new diet regimen!!
Just thought I would let Dave know he was not alone…and sorry Clayton…I’ll have to find an Omelette hater for ya…
You guys are great!!
Keep it up!!
Amy from Pittsburgh!!
Good Morning..
My suggestion for the 50 to 60 something ladies is “Boomer Girls” as we are part of the Baby Boomer generation. I would like to think we have enough life experience to know the difference between a smooth talker who has, in my humble opinion, accomplished nothing of consequence other than think of himself as the ONLY person who can fix the worlds problems in “8 to 10 years” after he visits all
“58 states” and a true hero who fought put his very life on the line for this country. That in itself does not qualify an individual to be President but goes to the character of an individual. Talk, even as beautifully spoken as Senator Obama, does not qualify one to be President.
On a different note, why are we paying the candidates salaries while the are out looking for another job.
No where else is there an employer that would give an individual 2 years off with pay to seek other employment only to drop in to work a couple times when it was advantageous to him not their employer.
To me, it does not make any difference that they are running for President and if they do not win they will just go back as if they were just gone for a long weekend. The individual, be it Democrat or Republican, should resign their position. Oh, I forgot, they make the rules. Stupid me.
Thanks for letting me rant..
Alisyn,
I found your discussion about twins very interesting. I also have twin girls who are now 20 years old. We have always encouraged and allowed them to be individuals. We never fought separating them in school, matter of fact, we supported it. As adults, they have different friends, interests, etc. Despite the fact that they aren’t “clones” of eachother, they are still very close as sisters and supportive of eachother.
Morning Alisyn,
I received an email yesterday on Barack Obama’s trip to Bagram, Afghanistan. It was sent from a soldier (supposedly) that said the trip wasn’t as great as the media says it was (surprise, surprise). The email said that he got off his plane and into a bulletproof vehicle that took him to meet with the 2 star general, then back into the vehicle (blowing off all the soldiers that were lined up to shake hands with him). Then he was taken to the “clamshell” (gym) for his publicity pictures with the basketball. After his publicity pictures he was taken right back to his vehicle, once again shunning the opportunity to talk with the soldiers. Is there any truth to this??? Can you check this out and let Americans know the truth. Why go all the way over there if he’s not going to try to shake a hand and say thank you as he’s walking by a soldier. Thanks.
Hi Alisyn
Well I’m a 21 year old student from Clemson and I absolutely can’t stand Obama and his ignorant tree hugin followers. He talks so confidently about how his plan would have been so much better than the surge, but when you ask him about it he just turns his nose up as if its not worth his breath to even explain. Does he not owe Americans and the troops in Iraq an explanation of his plan he probably derived from his community work and support of unsuccessful Head Start programs, while throwing money out the window with a smile. Its like telling a friend I could of made you a million $ even though I live at home with mom, and I’m not going tell you how since you bought that new car. Also who is he informing when he criticizes off shore drilling by saying, “If we drill off shores it won’t help the economy for years down the road.” Anybody who reads a newspaper every once in awhile or understands how drilling works knows that you don’t push a button and barrels of oil come out. Why does he waste his breath, I guess he’s informing the guy that will be at the poles voting for him on the sole reason they’re ready for change. I need to make money fast to get out of this country if someone like him is in office.
Alison,
Love to see you now on the weekends…. Great job….. When you were reading about Clayon and Dave’s like and dislikes you didn’t mention if Clayon was married or if he has kids????? I haven’t heard if he is.
I love the new show and think you guys and ladies are great…..
Thanks for making us all smile.
Good morning everyone.. Love the new show.. Love to see Alisyn back from vacation.. When you were speaking you didn’t mention if Clayon was married and if he has kids?
I love the new cast members and love the show. We watch every weekend…..
Aliyson you are my fav… thanks for bringing a smile to our faces…
Thanks Sharon. Clayton is mysterious….Just kidding, he’s married, no kids yet
On the story about the family with 18 children, isn’t the real question about this story is “When did the mother find the time, privacy and energy to conceive the last 15-16 kids?” LOL
Love the new show….. Love to see Alisyon back…. You really make me smile…
Love the fact that you all are real people and I have learned a lot from watching every weekend…
Is Clayon married and if so, does he have kids?
Any new info on that 2 yr old girl Caylee??? Haven’t heard this morning….
Your question was, what do you call 50-60 year old soccer moms?-BABY BOOMERS!!! The man graduates high school and if he doesn’t have the $, he goes to Vietnam. If he comes home from that, he gets a job, gets married and has a few kids and pretty much did what his dad did for a living. The wife never gets a real chance at colledge because she is 21-22 years old with lots of kids. Some of the men use the real GI bill, stay single and go to colledge. After colledge they get a white collar job and start to make a living starting at $15,000 in the corporate world. Both husband and wife were democrates because their parents were. Back when they were kids, their parents worked in labor and made enough to live well. Then we lost all our labor overseas. My father was a meat packer at a plant that had 5000 workers. He made $58,000 for 36 brutal hours of work in 1980. They were cut back to $9-10 per hour and 800 workers. The boomer that went to the plant, feels cheated and now both he and his wife must work at 55 yrs old to make ends meet. They are democrates. I made it out and into the corporate world. My father wouln’t let me work at the plant and make $58,000. I started at $12,000. I am now the CEO of a large company money is not an issue. I could have retired at 40. I’m a Republican. I learned one important fact. When the democrates take a tax shot at me, I duck and it hits my lowest paid employee. I have a duty to my shareholders to make profits so now I have to fire a low level employee or slow growth. I don’t plan on taking home less or lose everything to my competition. I get paid to beat the other guy or the shareholders will replace me with an accountant and start firing people. I’ve created over 5,000 jobs at $35,000 minimum and only had to fire 44. I remember each one of them and I did it personally, because I know what it’s like on the other side of the desk.
I cant believe that the Democratic party and the MSM are backing Obama,
a man that has No Experience what so ever to be President,
I dont understand what they are thinking,
they must think the American people are stupid,
because in november, John McCain will be your next President,
they can say what ever they want, the American people know more about Obama then they might think, and it doesnt matter what the MSM says,
because its all one sided.
Sal
this is 1st time i have blogged just a comment on the Dugger Family they are wonderful people and he was a State Rep in Ark and ran for another office his entire family hlped him campaign
hi Alisyn. love your show. watch F&F all the time. we live in the Reading PA are. our sons graduated from Schuylkill Valley. where did Clayton play water polo in high school? we are always intrigued with home town news. keep up the good work.
Alisyn – so glad to see you back on the weekends! is this permanent? you three are very enjoyable to watch
When I was a Montessori teacher of 3-5 years olds…I had one of a set of 3 year old boy twins. The Mom is a teacher and Dad is a school counselor. They wanted the boys separated. I figure parents know best. They were 3 that year and coming out of the 2 year old room where they were together.
The one I had barely spoke all year long but they said he sang every song at home, etc. They did gravitate to eachother on the playground but also had friends in their rooms. I think it was a good decision. He did all his lessons, cleaned up, etc. He just did not talk…selective mutism.
It tooks them years to have children and they were the best family to work with as a teacher.
I enjoyed the story you did on the family with 18 kids.
Your reaction to the total of children was great.
My grandparents had 18 children way back in the day. My father, was #10 and as he says “started the second half” of the family.
When we have family reunions it is a lot of fun. Several years ago the local paper did a story on our reunion.
Thanks for the smiles.
My father is the 13th of 18 children born in 1931. They were raised in Tennessee in a two bedroom farm house. All were singles births and when the youngest was a toddler, my grandfather died leaving my grandmother to finish raising them. The system was that an older one was assigned and younger one to make sure they were up and ready for chores and school. My grandparents had a farm that was their means of income and feeding the family. She would have a child one day and then be in the fields the next, ususally with a “papoos” style wrap carring the newborn when it was needing to nurse, she could go under a shade tree and do so. I know this sounds primitive, but they managed and was a close knit family that to this day, the surviving children are close and still look out for each other. It can be done, and no it is never going to be easy. My generation thinks…”this is impossible, stupid or even amazing,” but the main thing is at least with my dad’s family, it was the LOVE that binds for them and believe this, I am an only child. My parents tried and tried and with three miscarriages, I was the only child. Sometimes I wish that I had the closeness of 17 other siblings. I see how even after their parents were gone they and those ties that bind. Alisyn, I wish you could have shadowed my grandmother. What a woman!
Alisyn, could you guys give a little get-to know-your-weatherman, about Rick? Likes and dislikes. We shouldn’t leave him out, especially with his discrimination against pets.
Just Kidding, Rick!
Jenny in VA
I had my fifth baby by emergency c-section overseas right after my first child turned four years old. My husband was working 90 hours a week. The maternity clinic was not up to US standards. I had four in cloth diapers and had a semi-automatic washing machine which had to be filled with a hose. It took me six hours a day to do a load. Many people ask how did I manage. You just do what you have to do.
As for twins, my niece had twins forty years ago when it was popular to have them do everything the same. She did not dress them alike and would not even allow the family to call them “the twins”. They were individuals. While they were very close (their choice), they went on to have very different careers.
Many years later, one was living upstate New York and the other in Florida. The four numbers of their addresses were exactly the same!
Alysin,
Arrogant is an understatement. The jr senator from Illinois has not even been officially named as the nominee from his party? His trip was supposed to be to see the troops, not a world tour photo opportunity. He has, yet one more time, shown his true colors, which are NOT RED WHITE AND BLUE. Noppers, not at all. I felt very embarrassed by the whole show…but, I felt the same way when Nancy P. went over to “talk” to heads of state. IF Senator McCain had made this trip and engaged in the exact same antics, the media would have been all over him like a wet blanket. This is definitely one of the more disgusting things that have happened during this very unusual election cycle.
I didn’t like the Traveling Obamathon at all! A Junior Senator has no business meeting world leaders and making promises he can’t keep. I don’t even like this “Citizen of the World” gibberish. As Americans we will always stand beside others and assist in their fight for their freedoms, but we are Americans first! We should always stand tall and proud of that fact!
How about calling the older women voting block the “Golden Girls”?
Resent the comment by Obama campaign worker that women 50 to 60 years old are called “menopausel bats”. This should be brought to lite..for sure.I think Obama is a life crisis…..
Alisyn:
The secret to raising 18 kids is called discipline and teaching personal responsibility something today’s parents simply don’t get. The Duggers are a prime example of what real parenting can accomplish.
Alison, I come from a family of 14 children. What you need to understand is that all of those kids wern’t born at once. The older children help with the younger children. This makes them generally more responsible as adults. I credit my upbringing with the wonderful work ethic that kept me in employment all of my life. I never left a job that I couldn’t have gone back to anytime.
Also, I”m one of that demographic that you just spoke about. Although I had my children later in life, so my kids are just transitioning from the sports thing to getting serious about jobs and schoolwork(my kids have always been serious about schoolwork). I don’t love McCain but I’ll take him over the guy who hasn’t really defined himself so he’s talking for everyone else on the left. Who else could say that showing up a veterans hospital without the press would be political but bringing his campaign staff wouldn’t be. I think he’s a Carter-Clinton reheat. I also think the democrats would be more apt to reinstate the draft since you can run a conscript army on the cheap. The democrats are in hock to their government employee trade union base. They need to get the money to pay them somewhere.
Hello Alisyn: Adore the show. You and the sports and gadget guys make a great team. I learned something about my home province of British Columbia today. That is that we have a family with one more child than the people in Arkansa. Don’t worry though not all families in B.C. have 18 children, whew!
As to what to call the Democrat party women who cannot figure out what to call themselves, I kind of agree with several other posters, they’re baby boomers. Wave 1. The worst of the boomers. Then we’ll have Waves 11 & 111.
You all look like you’re Waver 111ers.
Plese show this to the weather guy. His surfing inspired me.
Bye, now.
The Granny Gangsters
Older Women Voting Block — call them Matlock Moms or Matlock Mothers
I think it is time for McCain to announce a veep, which will interject some excitement into his campaign. I still think that choice should be Mitt Romney, because he is everything Obama is not. Extremely successful business man, Governor of a complicated blue state and tackled health care in that state head on. He has experience with all the things that are foremost in the minds of the American voter at this point in time.
Hi Alisyn,
How about Dye-Hard voters?

Alysin,
Already the trip to the doctor’s office is traumatic. One has an appointment, but of course, the wait can be very very long regardless of your actual appointment time. One is very apt to see the nurse practitioner instead of the actual doctor. If one is there, and wishes to discuss another event that may have come up between making the appointment and the day of the appointment, it cannot be discussed, as it is a new issue, and cannot be added to the original reason for coming in to the doctor’s office. One must make a separate appointment and come back and go through the same waiting, nurse practitioner, doctor cannot talk about anything except the reason for the original appointment reason. What should be a comforting reassuring experience, has become fraught with high anxiety. Do we really want the government to make this experience even worse than it already is? I don’t think so. I am over sixty, and I do have full insurance coverage. In my opinion one gets the exact same care from urgent care, so why bother with the formality of an appointment? One can go over to urgent care, see a real doctor, wait just as long to see said doctor, and come out feeling no worse than if at the primary physician’s….a sad commentary on what our medical association has allowed to happen to an honorable and worthy vocation.
Alisyn! We are a small group of Marines that maintain a 24 hour post in Quantico, VA. Me and the guys watch foxnews every morning everytime you come on it brightens the day. Everyone insists we “turn it up! Alisyn’s on!” and generally we dont get any work done until the shows over. Thanks for the entertainment, it gives us something to look forward to at work. We wanted you to know you had some dedicated Marine Corps fans and send you some love.
With Love and Admiration,
Sgt and company
I think that the women between 50-60 years old should be called “Beauty Parlor Grannies”. I don’t know how it is in the rest of the country but in the South it is like clockwork. I can find my mother-in-law every Thursday at 1:00. Take care and we Fox!!!

Hi Alisyn,
First let me apologize for sending an email earlier and misspelling your name, but when I went back to viewing the show this morning I took notice. Anyway, I just wanted to submit an entry into the search for a name for that 35% voting block of voters 50-60 year old women w/o college degrees. How about life-graduate grannies. Not great, but I’ll keep mulling it over.

Alysin,
Taking the baby to work? I don’t think this is a good plan. What is wrong with making a decision about your life? To impose the children into the work place on a daily basis is not ok, in general. If one is a professional, then child care should be part of the whole plan to work and have children…and can be done quite successfully I might add. I am totally child oriented, but would not like this thrown into my day. I love seeing the children when there for the scheduled events, but otherwise, not the place for children on the whole…not good for business, the child, or mom. Co-workers who do not have children are already ask to do more sometimes? Yes, they are, and that is a fact!

I was quite impressed with the segment on High School Teen idol……where can I get more information for my son to be part of this educational/competition?
Please don’t use such derogatory terms for woman who may just be some of the most informed voters in the upcoming election. How very insulting.
Boomer Babes!!! NOT every woman is a mom or grandma, so it must be BOOMER BABES!! Which covers it beautifully I think? We are so very smart, good looking, and in tune with the world and what is going on. Yes we are!!! BOOMER BABES!!!

Enough already! Menopause isn’t the defining factor for women 50-60. Many of us are also educated, productive in the workforce and just plain smart. I realize the discussion was for 50-60 YO women who are not college educated, however, they’re not all watching soap operas and sitting in the beauty shop.
I love this show!!! Just call the 50-60 age group of ladies “The Menopausal Decision Makers” I’m close to the group haha
How about GenFem?
This was the generation of women who left the kitchen to go to the workplace, creating today’s modern day double income household, and whose feminist movement broke down barriers and broke through the glass ceiling for generations of working women to come.

Hi Alisyn:
You are just what the weekend show needed! Your chemistry with the “boys” is great. Now that you are on I plan on tuning in every weekend. Clayton should be happy that someone on the couch finally gets his sense of humor!
Cougar Coalition Rocks!
My mother will die when I start referring to her as a member of the Cougar Coalition. LOL
Hello again. I received an email about Barak Obama being sworn in his current position using the Quran instead of the Holy Bible. Do you know if this is true? Also, it said that he would use the Quran to be sworn in as President should we have the misfortune of him winning the election.
Name for older women voters. . . . .
Hot Flashers? No? How about the “Power Surgers” instead?
Great show this morning as usual.
Sandy
Hey Alisyn!
I have the buzzword (buzz-phrase) for the 50-60 year old (uneducated) ladies in this election cycle…
” Empty Nesters”
What do you think?
For heaven’s sake, people! We are not talking about women in their 70s-80s. We should be known as more than moms and/or grannies. Our hair is not gray, and we don’t spend half our day in the beauty parlor.
Where are those flower children out there? Where is the commitment to do something with our lives that was more than what our moms did? We are the girls of the Mod 60s and Free-swinging 70s. All you people can come up with is golden girls and boomer babes?
We loved “Mod Colors”. We broke glass ceilings! We had “Flower Power”.
Alisyn, welcome back young lady, you were missed!
What was the website created by the young man you had on this morning, I believe his name was Andrew Adams? Very impressive young fellow, well spoken, with well placed priorities.
Again, so great to have you with my morning coffee again, it wasn’t the same without you!!
“grabagrannies”
Hey Alisyn
“Empty Nesters”
seems appropriate for the 50-60 yr old swing voters.
Lori
I think the verdict is in. Alisyn Camerota was a BIG hit on the weekend Fox & Friends!!!!

Good morning- here’s my thought for the over 50 swing voters:
the 50/50’s
Thanks
Alisyn, thank you for a terrific show!
Why would someone who was “given!” a $450,000. house take out mortgages against the freebie totaling more than the house!? To live on? (avoiding a job)? I am really lost on this one. They probably deserve to be foreclosed upon if they haven’t any better financial sense than that.
Also, when people take out adjustable rate mortgages, there is something called a “cap” which is the maximum interest rate allowed during the life of a loan. This should be evaluated / factored in when applying for a mortgage.
I do not believe everyone should pay for the lack of common sense and greed of others…live within your means, control your emotions when making the largest financial investment you may ever make. Use your heads.
I agree with Pat D. It’s a shame that in this country, younger generations feel they have to reduce those that went before them and paved the way for their own “being” and “success”, to “grannies, menopausal, garden grandmas, romance readers, bingo babes etc.
Reference my earlier post. “This was the generation of women who left the kitchen to go to the workplace, creating today’s modern day double income household, and whose feminist movement broke down barriers and broke through the glass ceiling for generations of working women to come.”
I still think GENFEMS gives women over 50 the credit and respect they deserve and earned ( and in most cases, are still earning), over their lifetimes. Without us, women like Allisyn would not even be sitting in the chair that she does.
Who ever said, youth is wasted on the young!
Gen-Xers and Soccer Moms could still use some growing up and realize that they are not the center of the universe and world did not begin with them.
Just like they expect their children to pay them a little respect and my generation respects the “Greatest Generation, GenFems are due some respect for their great influence and lifetime achievements.
Kind of has the same ring to it as between the choices of todays Presidential Candidates. I contend, “Experience Matters”.
Good Point Gail. FemGen sounds better.
Nude restaurants just sound disgusting! Hmmm, what are the names of these restaurants and do you have driving directions?
HEY ALIYSN,

Hello! Love those 50 to 60’s women! They have guts and much more polite than most bloggers! Since when do women get blue hair? As for menapause, I wonder how many men in Senate are on VIAGRA ? Turn-about fair play ? I apologize to anyone offended but I don’t take it back!
Hey Aliyson…hope I spelled that right…never was a great speller and I know your name is a different spelling.
I am a working mom like you NOT Italian but should be due to the way I love Italian food! But just wanted to give you a shout out on the great job you do. You are down to earth yet still carry yourself with class. I had a question for you, I watch Fox and Friends every single day and watched like normal the Sunday show. You had a guest on that was speaking about free things I didnt have a pencil handy to write down how do you get a free cruise she said an email and also the free massage. I am a single mom and money is so so tight so I could use both!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and thanks in advance for the info. I requested. Keep up the GREAT job!

I’m very disapointed in Clayton’s statement about the Dayton Dragons.
He said he had been to a Dragon’s game but that he would not go back again.
If he had been to a game in Dayton he should have noticed the warm and friendly athomsphere. It is one of the few places in Dayton that has so many children in attendance. It is totally for the Children and their families. It is one of the nicest class “A” venues in all of baseball. And I might add a very safe place.
The incident was an awful thing but it was an onfield event that happens at many ball fields across the country.
Thank you Allyson for letting me vent.
Bill in West Milton Ohio
Hi Alisyn…Roberta may have something here. The swingvoters are those men & women that paved the way for working class women and the American Voice today. I believe “PavedTheWay” voter is an appropiate name!
And the “PavedTheWay” voters have spoken!
Did Obama forget to declare himself God while he was in Israel or is he just waiting until his next visit?
Hi Alisyn, I just wanted to make sure you got this because I don’t see my first blog.
How about Sensible Senoras or Senoritas?
Hi there Alisyn – I am so glad you are on Sunday a.m. – I was up early today after seeing my oldest off to Boy Scout Camp – and was disheartened to hear one of your co-hosts talk about his previous water polo playing with shame…especially when out here in CA it is currently Junior Olympics for Water Polo… and that’s where I am off to next – two of my sons (so far) play polo and were very excited to have their teams make it to JO’s…maybe you guys should highlight this fast growing and challenging sport (Currently one of the fastest growing sports for girls)
Thanks, Becky
Yes, experience DOES matter.
Obamination. He is not that slick. “Words, just words”…written for him, by others. The delivery is okay…just okay. I have quickly grown tired of his style of speech delivery. This seems like Affirmative Action in progress. Electing a person because of their color, giving an advantage because of. What kind of substance is there. This man has already had numerous advantages in life as well as his spouse; both are graduates of Harvard University. This poor little white girl (me) never had an opportunity to get anywhere close to an Ivy League University. But “his” wife has never been proud to be an American all of her adult life! “Embarrassed” by Americans that are not speaking foreign languages when abroad…which language did he speak? Last time I looked, France was the only country with French as its official language (a small country at that)! Many countries on many continents many miles apart have English as their language…USA in North America, Britain, Ireland, Scotland in Europe, Australia in Australia, I believe that English is also the official language in many African countries. It is much more of a universal language; there are so many obscure languages which are not so essential as our English language. English is the most important of languages to understand; of course, the more the merrier, but “embarrassed?”
This dude is going to “fix the high cost of milk?!” Please!!! And the church he belonged to for 20 years…exasperating! The American public is being marketed an advertising campaign and they are actually buying it. What are they buying? And what is this rock star thing? Crowds impassion crowds, anxiety begets anxiety…it is called “hype.” I believe it is out-right disrespectful of Obama ama and extremely selfish of him to even consider trying to be president of THE United States of America at this crucial time in our history. He is obviously clueless, naive and short-sided. I don’t see the “cool” factor with Osama-bama..only the “kool-aid” factor.
Additionally, I love President George W. Bush…he has great insight and predicted early on in this War on Terror how the American people would grow tired and become very impatient with this struggle…and it continues to unfold…….
Hey 85yota! Thank you for the letter! Everyone should know about this…What a tradgedy that our soldiers felt so shunned by someone claiming to represent our country on a publicity shoot……
FOX! Pick this up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…
Glad you are back – though you’ll be missed during the week. I enjoy the show on the weekends as well and Dave and Clayton are a good team. But I really enjoyed Greg Kelly too. Where is he – is he still with Fox News??
I was VERY disappointed with the news coverage this morning. You had a story about Obama running all morning and nothing about McCain.
I am unhappy that the FOX News group is not transparent in their “fair and balanced” coverage.

I think the verdict is in. Alisyn Camerota was a BIG hit on the weekend Fox & Friends!!!!
Marshall, my opinion is that Alisyn IS the HEART and SOUL of Fox & Friends ~ during the week OR the weekend. I think that the reason our Ali was moved to the weekend is because ratings were down on the weekend show after they dumped Greg, Page and Kelly; Ali obviously has a HUGE fan base and the weekend show needed help. I think if we read through the blog entries the past two days, a HUGE number of us are very grateful that Ali is back. Also, as I read through each blog entry Saturday and Sunday, there are a good number of viewers who switched from F&F to “the dark side” of cable shows. I think this was a decision by the network to save F&F weekend. The ONLY reason I watched the past two days is because Ali was on; she is definitely the ROSE between two thorns. One more thing ~ I think that Ali should be moved back during the week with Steve & Brian….they are a terrific team together and it’s so sad to see them broken up. This is just my opinion, and it will be interesting to see if this entry will be posted or deleted.
Alisyn
You are such a happy and upbeat person, you are fun to watch. Good luck with the weekend guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amy
Senator Obama will not admit the troop surge has helped in Iraq. But now he calls for more troops in Afghanistan. Gee, that sounds like a “troop surge”!! Why hasn’t anyone called him on that?
Aly,
It is so terrific having you host the weekend F & F. I am a big fan of both the weekday and weekend
shows. While you are missed on the weekday show, they need you to take control of the weekend
show. It needs a lot of work. You are a welcome addition. Now take those two boneheads, knock their heads together and straighten them out. The weekend show has been in need of improvement
for months now.
Thanks
Bill
Steve 7:50
Funny, I received an e-mail amazingly similar to yours. Albeit, my copy came from my uncle, who received it from a friend, who received it from an acquaintance, who just happens to have a nephew who’s now serving in Afghanistan–And he too felt the need to write about Barrack’s visit there (even though he’s not political either)—And get this, his name is Jeffrey too!—Imagine that!
Wow! Small world…
Hi Allison I do enjoy you on F & F we have it on all day most of the time
I am 50+ a Daughter of a retired military man and the mother of 5 sons
4 of who are Marines. I am also a Foster Mother to Teenage girls and have been for 20+ years
I have no College Ed and I hate Gardening
I would love to see a great group name but
Please dont label me a cougar,
Hope someone finds one
Alisyn I sorry I misspelled your name earlier.
I forgot to mention We will be voting for McCain. I am tired of listening to Obama talk already
Drudge report is blasting Finger popin Obama as being ahead of John McCain by nine points because of his trip overseas. John McCain shouldn’t give the Olive Garden waiter great ideas so that he could get more lead points. Obama is anything but presidential looking. He looks like the morning/evening CNN, MSNBC, talking studder head.
Is the 50-60 year old female voter name still open for suggestions? Why not go with what has been around and is familiar and call them “swinging” votes.
I would suggest the name of “Caregiver Coalition” for the 50-60 year old voting group. During this stage of our lives we are taking care of elderly parents and the college age children as well while holding down a job and managing the household.
Great show!
I dont think that Mitt Romney would be a good choice for McCain, mostly because that is precisely what the liberals are hoping for, so they can attack his Mormon Religion, among other things.
I think either Mike Steele or Charlie Crist would be wonderful choices, and will help McCain win of the key red states.
I loved the show Matlock, it still one of my all time favorites. I always manage to watch it on Hallmark Channel frequently, as well as Walker Texas Ranger.
AB-
Greg Kelly is with the local Fox affiliate in NYC. Hope this helps.
Did you all hear about that guman who opened fire at a Tennesee Church? 1 dead, and 8 people were wounded? Its really shcoking, a Church should be a place for worship, not for people to be in danger.
Plus a fan was seriously injured after plunging 25 feet from the handrails of an escalator at Shea Stadium during Saturday’s New York Mets game, police and team officials said.
Any thoughts?
How can Obama recommend a surge in Afghan while saying the Iraq ne was not useful.
Political expediency… that is how!
Alyson,
Glad to see you are on the show to bring a little maturity hopefully. I complained a couple of weeks ago about the juvenile behavior of all the hosts and now it seems to have gotten better.
Alisyn,
glad to see you on weekends at least. I like your two cohosts. I think alot of people would like to see you as the weekday host. You have a great attitude. I guess I missed the story about the new demographic group of 50 year old woman gardeners. I just turned 50…I do not have blue hair..I play tennis, golf, horse backride..am not an empty- nester, grandmother or menopausal. I am, however, a college educated, informed, concerned, conservative voter. I will vote for John McCain. I think two of your bloggers nailed the name for this group…baby boomer (which I’ve been all my life, why change now) or just smart!
Alisyn,
Thanks so much for responding to my question about your middle name. “Lane” My middle name is the same as my Grandfather’s last name. He was a great inspiration to me. He left TN. in his teens and rode his horse to Colorado where he started his own business.
I am pleased you are hosting the weekends instead of news casting. I enjoy your approach to interviews, great wit and intelligence.. Keep up the good work.
Why no call he 50 plus ladies (I am70) the Gray Ladies. Since the Gray Ladies break for McCain, it will be a poke at the NY Times – The Gray Lady
The 50’s and 60’s voters should be called the Golden Ladies. Looks like a lot of the bloggers
like that name to.
Alisyn love you on the weekend and you bring out the humor in Dave and Clayton. Like them
to and Rick also. I agree we need some personal stuff on Rick to. I am not sure but thought
on Fox & Friends awhile back that he is a new dad! Sorry if I am wrong.
Some good laughs with the news is great..
Will look forward to seeing you the next 2 days filling in for the vacationing Gretchen.
Alisyn-You’re always doing 50 milling things at once so why can’t you host on weekends PLUS stay on M-F? It’s just not the same during the week without you. You add spark which sends me off to work with a smile on my face. They might as well stop the AtSS because it pretty lame with out you one it. Don’t get me wrong, I like Brian, Steve and Gretchen but I always considered you all a four some. I’ll try hard to watch on weekends but since I care for my elderly father I’m usually getting him dressed, shaved, fed and so on at that time of the morning. It’s easier for me to watch while I’m getting ready for work and then listening on XM on my drive to the office. Can you tell, I HATE change-LOL
Just want to let you know that you are doing a great job on the FF show. I personally think you should be on at 8am also. You are very talented and quite a sexy lady. Keep up the great work.

Hi Alisyn. Glad to see you again. Sorry that we won’t see you on mon-fri. Can you let me know about the mortage bill. I understand that their is a phone number that can be called to get the mortage reduced because the payment is more than 1/3 of income. Is this true? My mortage payment is almost 1/2 of our income and it is causing a lot of problems. I missed the information you gave out
on sat or sun. Please let me know how to get some help on this problem. Again, sorry you are are not
on the weekday program. It was the only reason I got up early so that my wife and I could watch you. You made the foursome. Now, something is missing.
This was a bad change for us.

Hey Alisyn,
How about the “KA-BOOMERS”? The 50/60 ladies have the power with their block vote to blow one of the candidates out of the water (by voting for the other)
It’ll be nice to get back to the old routine; though it be for only two days.
See you bright and early tomorrow morning.
Boy, was I in a hurry or what!!!???
I misspelled your name and the word atmosphere.
Sorry
Bill
Your show is great!
You asked for a name for the women 50-60; our group calles themselves 50-ish…which means 50++ and a good name for the undecided voters could be “Foxy Grandma’s”. Love you show & wake up to it each morning about 6:00 a.m. pst. Each one of you is endearing to me and love the chemistry between you all. I especially like the “boys” on Sat. & Sun. morning and it looks like Alison is having fun with the younger set.
Best Wishes,

Alisyn:
Three things about those voting women:
1. I’m 50.
2. I pay attention and listen well.
3. I hear that Mr. McCain is well qualified, especially
with his military history.

And I’ve always wondered what happened to this
experience when he ran before?
And what has changed now to elevate the score?

Alisyn:
Three things that you hate to see change:
1. The unavailability of your favorite product at your local store.
2. Railroad tracks taken up, that have been there forever.
3. Schedules of your favorite news people.

Ain’t no wrap-
Cause we know how to adapt.

I’m going to miss you Monday through Friday. It was such a perfect blend with you, Gretchen, Steve and Brian. But I was happy to see you on Saturday morning. If you’re happy, I’m happy.
I missed the last address for free stuff I got the cruise andmassage but not the last one. Please send it to me. LOVE THE SHOW.
Over 50 voters who may or may not have a college degree but are the voters that keep this nation running!!
We are the “BOOMING VOICE” of this election. They can’t win without us!!
Tell Ratner to get a grip, I and many other of mt peers take offence, of her statement about the menopausal women voters.
It is sure great to have you back on the weekend mornings. Makes the coffee and paper more enjoyable.
Hey Alisyn,
Loved Sundays show. Especially the piece on the boy who attended Millionaire Camp. I would love to attend a camp for divorced or single women on growing and managing their money. I missed the third pillar of wealth. I have 1. Stock Market 2. Real Estate 3. ? Hope you can comment as it is allready Wed.
Thanks, Ann
I am sorry to see you or not on Fox & Friends M-F. I will miss your quick wit and your presence. I hope you had some say in this and if not, who can we complain to?
Take a look at Barack’s sign below this morning’s press conference. It says “A Change You Can Believe In”. This goes along with McCain’s recent commercials that Barack is “God-like”. We can “believe” in Obama . . . Ha Ha!!!
Obama kept me waiting 30 minutes for his presentation this morning… beyond the time I had to get ready for work. This discourtesy is probably his hallmark for the presidency – and maybe he was working out. I turned off the TV and went to work and will vote for McCain who will be there when I need him.

I don’t believe any one is against New tech for cars in the nex ten years.
That is not the rease for Drilling. it is to prevent the Embargo effect were we are trapped by not have oil to fuel our cars and industry if the oil producing countries should shut off our supply. this is the main reason for the Dill for Oil. the democrats want to keep us at their mercy. this is just not right.
Can u please explane this twitter thing
Having a strong credit score also allows you to have more cost effective annual premiums on your home and auto insurance. Here in New Jersey, most of the auto and home insurance is rated off of your credit score. If you’re credit score is poor (not that I see the actual number) but your rates would be higher than if someone had a strong credit score (their’s would be cheapper).
P.S. Can’t have my morning coffee without turning on Fox N Friends! Keep up the great work.
Allyson, I just wrote an email to friends. Just wondering if Father Morris is still there; does he know Monsignor Robert Sable, he is on the Vatican staff (Roman Rota). Thanks
I was watching the show earlier today (Sunday Aug 3) and saw the list of “don’ts” for the Chinese Olympics. If someone is caught doing one of these things (eg. streaking or getting drunk or waving an ‘inappropriate’ flag), will the government just kick them out of the Olympics? Or will the person be arrested?
What happens if an individual is arrested in a foreign country, especially a communist one? Would we see any of the human rights violations China is known for, and what would the international community do?

Earlier as I was lying in bed thinking about getting up I heard someone say Obama might have a chance to get Mississippi. There are many of us angry about our energy situation. We have pacted together to work to get a damocrat elected in the house.(travis Childers) We have also been emailing in the last couple days determined to unseat him in November because he did not scream at Pelosi enough to get a vote before vacation. We are sick and tired of politics as usual.
Obama had a chance in Ms. The democrats have proven to be no different than republicans.
Obama does not have that chance now.
Why did Obama wait until Congress went on Vacation to decide ‘maybe we can drill’
Hi Alisyn,
I just saw the segment talking about the democratic blockade to the oil drilling topic. There are a couple issues I don’t get. If speaker of the house N.P. is out to save the world, what is she doing to stop other countries from drilling off our coast? If we don’t, they will. Then we buy the oil from them. Besides her blockade on oil drilling she also has a focus to impeach Bush, can we impeach her? She is a nut.
I was wondering why no one ever questioned the Dem guests when they claim that approving drilling wont help prices now. They claim that the evil speculators are to blame. If that is true, would it not stand to reason speculators would be less inclined to buy up the oil stocks anticipating an increase in supply? Increased supply = decreased prices. Would that not immediately have a positive impact on prices?

Hi, I was watching and carefully listening to the father of Casey Anthony during his news conference this AM. He said 2 times that when asking Casey where Cayley was she said “I have told you all I CAN!” Since he is a retired policeman, I think he chose his words very carefully. Immediately, the Fox crew, in sound bites after the interview, said “Casey Anthony’s father told Fox that Casey had told him all she KNEW!” This is very different and definitely makes a huge difference in the meaning of her position. I am surprised that you would make this immense error in the reporting.

Hi, Alisyn. I’m trying to find your info on earning money while blogging. I realize I’m a little late getting here, but would appreciate a link if that’s possible.
Thanks,
