I want to thank everyone for the support and great comments about the picture of Larson and I. She is a great wife who endures a lot from being married to someone in the military.

As for the pics…really, what has been shown so far is nothing. I have an 18 year old son. You should see the pics girls send him on MySpace.

Hasn’t F&Fs been the top morning show for a while now? Why does it look like they are trying to mess with a winning combination?

As a mother of a “tween” I think that Miley is just doing what teens think is “cool” Is is right? it sure would make me uncomfotable as a mother knowing my daughter is posing for pictures like that. Then again, it was private and not meant for the public. The hacker really disturbs me. Hard Lesson in all of this, nothing is private anymore.
I don’t think this makes Miley a bad person-just naive.

there are much more important things happeing in the world than to concentrate all our time on this

I would like to make comment about the coming changes to Fox and Friends. I have been watching Fox and Friends since the first day it came on the air. You can count the number of complaints I have ever expressed to Fox News on one hand as well as the number of shows I have missed over the years. However taking Alisyn off the weekday schedule is one of the worse decisions that Fox Management has made in years. To thousands of your viewers Alisyn Camerota is Fox and Friends. Alisyn and E.D developed the banter style and the format that is used on the show today. Alisyn has a huge fan base out here who have seen her married, the birth of her twins, her son and who adore her etc.

This move will cost Fox News and the show many of its core supporters and viewers who have stayed with the Network since the first day it was on the air, through good times and bad. This is not one of those cases where Management can make the change, not explain it publicly and expect its viewers to accept it. I know dozens of hardcore viewers who will not get up early to watch the first hour of Fox and Friends unless Alisyn hosts it. This is one of the worst decision by Fox Mangement in the last ten years. It will alienate many of the origional viewers and make Fox and Friends much less competetive. With all due respect Fox News should think long and hard about moving Alisyn to weekends.

Alisyn is the reason a lot of us watch, she funny but not over the top, every day there is a smile on her face….. Fox better rethink this one or another great Fox anchor will be over at cnn…. sad, sad, sad……

LOL hahaha good job FoxNews,I hope you’re enjoying the massive drop-off in viewership/ratings by having no Alisyn and again sticking the fans with sub-par hosts for the whole 3 hours ……again.I take solace in the fact that by again dropping the ball,again making poor executive decisions,and again leaving your fans completely in the dark that you’ve lost between 10 and 20 million dollars in advertising in the last 2 days.

FoxNews has myriads of excellent on-air talent from which to draw.Harris Faulkner,Courtney Friel,Ainsley Earhardt,Julie Banderas,and E.D. Hill to name but a few.But do you think that the producers would actually choose to utilize any of that talent in Alisyn’s absence ? Of course not.As usual,the FoxNews ‘guru’ s would rather serve the Fox&Friends fan the same heaping dose of mediocrity by having Gretchen do all 3 hours,as if to say,we don’t care.

Has anyone else noticed that Gretchen has no blog or certainly no blog of this magnitude or import? Gretchen has a 1 person fan club herself.In short,the F&F fan has been shortchanged and cheated once again. So congratulations F&F producers for disappointing the F&F fan yet again,for not scheduling a more appropiate stand-in for Alisyn,for losing alot of rating points and millions of dollars,and clinging to the status quo like a broken life raft yet again.If any other show was as grandly mismanaged as F&F,it would be cancelled within weeks.I hope that this latest F&F debaucle is financially painful and forces F&F to reconsider their protocols.

Alisyn is the only reason I like to watch F&F. She has a chemistry with the others that makes the show work. Take her out of the mix and you have 3 very boring hours. I will go back to watching my local stations, if the future of F&Fs is Gretchen and the two goofballs from the weekend.

well i have a 26 year old daughter and i can tell you from experience that there is very little you can do to protect your child when their freedoms exceed those of other children. maybe handcuffs and chains might work…but come on really…we have become a society of permission to our children and ourselves so live with it.

While I understand that this is upsetting, I really don’t believe that this is the place to gripe about it, especially since Ms. Audra is running the blog and not Ms. Alisyn.

Fox does have an e-mail address for comments and complaints and in my humble opinion that is where we should be writing. Ms. Audra has no dog in this fight since she is soon to depart and it is unfair to put her in a position where she might have to not set up a the blog each day.

I’m not saying that Fox doesn’t deserve a good lashing for this move, if true, but Ms. Audra doesn’t deserve to be caught in the middle of it.

One other quick comment…this blog is one of the most sucessful at Fox News. it draws more comments and activity than any other blog at the Network. I have seen the blogs of your competition and Alisyn’s blog is one of the few that matches or excedes the kind of activity that is seen on others at CNN, MSNBC etc.

There is only reason for that success Alisyn…when she leaves so will all of the viewers who posts on this blog and watch the ATSS shows afterwards. It is Alisyn’s wit, charm and ablity to use blue humor to pefection that make us all such die hard supporters of Alisyn and Fox and Friends. I do not like others on the blog criticizing Gretchen however with Alisyn and Gretchen together management has succeded in establishing a balance or show persona that enables the critics of Alisyn (which there are few) and Gretchen to watch the show together without complaint.

I watch F&Fs each morning, because Alisyn gives off an energy that fills a room. I come to this blog, because of Alisyn’s quick wit and affinity for her loyal fans.

I slept late this morning, so apparently missed all of the excitement. Did they make an official announcement that Alisyn will be going to the weekend show? Lord knows that the weekend show needs help, but not in the female department. Are Brian and Steve just on vacation? (sure hope so)

I will stick to your topic. Did you know that there is a younger version of Miley? Billie Ray had her on TV once on Nashville Star. She is about 8 years old and very articulate and cute. Maybe she is next in line.

If someone broke into her cell phone I think that is just horrible. These poor celebs have no privacy at all.

Re Disney….way back in time they had a teen named Annette who was a very popular Mousketer (sp). When she was looking too old…..read between the lines here…..a bandage was put across her to make her appear much younger. Times have certainly changed.

Once a younster reaches a certain age…they are too old for Disney anyway. Maybe she has reached
that point. I would not want any pictures like that of my daughter on the internet got sure. She is still underage and her parents are responsible for her in many ways.

I have not talked to Alisyn about the question of her position. All I know is that she is on vacation and will be back next Friday. I wish I knew more and had more information to give you. Right now im sure there are alot of rumors going around, but don’t worry everything will be fine!

Fox & Friends is expanding to three hours and Alisyn Camerota takes on a new role with Fox & Friends Weekend.

Beginning today, Fox & Friends First, which aired from 6-7amET and featured Camerota as one of the anchors, is being replaced by a third hour of Fox & Friends.

Camerota will be moved to the weekend, beginning July 26, where she will co-anchor with Dave Briggs and Clayton Morris. For now the newsreader role during the week, previously held by Camerota, will be handled by co-anchor Gretchen Carlson.

I’m glad to see F&F weekend is getting some help by bringing in Alisyn, that show needs help badly.
I agree with Elias,Fox has a large pool of talented people why not use them,and leave Alisyn where she was?

I find it very toublesome that we are using the words “hacker” and “hacked” to discribe this situation. The words “thief” and “stolen” are the words that should be used. It is interesting that almost no focus is being paid to the fact that this pictures were stolen. Are we now accepting stealing as an acceptable moral standard in this country???

Audra, Im sorry, I didnt mean to ask about the rumors about Alisyn, that TVNewser says this about the show, if this is true, Im sure Alisyn would of said something about it.

I wonder how many of the young teens taking these pictures will regret it later — might be hard to explain to their children. I honestly don’t look for these pictures/stories. Who cares? There are too many important things going on in the world.

Sorry, but there is just so much a mature person can say about Miley Cyrus. A lot of young kids appear to have lost the most basic of foundations that ensure a degree of modesty and morality. Cyrus is just more noticeable, because she is a public figure and was at one time considered a role model for young girls. Parents might want to start having more interaction with their kids or we will see a whole generation of children having children and being displayed on the cover of magazines, i.e. Jamie Lynn Spears. What kind of message is that sending out to these little girls that idolize these people?

I don’t remember Annette Funicello or Haley Mills showing up on the cover of teen magazines with babies in their arms back in the day…….

Ok great,but the questions in my post persist unanswered.Further,what sort of intern has no idea what happened to their mentor ? And dismisses all inquiries about said mentor with disdain and or ambivalence? If this is some private,personal Alisyn thing then just say so and much of the bewilderment and scrutiny will subside.However, leaving us all in the dark with only rumors and F&F’s track record of epic failure with previous on-air talent is a pitiful way for a “news” organization to inform their loyal fans,imho.

Fox does have a bit of a track record when it comes to on-air personalities. That alone is enough to cause some concern when rumors start flying, especially when Alisyn seemed completely oblivious to any impending changes last week. It would be nice if this matter could be addressed, before a bunch of us end up outside the studio with picket signs held high!

I just hope that Alisyn will continue to blog with us no matter what the change if there is one is assignments might be.

Chas - No, I don’t think it is Audra’s duty to answer these questions at all and I appreciate her keeping the blog going in Alisyn’s absence. What she could do is alert others at Fox, or even Alisyn that rumors are starting to snowball and it might be a good thing for someone to address those issues now.

And a fine job she does.

Ms. Alisyn did say she was going to check in and even posted a comment just like we do, (as opposed to a comment response), to see if it would work.

So I suspect that at some point she will see this. Will she address it? Only time will tell. She could very well be under orders not to say, there’s just no way to know.

All we wanted is some sort of official statement,not the same “watch it and like it or click your remote” attitude we’ve all grown too accustomed to receiving on FoxNews.The list of on-air talent that were either pushed out,demoted,unretained,or swept under the carpet is growing.And,it’s an awful pattern of success undermined on FoxNews’ behalf.In North Korea,citizens are allowed to vote,the only problem is there’s only one name on the ballot.If that is how FoxNews wants to conduct their network,in a similar take-it-or-leave-it fashion,that’s their prerogative,but viewers and shareholders beware.

For those who do not watch regularly or view the AtSS, Audra has been introduced and has been seen on camera. We appreciate her efforts in keeping the blog going while Ali is on vacation. Otherwise, there would have been no blog this week. She is a summer intern; and therefore it would be out of place for her to speak to management decisions–however asinine they may be.

Newser is reporting that Ali is going to the weekend show beginning July 26. If this is true, I wish her luck–she’ll need it. The weekend show has gone from good to awful since February. Greg has been lost to local Fox, Kelly only gets to walk through the building occasionally, and Page is still tied up in a broom closet somewhere. I’m not sure I can take the weekend crew–even with Ali in the center chair. Maybe they can give Rick a shot on the couch. That could be a start.

Sorry if this is not on topic–but this is more important to bloggers than Miley Cyrus!

I think with Dave and Clayton Fox is trying to reach a younger demographic on the weekends. Only problem with that is that audience is still sound asleep at that hour or just making it in after an all nighter. :O

What did I miss, Is there an official annoucement on Alisyn? I will miss her in the mornings, if she is transfer. She will survide what ever she does, Alisyn is a winner. Regarding Miley, why can’t our show business teenagers be just teenagers, instead of Hollywood makeovers, making them grow up to fast. Where is morality?

_Lastly_(I promise)….. I am sorry that everyone is so upset today. It is the last thing I would want and I feel like the bad guy in this situation. First of all, I am not keeping any information to myself. I am in the dark as well. I am just trying to keep things going as normal on the blog so we can all still talk and enjoy the blog. Hopefully someone with higher authority than me (that means anyone considering I am just an intern) will let us all know what is going on soon. The truth is in a news network things are constantly changing and it takes awhile for anything to be set in stone. As I said earlier Alisyn IS on vacation that is no rumor…I spoke to her earlier in the morning and she’s having a great time with her family. I am not going to bother Alisyn about the situation and ask her any questions because I respect the well deserved time she has off. Sooo with all that being said I will still be in the greenroom and blogging all week and would LOVE for all of you to stick around as well! That is one thing that I can promise you is not changing

Why do we even spend time and space discussing anything Cyrus, Jolie and/or Pitt, Madonna etal? Are there no better topic? How about how BHO wants to surrender to anyone that will accept. While I agree that Fox has allowed this situation to go from bad to worse (beginning in February), I again say that it’s not Audra’s place to be a “point person”. She is an intern who is only trying to keep the blog going in Alisyn’s absence. We should appreciate her for that and not be so harsh with her. Audra, you’re doing a good job. Bloggers are not upset with you but with those far up the chain of command who have handled all of the juggling of anchors poorly from the get go. Sometimes, the blog takes on a life of its own. Looks like there will be changes–there have been changes already. Asinine changes–most of which I have not taken to kindly. Those who are frustrated should email Fox directly. There are several places that you can contact Fox without going through the blog. I have done so repeatedly since February–to no avail, but at least they know my opinion. I am, after all, entitled to one of my own.

if this is going to be an open blog then you should post all comments as long as they are not vulgar..I sent one this morning statting that I watch more morning joe than ff&f because of the change in staff over the past few years and it did not get posted…again a lot of talent has passed through fox and friends, viewrs get to like them and then they are gone with no explanation…..

You are doing a great job honey. We will definitely miss you and wish you success back at school. This has had to have been an amazing journey for you, and we have enjoyed every minute also.
Miley….hummm. I guess I am glad I am not doing “tweens” for sure. Hopefully she will survive her growing up…it is a dangerous world we live in today, and the expectation of privacy is zero. Hopefully she will get some good advice, stay on track, and continue to show us all her wonderful talent.

Hello to all my fellow bloggers and fans of Alysin. We continue to muse over it all. I am as anxious, curious….as the next. Guess we will all find out soon enough? Yes…I think so. In the mean time, I will continue to watch f&f in the a.m., as I get ready for work…yep. Now, where is Steve and Brian? I must have missed what happened. Are they on vacation too? To those who have been a bit unkind to Gretchen, I just must say, she does a nice job, I think. Her talents will get stretched if she is taking over, but then, that is part of the journey, isn’t it? I am out of the loop as far as rumors go, so there ya are. I have enjoyed this most wonderful place to be, the family of Fox and Friends in the a.m., so unless they take it off the air, I will be watching, and commenting (I know, but I will), so we hope the blog continues. I hope we all stay put for that.
