Here is an e-mail that Tony Snow had sent me after I had sent him prayer's... May his soul rest in Peace, and may God Keep his family in good health.

From: Tony Snow
Date: Friday August 10, 2007 2:26 P.M.
To: vina101_1999@yahoo.com
Subject: Thank you for your prayers
THE WHITE HOUSE
Washington

Thanks so much for the kind note - and for including me in your thoughts
and prayers.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate you thinking of me and raising my
name in prayer. Prayers have enormous power. They're good medicine - and
they certainly have lifted my spirits. I feel as if I have been borne on
the shoulders of thousands of friends, all of whom have made the ride
easier than I ever could have imagined.

We're blessed to live in a land where people just want an excuse to do
something good for someone else. Thanks for taking advantage of that
opportunity with me. Please encourage others to do it closer to home for
other friends in need. Kind words, notes, emails, and small gestures
have a way of lightening the load, while making our own lives richer and
more rewarding.

Again, thanks for the incredible gift of caring.

God bless,

When I had first heard about Tony Snow's illness, I had sent him a prayer, and he was so nice to have sent me back an e-mail to thank me. And... now, he is gone... God be with you Tony and may God bless your loved ones who LOVE & Miss you! Here is a poem I wrote...

I Wish...
Copywrite©By:LavinaBurgess

I wish...
Upon a star, thats so very, very far
I wish...
I could stop the pain, from one's broken heart
I wish...
I could cure, the empty minds, who lost their very thoughts
I wish...
All hate, would turn to love, before we leave for the heavenly gates
I wish...
All babies, to grow up strong.... to be healthy, and not do wrong
I wish...
For Angels, to guide our soldiers, to keep them safe and bring them home
I wish...
All painful diseases'... to go away, and cleanse all souls this very day
I wish...
The clouds, that give us rain, will forever... make this earth so very green
I wish...
The sun, that shines so bright... will forever bring sunlight
I wish...
This wish, I wished tonight... will always be the wish, I wished tonight!

Here is the e-mail he had sent back to me...

About Tony Snow, the main thing abouat him he was a Kentucky native, which makes him a good person right there. The other factor was that he lived a long time in the Cincinnati area, another positive fact. He will be missed!
Love to his wife and children

Obviously, I missed an announcement about Alisyn moving to the weekends, but I am glad to hear it! I have been watching other channels on the weekends for the past few months!

Audra, you have done a great job of keeping the blog going. I hope you have enjoyed your internship and that you have a great career - you have learned from the best!

And to Marshall G - the passing of both Tim Russert and Tony Snow in one year has been too much for me, too. We have lost two great political watchdogs.

I was not bashing on the man Tony Snow. I did not even know this man and therefore would not bash on him one bit. I am bashing on all the mindless twits that sit on these blogs for hours and day and feed into everything the media says. If in fact you are so much for insulting someones mind, maybe you should pulls yours out of the medias ass' and start thinking for yourself a bit, and get off these boards and go out and live life and look around and see what this country is coming to.

Gini-

I dont know why, i thought people would come together no matter what during a passing of a wonderful human being. They could at least set aside their political thoughts and opinions to remember and honor him.

I think if everyone watches FNC, no matter what changes happen in the future, viewership will be just fine.

And you are right, everybody here is really smart and intelligent, including you.

Take Care.

I was born in Kentucky as was Tony Snow, but I never heard him until a few years ago on Valentines Day. I think he was filling in for Rush Limbaugh. He said he arrived home very late the night before and found on his kitchen table alot of Valentine goodies from his children. Unfortunately he had not gotten his wife Jill a card so he went downstairs and began writing a love letter to her. That Valentines Day on national radio he took the time to say he loved his wife Jill in so many ways he couldn't put it into words. I was so moved by this man he spoke so in depth of his love for his wife and family. I never met Tony Snow, but I hope someday I can meet Jill. I know she too is a lovely person.
