Concerning the Obama photo op, of course it is an issue, the fact that you made it a lead item this morning that his volunteers purposely did not invite her into the lime light shows how sensitive it is and how careful everyone must be these days on both sides of the isle. A couple of examples. Fox was the first network to bring up Obama’s middle name with a shock and a wink at his heritage and one of your more popular guys, Sean Hannity tried for several weeks to make something of that until he and you realized it was getting no traction. The moveon commercial reminds me of the nuclear commercial from the Goldwater days, totally unfair to Mc Cain but lets face it having troops in Germany is not the same as Iraq. In fact I do not know why we are in Germany anymore unless we are afraid that their nationalistic fervor will re-ignite if we leave. It is a great political season let the battles begin. One more comment you are not any more fair or balanced than MSNBC is…face it…

And good morning. It is a glorious day here..the sun it out! Pool time, yes it is. We want to first congratulate Jimmy on the birth of his grand daughter! Big smiles all around for sure.
Condaleeza Rice is such a smart lady. I would “sprint” back to Stanford too. She has been maligned regularly for her wonderful public service, and has done her job with grace and honor. Yeppers, I’d get the job done, and then go home…for sure!
Now we continue the talk about drilling. On my! Well, we learned nothing on that little segment, as they talked over each other. We continue to hope they do lift the moratorium on the drilling and in the mean time we all need to get very pro-active with our representatives. Before we go on the deck to enjoy the sun and water, I am going to at least sign the petition for drilling on the site given to us yesterday by Mike Malone. I will then find the numbers I need for the phone calls, and do that task. I will then compose my thoughts, buy ink for the printer!!! and get that task done, and the letters in the mail…and last, but not least, follow up with an e-mail to said representatives. Let’s get tuit folks!!! lol This is our country. land that we love…everyone sing! and let’s get this done!!!!

No time for the important business of government. And of course, planning their next trip over seas to talk with the enemy. They have VERY important things to do after all, so we allllllllll need to just settle down, and let them do it. After all, we don’t have a brain and couldn’t possibly know what is good for ourselves, much less the country. lol

B of A is agressively lowering peoples credit limit ( SENIORS IN PARTICULAR) with no lates ever , stellar payment history , lowballing appraisals and raising interest thru their new partner Countrywide , changing the rules on cash out .AT THE SAME TIME GIVING CREDIT CARDS TO ILLEGALS that will end up being paid by the taxpayers when they default .

When is Fox News going to come clean about (or at least explain) what happened to E.D. Hill? It looks like she lost her show because of the unfair left-wing web thrashing she got. That would be a crime to not stand behind someone who’s done so much for Fox News — or is this just a taboo subject?

Years in jail for hacking the school computer to up the grades…hummm, must ponder. WHAT??? and YIKES again. And the ridiculous continues…but, if he is “white”, off with his head, I say! and slap him in jail to make those numbers for the jail population even. Gotta get more of those “white boys” behind bars after all.
If he is that good, they should recruit him NOW, to work on finding the really bad guys? I know, what a really stupid idea, but I have wondered why they don’t use the talent of? A stupid prank, but then, dead people vote, and live people vote multiple time apparently, if they have a house in multiple areas? Our representatives are getting “sweetheart” deals from anyone for everything…seems that this is not a very important thing? After all…the TEACHER should have hard copy of? When opponents of drilling say it won’t help because it will take 5 to 10 years to get the oil. Why do you never ask them “What solution is there that will not take 5 to 10 years?” They never offer a counter solution other than the vague “alternative energy”. How long will it take for alternative energy to affect prices?

Good morning Alisyn. Why are we covering yesterdays news again today? The bank robbery and the physic, though somewhat newsworthy, were covered yesterday and with all that”s going on across the country’s mid-section it seems that there are more life altering issues to cover. This is the first time I have ever blogged so this question may be in the wrong place so please excuse!

Sorry to hear about E.D. She has a pert personality and is a good interviewer. Has Fox banished her to a remote iseland to keep Page company?

You would think that with Alisyn’s background at America’s Most Wanted she could find Page, E.D. and Laurie Dhue!

Add E.D. to the long and growing list of those being sent to the broom closet with Page (i.e., John Gibson, Greg Kelly, Kelly Wright), while bringing on line an absolute treasure trove of airheads, stretching shows to 2 hours that should only be 1 hour shows and adding hosts who can be heard on the radio every day (or will soon be back on). Sorry Fox, but my viewing is decreasing–not increasing.

Tim has a point. You did protest rather vigorously during the BHO segment about his Muslim supporters. Just sayin’.

You said this morning that Obama is a Christian. If he is, he is the first one I know that says there is more than one way to God. True Christians believe differently. We believe what the Bible says, that Jesus is the “only way.”

Just the threat of drilling domestically seems to have kept prices stable yesterday… Drill and increase the supply, BUT let’s not forget other alternatives as well.

It will take about 5 years for the new production to reach land if it is about 160 miles off shore. Also depends on how close the nearest pipe line is to make it quicker. I worked off shore about 20 years as jobs came in all over the gulf. But we are not getting any closer, the longer we wait. All the people who work in the oil industry knew when they shut all the drilling down we would be at risk. This is not rocket sicence. I also herd this morning how bad Bush filled the oil co. pockets, by a Sentor!!
Hog Wash!!!. The goverment makes 15% and does nothing but bash Bush!!. Also the Federal Goverment wants to bring the oil in to shore and not allow the states to make anything.

Alisyn is very willing to let messages that are critical of her to be posted. In fact she is the only one that she allows to be criticized in that manner.
Alisyn is way to nice to her critics that often take cheap shots and twist what she says, reading subtext in and making accusations against her that are not true. Too nice to a fault.
So while you are criticizing her for something you should also be thanking her for being so willing to allow you to criticize her on her own blog.
It takes a real lady and someone of convictions to allow what Alisyn does to be posted here when she could kill it with a mouse click.

I wasn’t critical of her. I simply said that I disagreed with her statement this morning. She said”Obama is a Christian.” I disagreed with this because Obama has said that there are many ways to Heaven/God. I stated that “Christians don’t believe that way. We believe the Bible which says the only way to Heaven/God is through Jesus.”

Julianna – This blog has some filters set that block some comments. Several proper names (Ali’s compatriots) are screened along with the obvious expletives. That will get a comment tossed out or put in the cue for moderation.

Hey, let’s be careful that we aren’t just going to drill. Having lots of oil won’t matter if we can’t refine it. Yes, we need alternatives. But, there’s no way we are going to be able to get rid of gasoline and diesel engines in less than 5 years.

Julianna, she has to say that, the Obama campaign (meaning the mainstream media) would have a cow. I saw a video on Youtube that was a compilation of Obama’s comments and audio from his book. Did you all know that his dad was a black panther, or at least a follower of Malcolm? The more I read about him, the more afraid I am of him.

It isn’t up to Alisyn to determine if Obama is a Christian or not. She was simply saying that he identifies himself as a Christian as opposed to being a Muslim as some are accusing him of being.
Perhaps Obama was taught that there are many ways to Heaven/God while he was at Trinity Church in Chicago. The Rev Wright certainly seemed to be teaching and holding many beliefs that are not in line with what many other Christians feel is the Christian philosophy.
I have seen Catholic Priests and ministers of many different Christian denominations argue over this point. Like most of religion, what one holds to be true and unquestionable is questioned and considered a open topic by others.

I usually blog in Gretawire – but I wanted to make a comment. I watch Fox and Friends every morning.
What bothers me is the way Allisyn stands reporting the news. Please don’t get me wrong, but when you stand with your hip out, leg stretched out, it is very unlady like. You are an attrative young mom. Please try and stand a little more graceful. The other thing is when Gretchen is sitting, please tell her to keep watch on her skirt. Sometimes it hikes up very high and that looks terrible. I’m sure some of the men who watch love both you and Gretchen.. but please do not use your attractiveness to attract viewers, your both to good for that.

I wish ED Hill’s afternoon show could possibly be bought back. It was a great way to spend my afternoons. I know she made a mistake and said something stupid, but she apologized, and shouldnt be held accountable for it anymore.
