This is why I love you guys. Totally unpretentious, just normal people.
Gretchen thinking that Edwards had said that there were 2 Americas, thong America and non-thong America, was the funniest part.

I just barely got a chance to view this piece of your after show show, very funny.
first, let me state that, I too wear biker shorts when working out but I typically wear some type of shorts over them and those spandix are not visible, nor should they be unless you’re holding a small pytyon in your shorts and trying to show off. Either way, the purpose should dictate the attire!
As far as thongs on women are concerned, I guess I’m just old fashioned and prefer the bikini bottome type underwear on women. Again, certain clothing has its time & place so its not that I don’t like to see my lady in a thong, just not in public. There’s a certain sensuatlity and draw to a sexy woman that carries herself with class, knows how to dress with taste and reveal just a tad, enough to conjur that entense desire in a man, allowing the desire to grow entensely throughout an evening of romancing. There is nothing more attractive in a woman than her class, sensuality, strength, dignity, and most importantly, her self respect, that’s what drives a real man crazy.
A few examples: Raquel Welch, Sofia Loren, a young Liz Taylor (my first love when I saw her in Cleopatra), and of course, the lovely and most desireble woman I know, Julie Banderas!

Hi Aly,

I am old enough to have been quite impressed with well-shaped and proportioned guys of my era (1970’s) wearing speedos. I was very sad to see the advent of those baggy long-legged so-called swim trunks that are currently in vogue. I even find myself wondering how basketball players can play efficiently with all of that extra fabric in the legs of their “shorts.”

I applaud Steve for wearing the efficiently engineered swim garment that he showed us on the atss. He is in shape and need not be ashamed of his physique. Mrs. Doocy is smart for her choice of swim wear for her husband. I frankly cannot understand the younger ladies being such seemingly embarrassed prisses. Good grief, why would you rather see good looking men in oversized, gaudily printed and tasteless shorts (very close to what our ancestors were forced to wear in the Victorian era) rather than something that actually flatters the man in question and nicely shows off his fine attributes??????? I certainly don’t see the women hesitating to bare every possible square inch - in swimming, basketball, track etc.etc. Why shouldn’t the men do the same?

Glad you’ll have a few days without your female colleague. If she were so cold, why didn’t she leave as promised? Guess she wants to be babied - no wait - she really wants to be “feisty” then pretends to be offended when someone comments on it (like Brian, yesterday). I guess her role is to try to make the guys look stupid - sadly it backfires on her everytime! Too bad correspondent William L. in Illinois/Iowa wasn’t accurate when he tossed back to “Steve, ED, and Brian.”

Chalk me up as still not sold on the new personnell (but I do like you, Aly!),
Carol

Good Morning All:
I am a huge fan of the show and have been for some time. It all started when i had my first child 6 years ago this is when i became addicted to your news. Anyway… just wanted to ask a question about Alisyn’s gray suit she was wearing today 6/18/08. Please if you can let me know who it is by and where i can find it.

Thanks so much for your help.
Warm Regards,

Another great After Show Show! I think we can all appreciate you all putting the thong in the ASS. :)

I suggest for Thursday’s ASS that the girls talk about, and demo their swimsuits. Fox is supposed to be ‘fair and balanced’ right? LOL

If Maureen the makeup babe, is going to show pictures of Jayhson in his speedo we better get to see some pics of Maureen in her bikini, to “make up” for seeing Jayhson, Right Maureen? :)

Three occasions to wear safety glasses:

1. When you’re doing lawn work.

2. When you’re drilling something.

3. When you’re putting on your thong.

Alisyn,

Yesterday i was getting worried when Brian and Steve came on for the first few minutes and you were nowhere in sight. I thought maybe you werent feeling well again or you stayed up late watching the Celtics game. And because of that you decided to take the day off. But you instantly reappeared before my eyes :)

Congrats to your Boston Celtics for winning the first championship in over 20 years. It was a much deserved victory.

I hope you will make some time out of your busy schedule to catch the Celtics celebration parade at 11 this morning. Maybe you could go there and do a report for our viewers live? :)

I missed the Thong session, have tried to wear one, very uncomfortable, and
really bad if you have a bladder problem.

Talking about thongs can be very cheeky.

Ok now.. haven’t you seen the swimming events at the Olympics. All the swimmers are wearing the long bike short like swimming suits. Some of them even wear the entire long sleeve and long leg swimming suits like they are going scuba diving or something.

Steves shorts are bike shorts and I also sometimes wear that when in a pool. I hate the sloppy baggy swim suits that go past your knees, you might as well jump in the pool in jeans for that matter. Also I like some sun on my legs, especially after such a harsh winter in upstate NY.
Now as for Thongs….I will never wear a thong, nor do I like them on women. They are just not sexy, and many women who shouldn’t wear thongs wear them. Also thongs are not good for womens health, as it can cause bacterial infections & yeast infections.
So give me a woman with non-thongs !
You guys are great ! Well, except for Monkey Boy ! lol

All of the comments we have heard about the price of gasoline. I live in Maine and my fuel oil company said it will cost me $4.69 per gallon this year to heat my home and last year we used 969 gallons. We are retired and live on a fixed income. We will burn a lot of wood this winter, but we are fortunate to have some trees on our land that we can cut and burn. What about those people who do not have fireplaces or cannot afford wood. The price of a cord of wood has doubled. I quit worrying about my car and am more worried about heat for the winter. This is not about your discussion, but it is very important. My husband and I watch the show a lot and enjoy listening to you.
