Wow,

What a set of lungs on the new intern.

don’t worry too much Alisyn, I’m sure you have a good dentist and since you’ve never had a cavity, a small procedure (typically not painful beyond the initial shot) will fill in the tiny hole and you’ll be just fine.
I have many regrets but none bigger than not having taken better care of my teeth, it is the first thing I notice on all people.
You have a gorgeous smile and I wish I could smile like you guys.

Thank you ! Unscripted humor today was at its best. Congratulations to the christening of “The Big Picture” and long may it reign and serve all who stand before it. Lets see based on the today’s madcap episode:

1) Congrats to Audra; She clearly like many others has the market proven Fox credentials plkus she gets to be trained by one of the best and most decent people in Alisyn;

2) Thank you Brian for no doubt adding to the depreciation of modern higher education and furthering its eventual demise. A recent “Weekly Standard” said something about this phenomenon
about a “bad year in the honorary degree circuit.”
Good luck on your address; I did one for our faculty two years ago and its still being pointed to (unexpectedly a short brown-out power failure cut all lighting) at the point in my speech when I was with hands raised invoking praise for the grads. Steve’s / Ali’s right do you really think they care—no. But you’ve still got to go on–its amazing here he’s addressing a national audience of millions and he’s worried—-literally found speechless—”Speechless in Syoset NY”

3) Poor Alisyn and her cavity– They used to check out horse’s health by looking at their teeth an gums. According to Hollywood past (see early in the movie Captain Blood (Warner Bros 1936) indentured slaves also were valued in this same manner. You may be old but your not yet over the hill. In the closeups today you looked literally half- your age. Don’t worry Alisyn you’re tough and annesethics have come a long way since steel rod or bullet bitting. Between Ali, the camera man and his feed, and the antics on screen (That’s right–Lets go Mets) This had all the elements of the Marx Bros. WOW, what a show. How are you going to top this ?????? What does Audra have to say now–she probably believes she’s working in some kind of asylum. (I feel this way also sometimes–perhaps this is the way to cope and get through the day)

Thanks again for a good week of programming and being there for all of us.

Sounds like root canal to me. sorry. It isn’t that big of a deal though. I have had lots of them. Lucky you that you have been problem free with your teeth so far. No braces either? I read these blogs every day and it’s funny how you have such a following of friends. I haven’t posted on here but once or twice even though I do read them every day and notice the same posters each day. Anyway, I love all of you on Fox and Friends and not a day goes by without all of you. Thanks for your wonderful news show.

No worries, AC. My second cousin, twice removed, has a friend who dates an out of work mason who just got his dental degree and is seeing patients on the side and I’m sure he can see you right of way and fix your tooth. If you pay cash you get a better deal. Let me know when you want to hook up for an exam.

Hmm, it isn’t sensitive to hot and cold or sweets. Don’t believe that is a cavity. I think you’re in line for a root canal. I’m an old pro at those and they really aren’t bad and you won’t miss a day of work (sorry about that-LOL).

An attractive young lady went to see her dentist. She sat down in the chair and started fidgeting nervously as the dentist began sterilizing all the required equipment. When he asked her to open her mouth, she screamed so he tried to calm her down but the lady soon became hysterical. Realising that the dentist was losing his patience, she said, “Oh doctor, I’m so nervous. I hate dentists. Why, I think I’d rather have a baby than have a tooth drilled.” “Well Miss, better make up your mind fast so that I can adjust the chair accordingly” replied the dentist.

A woman goes to the dentist. When he bows to begin to work, she makes a grab for his private parts. The dentist says, “Madam, I believe you have taken my private zone.” The woman answers, “Yes. We’re going to be careful not to hurt each other, aren’t we.”

Alisyn,
That is so exciting about Big Blue, we drink Big Red here in Texas a lot. There is a big red cake to die for! The moistest cake I have tried, I got some the last graduation party I went to!

Three things that Alisyn will be doing shortly:

1. Heading towards the weekend.

2. Anticipating time with the kids.

3. Making a dentist appointment.
==================================
Quickly in and out-
Painlessly, no doubt.

Alisyn, I had one for a few weeks, I went and got some DenteTemp to fill in, till you go to the dentist, it works its almost the same filling they use, just not as strong.

Alisyn,

May I suggest for this weekend’s video rental you pick up “Little Shop of Horrors”. I think you will particularly enjoy Steve Martin’s performance in the movie. :)

If you want something different how about “Marathon Man” with Dustin Hoffman? Lawrence Olivier gives an Oscar nominated performance. I am sure you will have a special appreciation for it.

Questions your dentist should ask you–what causes the pain (hot, cold, chewing, spontaneous), duration of pain, type of pain (sharp, dull, lancinating, specific area, diffuse), habit history. An exam with one or more radiographs (X-rays) is necessary to arrive at the correct one of the many possible diagnoses.

Alisyn,

i hate cavities. i always think those things can be prevented. if it isnt bothering you that much maybe you should just let it go. i always dread going to the dentist, even for a small procedure.

Comment by Kevin, PA

I’ve had a missing filling for several years now…but business is so far down in the tank I haven’t the money to get it looked at…and my son’s cancer treatment has tapped out our reserves…we haven’t even got the money to pay our Fed. taxes yet.

Good luck with your cavity.

You are a shoe-dangler, which is lots more exciting than a tooth-decayer. Remember this.
