It was so refreshing to see the attitude he and David A took during the last competition show. Millions of teens and other age groups watch this show and they were BOTH a great role model. This is what we need to see instead of the nastiness and poor sportmanship that is so often the case.

If I could ask him a question it may be how was be able to maintain his intregrity thoughout and competition and will be be able to do this as he becomes more famous???? He is a class act.

chas – That was my exact routine when my three were all little guys. We would load them up at night and 10-15 minutes down the road they were out. Great during the drive, but when you get to your destination they are wide awake and ready to go and your arse is dragging across the parking lot. lol

I use to like fox and friends but the more I hear Steve Ducey bash Barrack Obama everyday the more I dislike the show. Steve, Sean Hannity and Carl Rove are racist and can not stand the idea of a black man being president of the United States. If Barrack is the easier candidate to beat then why are they trying to derail his campaign. Fox says NBC is in the tank for Obama…..Fox is in the tank for Hilary. Brian is the only one on the show that keeps his personal views aside and gives a fair and balanced opinion. I know Steve has had friends and relatives that used the “N” word and he did not disolve his relationships with them. What a hypocrite.

off topic: I think Gretchen should have had the day off. I love watching her and the show but I had to change the channel because her voice was too hard to listen to today. Eekk!

FOX SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT! Simon Cowell predicted David A. the American Idol winner by a knockout based on SONG CHOICE nothing more. As far as I’m concern the song choice that really mattered was the 3rd round. True to form David Cook breaks the norm had his eye on the gold by a showing a journey of progression The first two rounds were really decided for them. Not that it matters now, I think the second round was a draw given that both David’s did great with 2 of the 10 nonwinner songlist chosen for them by the producers because it showcased two completely different talented artists.

Many news reports and press releases seemed to be a bit gleeful that Simon’s prediction was sooo off. Hate to burst that bubble including FNC (which is the only news channel I watch by the way). I happened to catch Simon Cowell’s interview on the Ellen DeGeneres show the day before the Finale while channel surfing. Guess what I heard? Simon was asked by DeGeneres to predict the winner without hesistation he called it for David Cook.

I wonder if David C. even knew about the DeGeneres interview?

Ask him if he was skeptical or disappointed by Simon’s song choice Roberta Flack’s “First Time I Ever Saw Your Face”?

If he had any doubts at all I thought that it was one of his best performances.

It appeared to me that idol is just a popularity contest in the end. I tuned in on the last night, watched the other david blow this guy away with his 3 songs WOW !!!! and he didn’t win. I just changed the channel……..
