Thanks for posting today’s AtSS, but what about the AtSS from Tues, Wed, and Thurs?

Good afternoon…the day draws to an end and the sun has come out, and we are to name the monkey? And not cupcake? That is a great relief! I would not vote for that at all. Must ponder name for monkey. Will ask the children and neighbors, and all the people calling on 800 re: the car and Medicare and other frivolous things, trips won, radio calls with listen between the hours of, and you will win 100 dollars…yep! lol

Obama has been on the air all day, defending an attack that may not have addressed him by George Bush.

Ever notice other than his anti Bush reteric, when he speaks on issues he stutters….lot of uh…oh…and ah’s……

This seems to be a sign of attack with no substance in reason, just as his positions have no substance or reason.

This freshman should not be in the game with seniors, as his roots are unkown….is he a socialist….or a contra, or a sandanita….or a real American….that remains to be seen.

Thank you for fair and balanced.

Wow, I have been out of touch! Monkeys, cupcakes and naked girls on the AtSS! I will have to watch that if I can get the streaming video to stream instead of stagnate.

Regarding Open Blog Friday, May 16, 2008:

1. President Bush’s speech in Israel. Was he referring to Barack Obama’s foreign policy?
A. Jimmy Carter
B. James Earl Carter
C. Mr. Car-terr (Think Welcome Back Karter)
D. All of the Above.
Answer: D.

2. Tennessee Republican Party campaign ad against Michelle Obama: family member’s fair game?
Answer: I think that any U.S. American that has access to a microphone and TV cameras, not just cell phone camera, and announces that “…for the first time in her life (40 years) she is proud of her country” is FAIR GAME. Especially if she expects to be a Dual President.

3. How about those t-shirts that 44 seniors from Livonia Michigan wore that say, “Puschin’ it to the Limit. Class of .08″ Should they have been suspended, banned from their prom?

Answer: Yes AND their diplomas withheld. They clearly do not know how to use Spell Check and they would fail the Culture Quiz because the title of the song was “Take it to the Limit!” America is in academic and cultural decay.

P.S. I met a former host and star of Fox and Friends! None other than the Great Kelly Wright and his wife Loretta! I think I annoyed them because I kept gushing about “Her HOTTNESS” herself, Alisyn Camerota.

Following up on Mr. Doocy’s thought, I assume the monkeys name will be Spanky.

Will Penny…I have missed your comments! Where have you been? On the hammock with the fire pit? I looked in here this morning at 7a, and there were no comments. Should have checked back it would seem. Life got in the way today, so I am just back to look. I will definitely be looking for you and your great comments that make me smile and think! :)

Three things that happen when you stay away for a bit:

1. The politics change.

2. Steve and Alisyn are their usual funny selves.

3. Brian has a monkey?

Name it Mamoo-
It was the name of the first

M.E., where have you been?

Comment by Jay from Australia

Hi Alisyn,

Obama is blaming Fox News again for his woes, this time his polling numbers in Kentucky:
http://www.mcclatchydc.com/254/story/37388.html
I guess he won’t be on the O’Reilly Factor anytime soon

BTW: Has anyone checked Obama’s grades in Geography?
First he talks about 57 States, and now says that he’s not expected to do well in Kentucky, as it’s a neighbor of Hillary’s home state of Arkansas. SAY WHAT???
First of all, Kentucky doesn’t border Arkansas. However Kentucky DOES border Illinois (Obama’s ‘home’ state), but he doesn’t seem to know that.
His reasoning seems to imply that HE should do very well in Kentucky since its actually his neighbor (not Hillary’s) and he’s done well in the other states bordering Illinois (WI, IA, IN & MO).
Second, I believe Hillary was born and raised in Illinois and has probably lived there longer. Obama was born in Hawaii and lived all over the world. (Obama…Buy A Map, of the 57 States)
Or maybe Obama believes Illinois ends at the Chicago city limits.

Good morning Alysin,

Just up and first cupa is poured. The SNL was very funny. I need say no more Jay. Good post!
Good morn Dog. Ted K. continues to recover and no cause found yet? Could be life style is catching up? or would it be, caught up? Yesp, I think so. The gas prices continue to mirror the price of basics, to no one’s surprise, as this has always been the case. lol

Comment by Virginia

Alysin,

Ah! A pin out with the 57 states! You look lovely today, and good morning to Steve, Brian and Gretchen also. The sun is out and we are ready for the week. It is cold, however, and I await the global warming..hurry PLEASE!!! lol

Comment by DogOnCrack

Virginia, in regards to Ted Kennedy, I certainly don’t wish the man dead or any ill will for that matter but I won’t shed any tears if he decides to retire from his political career as a result.

Comment by Virginia

Alysin,

I would hope that is the way we all feel, and I certainly agree Dog. I don’t either. He can answer to the Man, and that suits me just fine. Retiring would be excellent as the out come!!! :)

Comment by Virginia

Alysin,

We who do not yet have a tivo are enjoying the film clips of Senator McCain. Now I wish I had stayed up and watched. Very funny. lol
Another new program for kids and school. MONEY! Well, my goodness. And we wonder why the school system continues to fail our kids, and people are moving in droves to home school or seek private schools. Oh dear! What a world..I continue to just be amazed. How about TEACHING. I know, a strange idea. Just sort of thought that might work. lol Anyone feel comforted by this plan? lol

Comment by Jimmy Adams in Pelham, GA

morning all!
As for Kennedy…it was odd how the media immediately began to concentrate on making him a national icon. While I wish him well, I cannot help but think of his past addictions and womanizing.
He has lived on the Kennedy legend for years…and a lot of it was legend.

Comment by DogOnCrack

Virginia, I went to public school during the 80s and 90s.
You don’t even want to hear the horror stories.

Oh Dog. Don’t need to hear. Experienced a brief moment myself with the kids, and many moments with their friends. I did ask the youngest one time, what he expected when he got to school. We were out to lunch for his birthday…about seven yrs old as I remember. He paused briefly and replied…I expect them to teach me mommy. Well, out of the mouth of babes, again! When he was a teen, his friend was over here. His first “class” was at 10a, but he had to be at school at 7a, and sit in “study hall” waiting. Foolishness has been the mode of operation for a long time. My kids went to private school. A good choice as it turns out. lol

Alysin,

Good morning Jimmy and Chas. lol

Comment by Virginia

Alysin,

I vote for Mamoo! An excellent name Mary Elizabeth.
Oh well, of course the money for school is a very foolish plan. Pilot program? A plan by Newt Gingrich. Hum…must ponder. lol

good morning alisyn

hope you had a restful weekend although with 3 little ones seems that would be difficult

you are refreshing this morning as usual

morning gini and jimmy and chas

Comment by DogOnCrack

Virginia, private school is the best choice.
Public school equals left wing political indoctrination.

Comment by Jimmy Adams in Pelham, GA

Dog, as a former teacher I agree…schools (under gov’t control) have become more “politically correct” in their programs…makes me think of the rewriting of history to suit policy in the novel “1984″

Comment by Jimmy Adams in Pelham, GA

And as a former teacher I have seen teachers lose more and more authority of students and curriculum….don’t blame the teachers….they don’t set policy…their hands are tied…and they are held to higher educational requirements, etc. than most elected politicians

Comment by DogOnCrack

Jimmy, I don’t blame all the teachers but most of them do have a political agenda.

Comment by Jimmy Adams in Pelham, GA

Dog, I agree….they do seem to have a political agenda on the college level…I experienced that first hand at a school meeting when we were asked not to seriously discuss creationalism as a means of the beginning of the universe…and the “science guy” refused to mention it in his classes, because he was an aethist(SP.?)….very roubling to me

Comment by Jimmy Adams in Pelham, GA

I meant to say…very troubling to me…we had a very lively debate that day…shortly before I quit

Comment by DogOnCrack

Jimmy, that political agenda is even at the elementary level.
It’s especially intense in middle school.
