You’re a hit and a Bond girl for sure. I’ve noticed that many of the blogs are not related to your story headlines, but are just conversations between bloggers. When I noticed this happening, I thought that it would hurt the blog in the future. Guess it is nearly impossible to screen without someone employed to sit and read through them all. Hope you will keep the blog going as we all are F and F followers, and especially Alisyn fans.

I will join in with the others and say again how much we love the conversation on the question as well as breaking news of the day on fox and friends, as well as the shows coming on after. I did not know any rules were being broken, but, I am new at this. Being a major news hound, this has been a lot of fun, and informative, and I have enjoyed it to the most extreme, much to my surprise, as I had never done anything like this before. Thank you for this most wonderful experience and for the new and interesting people I have gotten to know as I have convalesced with this ankle. We anxiously await the decision of the 14th floor and the gurus that live there!! In the mean time, the shyness now gone from yesterdays comments, I am glad to say good morning to everyone and you look, as always, beautiful and it is a delightful way to start the morning…

Hmmmm……. no roller coasters in my area though. Maybe they could send her down here to check out the watermelon festival, or maybe I could just take her for a thrill ride in my pickup truck…

I retired in November of last year so I have a lot of time on my hands in the morning. I am a news junkie and a regular viewer of Fox’s line up. I have never joined a blog prior to yours and the reason is you and the fellow bloggers. I have never felt “put out” or excluded from conversations. when I have something to say, I say it. Your blog is both entertaining and informative. I trust we will continue to have this venue to express ourselves. Thanks for “listening.”

I have never posted but do read sometimes. I TIVO every F&F to watch later in the day. I really enjoy this blog as it helps me look forward to watching F&F and looking for what is being talked about. I would offer a few suggestions…Possibly offer the different shows as a pod cast (or a pod cast with video). You could turn this blog into a type of forum. The main topic will be your story, and then discussions can branch off from there. This would help people who just want to talk about certain aspects of the story and not have to read all the chatter between the regulars. I’ve got plenty more idea’s ut don’t want to post a novel! Thanks for doing such a great job. You are my favorite anchor of the entire company.

A fight on the school bus..suspended from the bus, and parent wants to see the tape of the event, and has been told he may not…only district employees may see it. Hummm??? Very curious. If they are going to suspend, it would seem he should be able to also view the offense? Geezz!! They are going to review their policy…something about privacy. They haven’t had a hard time blurring faces from other events we have seen, so this is an ususual response to a perfectly resonable request I would think. I, like him, would just insist, as I would also need to know exactly what happened so as to make sure the “hammer” fell appropriately for the child as well as the community. Any time the powers that be take a secretive stance like this there is great..well giant reason for much gnashing of teeth and objections raised! Get your fat foot out of my front door and I willllll absolutely know everything that happens while my child is in your care. Smacks of evil events occurring in day care place??? Yep, it sure does. Wake up parents and have a fit over this collectively. This is not good and their reasons do not come clean in the light of day at all on any day. Sigh….I am a little impassioned over these kind of events…obviously…and did not put up with this when I was raising my own children. You will co-operate with me or the fir willllll hitttt the fannnnnn bigggggggg timmmmmeeeee!!!!

Time over seas in the military disqualifies a citizen from running for office? I must listen to this story…I think NOT even before I hear the story. What is wrong with these foolish people? That would be a rhetorical question, of course, as we don’t know and sit with mouth open in astonishment each and every time!!!!

I agree with you absolutely and am over my initial “shy” moment as a result of mentioned moments yesterday. I was exhausted and a bit whinny and blue last nite with the prospect of lost mornings with coffee and good conversation on the news of the day, Alysin and her question of the day and the fun on fox and friends, and a really comfortable hello to the familiar and smart people also on this blog in the morning. I am rested and recovered however, and wait for the Alysin to talk with the gurus and come to a decision regarding her fans and this blog.

A lot of things about this election season have really bothered me and made me realize we have not advanced socially as far as I naively thought, but it really went all over me last night hearing that Syracuse professor going off about Juan Williams. I think Juan is a very bright man and is brave enough to say things that some sectors of our culture may find offensive. But, he is telling the truth and people like that professor (that should be fired immediately) are trying to intimidate and bully people into doing things that defy logic!

My first rant on this primary day!

Pat..so true, and the old adage? Never say not my kid, cause it may be just exactly your kid. Red faces all over the place if one goes there. I always knew the capacity to misbehave within their little grasp, so was vveerryyyyyy careful not to step into that arena unarmed and ready for battle…it did not start, however, with NOT MY KID, as it may have been, so the resolution was the main event perhaps, and not the event itself, which was merely the catalyst. Yep! Adventures in the land of children and what they just might do to cause you an embarrassing moment…but, lots of really fun around the dinner table in year to come…or so my experience has been.

That is so true, and I agree that Juan is bright and his comments are smart and true. He is not intimidated at all, as he should not be. I always want to hear his take, even if I may not agree with him about any given issue. He has this one nailed, however, and I hope citizens do listen, think and discern about what he has to say regarding this election and the junior senator fr Illinois. Certainly his credentials are just as good, prob better, than the prof you saw last nite. It is prob the same kid who is on all the time, and I never agree with him and can only wonder what on earth his experience has been to make him so off the mark. I can’t remember the name of course, but, he is on alllll the time. I have stopped listening to him because he is so wrong headed and argues in circles, which makes me crazier than I already am!!!!

Well, just lost one to the gods and ghosts! Marshall! geezz! I agree and I also think Juan is smart and on point regarding the junior senator fr Illinois and the miss info about him out there. I like his viewpoint even if I don’t agree with him some of the time. The prof, if it is who I think it is, and his name escapes me, is always on and is so wrong headed on every level I don’t know who he must be speaking to? He waxes wise, but is not, always an alarming event when someone seems to be speaking for a whole community. I don’t think he reflects anyone but himself, and it is ashame he has the platform he enjoys, as least right now, and in the classroom also. He certainly does not have the credential that Juan has so he is of no importance, and I don’t watch him as I consider him not relevant to the issues and just enjoying his moment in the sun as so many are at this moment. First comment lost to the gods and ghosts, was better put to you Marshall, but, oh well. We laugh..hahahahahahah…and go forward into the breech with no fear of said gods and ghosts!!!!

Whew!!!! Well, Marshall. That is three so far as I have tried to muse with you over Juan. Suffice it to say, in that case, I agree with you on all points and what I think about the issue is in the land of gods and ghosts never to be seen again. Geezz!

Well….the gurus have been added to the list of gods and ghosts apparently and my many musings, on topic and off, are not posting. The circus is coming to town, so the angel girl is going after the twins and other children to go downtown for the parade of elephant and tigers and things, hoho! A fun time they will have, as I am stuck at home and cannot go to this most fun event! Another unexpected consequence of falling after you are twenty five. Hope the news is good. I really don’t think this place will ever become like that OTHER place three clicks forward.
I’d venture to say that at least 90% of our postings are either topic related or political in nature. It has been a great place to have clean debates with each other.
Who cares about Greta and her numbers, they’re out of control over there. They are over there for a reason, because that type of environment is attractive to them. No thanks. This place is inviting and fun. It’s educational !! We have a great hostess that gives us topics to discuss and when we absolutely have discussed it to the bitter end, then we start the spider discussions. Those have been better than some of the original topics, in my humble opinion.
So decide what you must, but things have already changed here….because negative opinion does spoil the whole bunch.
That’s a darn shame. Hopefully this place will recover and get back to what it was two days ago. There is no clubby environment, just a group of people who have enjoyed getting to know each other during several debates of different types of subjects….albeit mostly on-topic OR political in nature.

So did this place totally get crashed or what? No comments showing up since almost 11 am.? I’m not buyin’ what you’re sellin’. lol

What is happening? All of a sudden, again, I can’t get any of the news videos on Fox. I watch them during lunch. Last week, magically, they all started back up and I thought everything was fixed. I even have Foxfire. I know it is not my computer because before I went on the CNN website and could get all of their news videos. Do I have to start watching CNN now? It seems as if Fox is trying to drive their viewers away - from the change on the Saturday morning line up to Fox and Friends! Instead of worrying about the blog, maybe they should worry about the quality of their sites working and the quality of their programs.

Good idea malone, one problem though..The most optimal place for Alisyn’s cameraman on that coaster would be right in front of her (turned around of course to face her)…NOT a good idea..I believe Alisyn would agree…

As I continue to be totally cross and risk the discipline of three days with my back to the pc…..Kurtis. Me thinks thee protestith too much perhaps? Or, you think YOUR comment is the only one out there to be considered by the lovely Alysin? Your comment was not very nice. I will say no more, as I do not want to break the one rule of manners that has been such a part of this experience that has been so pleasant until a few thought they were the only ones who should be able to speak in this blog where Alysin invited all to come. I am glad you feel so special and have decided that no one else will do unless they pass YOUR idea of what should be. I thought this was Alysin’s blog, but, apparently was mistaken.

Maybe you should limit the number of times people can post on here and start up a separate message board or chat room for the people that post non stop!

A.M., they could mount a camera on the front of the rollercoaster the same as they did with a camera on the dashboard of the car.

Kurtis M., I think it is a bit harsh to be insulting the members here that are making off topic posts. I don’t think anyone has abused the site. Some people might prefer the posts be kept more on topic but if it is a problem I am sure Alisyn and the brain trust of the 14th floor will figure out a way to deal with it without ruining the community feeling here.

And if they can’t figure it out Alisyn can take it to the 15th floor brain trust for a meeting. They must be smarter on the 15th floor, right? Why else would they be above the 14th floor. Although I have it on good authority that the very smartest people are on the 17th floor, with the 18th a close second.

I don’t know how all this blogging stuff works and I’m not sure what the problem is except that some people need to get a job??

I feel that it is important for you to be able to respond to your bloggers. When I post a message I’m really only looking for a response from you. I’m not looking to debate here and I don’t think you are either. I would suggest fewer topics maybe only a few days a week. That may give you a better chance to get involved in the convesation.

I also think you should get a raise!!

im new to the blog been meaning to check it out but i recently retired so now maybe i can catch up on things…well sort of retired…i quit to keep my two grandsons that are both under 2. something tells me ill be working harder than i have in a long time but im looking forward to it. alisyn, love what you do you go girl im here for the long haul if you will have me.

Autism and Church..
We’re catholic too.. our 28 year boy is autistic as well and very loud and disruptive. He never stops talking. We never get anything out of church when we take him there. But once, I was so insulted when he was told to leave a religious education program at a methodist church that was for developmentally disabled adults.. told to leave without a discussion. It’s something that still hurts when I think about it. Churches really can’t handle this. No one can. Generally we don’t go to church. We never take him. When our daughter gets married some day…, she wants him in the wedding party but we don’t really know how we’ll handle it.. not easy.
