Alisyn: I sent a video of a “Crazed Kentucky Robin” after seeing the ATSS on Monday.
It was wierd that Gretchen was talking about it, and later the same morning we had one trying to fly through our door from our deck. Please see that Gretchen gets to see it.

Alyson, Happy belated Mother’s Day.

P.S. I still have the macaroni art my daughter made in school. She later went on to make some very crafty cards for the usual. She is grown and gone now, but her cards and art are just as important as photos. But, you already know all that. I had to learn it ‘cus I’m a guy.

Loved your Mother’s Day stories. I wish my mom was still alive to wish a happy Mother’s Day to. When she passed away my sister and I went through her trunk of stuff and found every card, every horrible looking art project, every picture colored and even pressed flowers that she had ever received from us. I hope you and Gretchen hold on to all those wonderful little things that your kids give you.

Good morning Alysin…just up and I have my cupa. I love it when the judge is on, so now I am sorry I slept late. I agree Mark, the video of the BMW ride was really fun..I love you laugh Alysin, even when accompanied by some fear? :)

Comment by Mark

It was a bit Meg Ryanish as in “When Harry met Sally”?

Comment by Virginia

Alysin…I agree Mark! I haven’t seen that movie forever, altho it is on all the time. The tornado damage is really bad…and Fla is burning! :)

Alysin…I don’t think the talk about Rush is relevant. One has one vote and may cast it as they please. I am a reg dem, and will chose the candidate I like best at the primary, but they many not be the one I vote for in the main event. It has nothing to do with what some talk show host may suggest, I assure you. Rush is entertaining sometimes, but, he doesn’t make my mind up for me. :)

Comment by DogOnCrack

I’ve never seen so much focus on the WV primary as there is right now.

Comment by Virginia

Alysin…good morning Dog…me either. This has been an amazing election cycle for sure. :)

any feedback from Alisyn about the blog? I hope no problem….conversation usually leads to a variety of topics that we discuss…hope all is well

Comment by DogOnCrack

Virginia, one of the main reasons is the lack of an incumbent.

Comment by Jester

Since Alisyn is busy this morning……………
I wish they would put a box under all the names for President that simply said “None of the above”.
trust me, here in the Mountain State, where the WV Mountaineers Football are the greatest, the Election has nobody stirred, were it not for the media, it would be more interesting to watch grass grow. *S*

Have a great day.

Comment by Jimmy Adams in Pelham, GA

love your comment Jester….non of the above LOL

Comment by Jimmy Adams in Pelham, GA

everyone must be on break…or my F5 isn’t working again….anyone there?

Comment by Jester

J A in P Ga,I just don’t think Mother’s Day Memories is much of an attention getter. Like me, others might just be surfing more this morning.

Have a great day

Comment by Virginia

Good morning Alysin and all…a few phone calls, not on break!! :)

Comment by Virginia

Alysin…Jimmy..not that I have seen. I keep looking for the new question this morning but, it has not popped up. :) I am in shy mode today because of the conversation yesterday. :)

Comment by Virginia

Alysin…Jester, they do….it is the write in part of the ballet! :) yep it’s there all right…lol

Comment by Virginia

Alysin….we are waiting for the new question of the day.
Jimmy…Chas goes to work early and I know he was having trouble with his connection last nite. :)

Comment by Virginia

Alysin…I guess my “shyness” didn’t last long!
Dog…you are right about the incumbent…that is so true. :)

Good Morning,
Alisyn and friends,
Sal

Comment by Virginia

Alysin….we are a bit lonesome and I don’t see the ones who were not happy to have to scan past what they considered should not have posted, an amazing thing to think in and of itself, I thought. So, where are they? Here is their moment, so apparently they don’t come often?? Not loyal, perhaps, fans of fox and friends and part of your adoring fan club? :)

Comment by Virginia

Good morning Sal. :)

Comment by Marshall

An Idea!

FNC could setup a Message Board for the whole of Fox and let the categories be for each show with sub-topics for individual personalities. They could select a few moderators to help control some of the most vile posts. Not an infringement on free speech and opinions, but control over foul language and some very distasteful racial comments, etc. See TruTV (formerly Court TV) for an example.

Then the blogs could become more topic driven and less chatty. Just an  that might help, but it might also take away from the personal interaction with our favorite Fox people.

Comment by Virginia

Alysin….I am going to scurry over and see if there is a new question of the day up yet…be right back everybody! :)

Comment by Salvatore

Good Morning Virginia.

Comment by Virginia

Alysin…Marshall, you are brilliant as always. I didn’t scurry yet…but, will now. :) I would only add that I will not apologize for the moments of comaradarie that have occured between like minded (or not) fellow bloggers. We do stay on topic, especially in the morning for the question of the day and then for the after show show. After, we may periodically stray for a moment, but, that is how good converstion progresses. These people who would complain I think don’t have many of those, and that is too bad. Just my opinion, of course, but I have a littttttlllllle bit of experience along these lines. :)

Comment by Virginia

Alysin and all…no new window yet with new question, and I am happy to be past my moment of shyness attached to all this ridiculous idea that one is not allowed to greet one another. :)

Comment by Virginia

Alysin…And the adoration of the junior senator fr Illinois continues. I am just puzzled over all this. No credentials and all the fleeing to his feel good messages. I guess it becomes clear why the government has stood still for this moment in time…that and their overly concern for what Rush might be saying at any given moment, of course. :)

Comment by Salvatore

Alisyn, I hope Clinton wins West Virginia big, and then Kentucky, so Obama can think about the small town America comments he made, when he insulted most Americans, and cant believe that nobody is talking about the 57 States Obama has been to in America?

Virginia - I like the chat aspect of most blogs when I am in the mood, but mostly I like to put my 2 cents in as I watch F&F’s and various subjects strike a chord with me. I also love getting a reaction out of Alisyn. lol

I watched greta’s blog go from great to the pits, because she lost control and gave in to the numbers. There are things that go on there that are bizarre and ugly to be kind with my words.

Adam Housley manages his blog pretty well, but he spends a lot of time working with it. More often than not, I only have a casual interest in most of his topics and really have nothing to contribute to those discussions.

A lot of networks have message boards these days, so why shouldn’t Fox give their faithful fans the same options?

Comment by Virginia

Alysin…Marshall..I am sooooo new at this. The most I had done was e-mail my sis and other friends out of town, between phone calls. I have, since I found out about this thru the kids, e-mailed Bill O, and Hannity, but, that is as far as it has gotten with me. I love fox and friends, and Alysin, and spent much time commenting on everything…to the t.v. of course, to no avail and much frustration! So, I have enjoyed this and the political talk and the funny or serious questions posed at any given moment. I agree with you and will comply with whatever Alysin decides is appropriate. :)

Comment by Virginia

P.S. I did venture over to gretawire, and came running back due to just that series of events. She was having a really hard time with her server and events attached, and had a lot to say about it, so I don’t think it was entirely her fault. She likes her fans too, so it will be nice if she can resolve that situation as well. :)

Comment by Marshall

Virginia - I understand, because I do much the same thing. I’m divorced and all my kids are grown and gone. They have little time to spend with their old dad as it should be. I’m a news junkie and Fox is my preferred news channel. I like to watch several of the shows and the internet gives me the opportunity to have a small voice when I see something that really gets my attention.

None of this bothers me, because I can scroll past anything that doesn’t interest me, but some people just look for something to complain about and it can get ugly at times. I just don’t want to see that happen here. Those kind of silly arguments between people on a blog turn me off and I move on looking for something different.

Alisyn will figure it out and it will all be good. I’m not being critical. Just trying to toss out some ideas that might help all of these Fox blogs.

Hey Alisyn~

Hope I’m not too late to say I loved you as a Bond-Chick! Did you say there was a car in the segment too???

Comment by Virginia

Marshall…I agree and am toooooooo old for that also. :) We will wait for Alysin to decide how she wishes to resolve the complaint, altho I didn’t see many. Got to me a little yesterday, tho, which is not at all like my usual attitude, which reflect yours, actually. Scroll past…not hard to do! :) The exhaustion attached was similar to the exhaustion re: election talk and events!!!! :)

Comment by Larry from Georgia

Hi Alisyn,
My Mom was a wonderful lady who has now passed away. The one thing I realized after she was gone was how much she loved her children. Her sacrifices and giving to me and my sister never received the proper “thank you” and now it is too late to make up for it. We did not tell her enough how much we loved her or how much she meant to us as a Mom. We always kissed and hugged, and those memories are very special. I’ve told my daughters over the years that they too will face that day, so make sure they say those words every chance they get.

Comment by Virginia

Apparently it has gotten to everyone, so the coffee and conversation is not it’s usual fun and interesting. Hum…food for thought. Apparently everyone is “shy” this morning. :)

Comment by Virginia

Alysin… Larry, very poignant and true for we who have lost our mom. She did love us best, and the feeling of lose is very extreme! lol

Comment by Virginia

Alysin…
Sal…maybe you and I are the only ones who noticed he forgot how many states there are? I am sure there will be much conversation and comments of it’s unimportance in the big picture…I think we can assume that will happen. I hope the Hill wins big too. I am not sure who I will vote for..leaning towards McCain right now. I don’t think she can get the nod, so this won’t be a hard choice at all. The Hill is not a real choice for me anyway, but the jr senator fr Illinois is definitely not to be considered at all. :)

I’m lucky enough to still have my mom and she spent this past weekend with me after driving for four hours to get here. She was talking about something and said she didn’t know if she would live to be a hundred or if she even wanted to. I told her to take a close look at John McCain’s 96 year old mom and that should give her some motivation to hang in there and take good care of her self.

Comment by Virginia

Marshall…you are very lucky. I have a close friend who is 83, but one would never know it to look at her…much like your mom I must think. My mom passed, suddenly…couldn’t get to Tex in time..the last baby..#6, was four weeks old, and she had been here for three of them. She went home, and got sick, and was gone in a flash of one week! It was so awful and it took forever to get over the loneliness and everything put so well in Larry’s comment. :)

The new question is up on the blog and that is the question. See ya over there! LOL
