I’m baaack…
Hey Everyone, I’m back and oddly well-rested. It’s amazing what a solid 24-hours in bed will do for you. So how many of you watched O’Reilly’s interview with Hillary Clinton last night? If you missed it, we’ll replay much of it for you in the 6am hour.
Oh, good news, the blog managers have figured out a way to moderate all your comments much more quickly! I know many of you had been feeling frustrated by the lag time; hopefully, this will solve the problem.
I’m dashing off in the middle of F&F today to go report on a fun assignment. Let’s just say today I may get the closest I’ll ever be to becoming a Bond Girl. Stay tuned to the 6am show for more info on this upcoming segment…

Good morning Ms. Alisyn and welcome back,
We have missed you dearly. And I have noticed the new speed at which post are showing up on the blog. It is a vast improvement.
I’m about to check out Hillary and Bill O here on the site and will get back here on my thoughts.
Again great to have you back.
chas
Well thats a thought to wake up to .. Alisyn a Bond Girl. Doesn’t that mean you will be doing something around the news room in a bathing suit, or evening gown?
GOOD MORNING,
I AM GLAD YOU ARE WELL AND MADE IT BACK!!
welcome back alisyn…. steve made great fun of you yesterday in your absence, but it was done lovingly… nice to see you and the judge this morning, i always get a kick out of the judge when he is on the show…
What did that wiseacre say??
O’Reilly tried, but, he was no match for Hillary (that is what makes her deadly). She was wrong -never did cite a real fact. O’ seemed to let her go when he was talked down. I like Bill Sammon (sp) but not his take on the wild-eyed serpent. Good job Judge. God helps those who help themselves and may we have the strength to overcome. ~d
Wrong about what? You’re not citing any facts either.
Hillary v. Mr. O,
Mr. O did a pretty good job with Hillary but let her off way to easy on a number of things. Tax increases for example, now the last time a Clinton increased taxes on the rich I paid more so I must be rich, even though I only make around 50G a year. I suspect that this increase will also effect everyone except those who make nothing. Well it will effect them, they will get more of my money.
Health care: While he hit her pretty good there he left out the huge increase in cost started back in the 60’s under LBJ and Nixon with Medicare and Medicade when cost rose some 400% in 4 years.
There is not one single thing the Government does that cost less than what they say it will cost and it often cost 10 times more, this little socialist plan will break the bank or cause another increase in taxes.
Energy: Windfall profit tax? Who does she think is going to pay that the oil companies? Yea right, when pigs fly. The only thing that will do is increase the price of gas, plain and simple. You don’t even have to understand economics to grasp that concept. Her entire plan on energy is a pig in a poke.
I could go on but I don’t want to over stay my welcome.
So nice to have you back Ms. Alisyn.
chas
She says she’s only going to increase taxes on people who make more than $250,000, so you should be safe, Chas.
Iolani Palace in Hawai’i is pronounced “EE Oh Lah knee”. The vowels in Hawaiian are pronounced like the vowels in Spanish.
Thank you
I thought Hillary made a very good showing on O’Reilly’s show and I think she will win over some independents with that one.
Rich people, put in office by the rich, raising taxes on the rich…yea, that’ll happen.
When will people learn that the wealthy use the government to steal from the middle class and transfer the dough to themselves via government contracts?…it simply dosn’t work if the government then steals it back from them. We’re all paying dumpster-loads of money for things we’ll never use and never wanted to buy in the first place…
…and O’Reilly softballed Bill Clinton’s husband, Hillary. I was disapointed he never followed up many of the issues he raised.
The numbers coming out of the Indiana and North Carolina primaries next week, because those will tell the true story of how hard Obama has been hit by his mentor’s side-show.
Tell Brooke White she was my favorite and now that she is gone I doubt I will watch the rest of the season.
Cool, the comments are going through instantaneously!
Good Morning Alisyn, good to see you, yes I watched that interview with OReilly and Clinton, I thought it was a very good interview, and America got to see Clinton talk about issues that people want to hear about, and she did good, and Clinton looked like she was happy to be talking to Bill after all theses years, it was a very good interview,
I think she likes Fox News, she was very comfortable.
Sal
Alisyn, wow this is fast.
Sal
I don’t think Obama can deal with O’Reilly’s rapid fire interviewing style. He likes to work from a prepared script, or he would spend way too much time measuring his words between questions. Let’s face it, Obama does not deal with pressure very well.
Hillary did an outstanding job last night and will win some votes based on that appearance, but the only real choice in this election is John McCain!!!!!!
Just had a thought…
If it took 20 Years for Obama to find out what his pastor was like. How long will it take him to make serious decisions for our Country???
Welcome back. Could you please ask Steve to change his tie. It’s doing that wavy line thing and making my brain ache (Yeah yeah… it’s not hard to make my brain ache, I know).
Not to be combative Ms. Alisyn, but I gave up believing what a Clinton says a long time ago.
Although to be fair, the same pretty much holds true for most polticians.
chas
I think Brian said you were out yesterday because you hurt your ankle trying to get to first base, or something like that. lol
Good Morning Friends, Just a few questions. Why has the POLITICAL bickering become the MOST USELESS information on all the news chanels? This historic year has brought out the BEST and Worst in our choices running for the highest OFFICE IN THIS GREAT NATION. The trash speeches and attacks on each other are in my opiion the ultimate degerneration of what is at the heart of WHO IS BEST QUALIFIED TO BE COMMANDER AND CHIEF OF THE GREATEST NATION ON EARTH. Obama has as far as I can see has tried to keep the POSSITIVE HIGH ROAD, but the political dirt seems to be the norm for this the most important election year ever. Why are there people out there trying to destroy any campain that has such importance? Pastor Wright needs to decide if He wants to live in this country and continue to become richer or move to a third world country where he has no FREEDOM and NO FREEDOM OF SPEECH. What makes this Pastor Wright think that he is not spouting junk about our Constitut
Hi Friends, The interview of last night was a joke. It is getting old watching the candidates try to destroy each other. It is bad enough that we have RADICALS out there that seem to want thier fifteen minutes of fame Why are the ousters trying to destroy the political process by undermining our candidates? Who does Pastor Wright think he is ? When we have a candidate like Obama, who is trying to keep to the high road and address the facts that are important to the PUBLIC like myself that makes less than twelve thousand dollars a year as a disabled person and supporting a disabled brother, I find all this bickering a waste of time and energy! When are the CANDIDATES going to wake up and figure out how to fix the problems that face this Nation every day? Why do we the less fortunate have to pay for the UGLY coments and help to keep making the rich get richer. Is there no end to the arguing between the candidates? Please keep up your fair and balanced reporting on the critical issues that we face each day.
ion and trying to blame our NATION for all the troubles in our society
Alli,
You look marrvahleous darling!. Wow, I day without Alisyn is like a day without.
I would like someone to catalog for me the “terrorism” and atrocities that Rev Wright (Rev W’s the chickens coming home to roost claim) and other Progressives profess make that proves the USA the most evil country in the world. I will acknowledge a few but with caveats:
1. Slavery. No question slavery was horrific. On the other hand slavery began well before the Pilgrams landed. Rev W and company know that or they have not been good students of history nor the Bible.
2. Breaking treaties with indigenous peoples (American Indians for you politically incorrect and uniformed masses).
When I took Accounting 101 I learned about this marvelous device called a “t.” (Ignore the fact that the ” t” could be construed as a “gasp” Cross. Label the left side “Bad” the right side “Good” (no pun intended).
When I employ the “t” in this fashion the right side, the good side has a lot more entries. Am I the only one that arrives at this conclusion.
Add to the left (bad) side Hiroshima and Nagasaki (sp). Terrible. However, I have to make an adjusting entry and put them both on the right (good) side. Why, because an estimated 1,000,000 AMERICAN lives and and inestimatable number of Japanese lives were spared.
BTW, Rev W, did you ever hear of the theory that AIDS was a Soviet invention, a bio weapon, employed by their surrogates, the Cubans, when they were conducting OPS in AFRICA IN THE ’60s and ’70s. I invite Susan Sarrandan, Hanoi Jane, Sean Penn (another person I would like to go a few rounds with – would not be fair though because I am older, craftier, and cagier. It aint right for an old man like me to whup a young pup).
Gotta go and add to Global Warming. I got a ton of leaves to burn out here in fly over country.
Love F&F1st especially that Diva Alisyn,
Will Penny
I am no Hillary fan by no means, but I give her credit for going one on one with O’Reilly. You don’t see Obama doing that.
Glad you are feeling better…..Have fun on the assignment, we’ll be waiting to see it…We saw the Bill O interview, she made the right move coming on….we still are McCain people!!!!
hi alisyn,
tell bill that he mentioned to hillary that reverting back to 1990’s tax rates would only
mean a 6% increase for him. 33% to 39%. this is political math. it is actually an an 18.2% tax
increase over his present rate. [33% x 18.2% = 6%] a tax bill on $1M would go
from $330K to $390K, that’s not 6%.
Alisyn, if you were a bond girl, I think Mr. Bond would want to settle down again! Just wear that leather skirt, and you’d have Mr. Bond so off his game he would say “give me my martini stirred not shaken”. How about an “Alitini”?
THRU: Aliblog

Excellent point. I have a suggestion for TV Land. New show: Econ 101! Maybe you could host it.
Econ 101 would focus on how working persons spending their hard earned money creates more jobs, thereby expanding the tax base, because more people are employed to provide the goods and services we all need.
Econ 101 would destroy the misconceptions of die hard Dems (most of whom I believe cling to the Dem party because their parents/family were “true-blue democrats) that Government collecting taxes takes away money from hard working people who want to purchase goods and services for REDISTRIBUTION. Redistribution does nothing but keep the less fortunate in their circumstances, and prohibits the growth of new jobs.
BTW for all you nay sayers – been there, done that, living it.
Will Penny
I had all these great comments about the Clinton interview, then you looked so incredible in the center chair this morning they slipped my mind:) But welcome back, thanks for being you, and I think Bill did handle the Senator very respectfully and allowed her to dodge a couple times. She handled the situation with poise and grace, but I will never trust her, she always performs to the audience of the day.
dave
Good Morning,
I think Mrs. Clinton did a great job in the interview and she deserves to be the nominee. The RADICAL Liberals talk about not stealing the election from Obamma;but I remind you that Dr.Dean is the one who got the rules changed to proportionate distibution of deligates. This in my opinion stole the nomination from Hillary. Thanks for listening to a senior veteran and Regan Democrate in Springhill,Florida.
Ahhhhh, Brooke White is so sweet and purddy. I hope big things come her way!!!!!
Alli,
You are a siren. I’m supposed to be adding to global warming and here I am waiting for a kind word from you. You have far surpassed the Bond girls in my book.
Correction to my first entry: The invite was for Sue, Jane, and Sean to practice with the “t.” I got distracted by thoughts of giving Sean a “smack-down.” I aint a violent person, “…I just wont tolerate rude behavior in a man (thanks Cap’n Call).
Will Penny
I think Ali has left the building……
Alisyn! Glad you’re better!
Can you interject a question to Sen. McCain? Is he familiar with the Fischer-Tropsch process of converting coal to oil? Is there enough coal to replace our oil imports? I understand it only costs $50/60 a barrel to convert it, and the Air Force is already using it.
Your fan,
Wendell Kraus, Savannah, GA
Love Fox and Friends and the ATSS, but for the past week have been unable to access it. When I click to enter, I just get a blank page that says “error” on the bottom of the page.
Any suggestions?
Good Morning Alisyn,
Sorry you felt bad, glad yo’re better.
I just want to comment on the interview with Ms. Clinton.
I’m disappointed in Bill, I think he was soooooooo easy on her. Or either he’s afraid she’ll be the next President?
But for the life of me, some of the clips I saw soudned more like they were rehearsed than the normal Factor star produces.
I’m sorry to say, but, I am wondering about it.
Have a great day.
Good morning Alysin, and welcome back. We are so glad you are healed! I just don’t need to comment at all….good morning Chas and Will Penny. Ditto…so I will not take up space, other than to say, this is awesome to have some speed on the site. Good morning Judge. I love it when you are on. Good morning Steve and Gretchen. I will only say….Steve, the junior senator is hardly a victim…pleeeeeeeessssssss!! Geraldine F is right on, and she was thrown under the proverbial bus unlike our Right Reverend Wright, who is playing politics under the guise of his collar and having a very good time in his convenient “retirement” from his “church”.
Alisyn,
I just watched the interview with Sen John McCain it was very good,
and he is a very honest man, and I think that McCain and Clinton are two honest American people, that would do whats right for us,
and we know every thing about them,
and they are the best choice for the American people to make in november.
Sal
Well the show’s complete again, and you look like you’ve fully recovered……..Hoping you’re feeling better
Ali- Great to have you back! Those bond girls should aspire to be you, not the other way around. Blackhawk Chris
Good morning Alisyn! Glad you’re feeling better, the show just isn’t the same without you. Loved your comment to the judge this am when he commented on Hillary’s cackly laugh!
As much as I hate to say it, Hillary did pretty well with Mr. O.
Have a good test drive today!
P.S. Don’t understand how Pittsburgh could be the sootiest city in America – I live in Pittsburgh, and most all of the soot creating industry is gone.
Good morning Alysin…..made comment and I don’t see it. Murphy’s Law and all that, seems to be in play with me this morning…wouldn’t ya know!!
Just said hello, and ditto to Chas and Will Penny and I love the judge and Steve’s comment about the junior senator being a victim is just not true. He is not. etc…:)
Fox and Friends’ teen-like giddiness has made the show unwatchable.
Alysin…I did watch Bill last night and it was very good. Taking the constraint of time he mentioned into consideration, I will forgive him for not delving as deeply as I would have wished..i.e. comment Chas and Will…but, overall, it was fine. One doesn’t need to see much more, as she is not an unknown. That she finally came on FOX to speak to the part of the population that probably has a brain, is good, but she is very late coming to that decision. We are about to see if the junior senator has decided the same is true. The junior senator has not satisfied me, however, there was a pastor on Hannity last night that did address this issue of the relationship between the Wright and the senator and it was very good. This pastor agreed that Wright spoke to no one but himself and did not represent anything he was familiar with and he did not approve of his message to the congregation and indeed thought it was very destructive and absolutely not godly preaching…indeed fell in the category of self serving. Very good interview by Hannity, and I am sorry I can’t remember the pastor’s name. It’s nice to know my neighbor is not harbering malicious intent from sermons heard in church!
Now, let’s see if this posts my puny musings this morning.
Alysin….there it is! at least my last post is up.
Chas and Will P…there is a marvelous series being done on your NPR station on carriers. It is in ten parts, and they are on the Nemitz. It has been very, very good. I would not, of course, have thought to watch it
. The hubby, who is a Navy vet, found it, and so we have been watching. It has been really informative and enlightening and just down right fun to watch, and reminds us all of the truly dangerous tasks that these “boys”, as many of them are, and our jet pilots, face daily. Really good series. I recommend it to everyone.
It has been a nice respite from the “news of the day” for sure.
Actually Virginia both Dem contenders are junior senators.
chas
Fox & Friends Weekends has become Dan Abrams favorite topic on his “Beat the Press” segment. I think he is a jerk and I like the lighthearted approach of Fox & Friends. If it was another drab “Meet the Press” type show I would revert to watching cartoons in the morning!
Keep up the good work you crazy guys you!!!!!
I knew about the series Virginia, but thanks for thinking of me. Truth be told I only work for the Navy, my active service time (13 years) was done in the Army as a Military Policeman.
And yea, how about this instant posting? Great isn’t it?
chas
Too much estrogen on FNC these days, and the men folk are chickified. Shperd Smith is a dunce that can read.
Back to newspapers and radio for me.
It’s Nimitz, Virginia.
Alysin…re: Marshall…I agree with you. His laid back hemming and “thoughtful” pauses, would not fit into Bill’s style at all. I am one who resents, and has from the beginning, the junior senator’s style of….you are just not bright enough to comprehend what I am saying, so I will speak very, very, slowly so as to make sure you understand what I am saying…..much like his compatriots speak to their base…i.e. Reid, Nancy…etc. Please, look at me and say what you have to say and be done with it. But, when one is not telling the exact truth, and really doesn’t have a plan, I guess this would be expected. That was how one measured whether the children were speaking the full truth or perhaps leaving something out?????
Yep…mom can’t read minds, but, sure learns fast to read the “body language”. He was always a suspicious character, and my suspicions have been realized all over the news in a continuous stream of the most amazing information coming out on this man who seeks the office of President of these United States.
The instant posting is cool, but Alisyn probably will not read each comment now before it gets posted. I guess we can just talk amongst ourselves while she is away. lol
Welcome back Alisyn. Hope you had fun on your special assignment.
I’ve watched Obama closely over the past many months and his forte’ is a prepared speech with a teleprompter to keep him on track. IMO, he has not done well in any of the debates and he is way out of his element in a one-on-one discussions unless he is fed the questions in advance.
The stammering and stuttering always occurs when he does not have a direct answer to a tough question. He runs various scenarios through his mind and then tries to choose his words very carefully so as not to alienate a potential voter. The problem with that tactic is that we know no more now about the man’s true beliefs than we did when he first announced his candidacy.
No one can be all things to all people, so they have to take a stance and convince others their views are the best thing for this country. I don’t agree with everything McCain proposes, but I do feel he is an honest man that loves his country and is willing to make compromises for the good of all. McCain is the only choice for president this term, considering just how vulnerable this country is at this point in time.
Alysin…re: Chas. My Dad is retired…army pilot. Flew those little planes that had no guns and spotted for the artillery. Was shot “down” but survived, although his spotter, and best friend, was dealt a mortal blow. He has only recently spoken of his war years, much like McCain, a private and poignant memory. My husband and cousin were in the Navy, and my brother is a Nam vet..flew those big helicopters on search and rescue missions, so I am surrounded by really amazing men. Your comments, are as usual, well said and I agree with every word. I should not be surprised that you also knew about the series. Like my husband, you are seeking t.v. programs that are a little more worthy than TLC!!!
lol
Hi Alisyn, I’m glad you are feeling better. Have fun with your “assignment” & be careful.
Alysin..re:Marshall…well said. It is pleasant to have discourse in polite, intelligent company…whether one might agree or disagree on any issue. I have enjoyed this particular blog for that reason. I am new, so my experience is limited, but, this is usually a very nice place to be.
I am enjoying the fast pace, but, appreciated the probable monitoring that was going on when it was slower. And I am soooooooooooooo grateful for spell check,
however, have probably become a little lazy in the process!
Ms. Virginia,
Sounds like you are well surrounded, my congrats and compliments to your guys for their service.
My wife tends to think I watch too much News, (guess which channel…lol), but I’d say it’s about an even split between News and entertainment.
My service time was much less exciting. I was always in the wrong unit or in the wrong part of the world when something was going on.
chas
I am glad to read that you are back and feeling better. I thought that Bill’s interview was too soft. I totally agree with Dennis Miller’s assesment which was that he let her off too easy on the energy question and the health care question.
I am looking forward to seeing tonights segment.
Have a good one.
Jim
P.S. Chase…one of those very handsome boys? I was stopped periodically for speeding…I know
..ah youth! in my cute little “51 Studebaker with inadequate brakes at any given moment!!
Usually a smile and the i.d., and one escaped unscathed with a caution to slow down. The MP at the guard station used to step into his “little house” as I plummeted past his assigned post in the morning on my way to school, with my brother in the passenger side, braking madly as we careened down the rode!!!
Boy was he glad when he got his license a year later and could be “in charge”!!!!
Ah…those were the days…no seat belts, marginal brakes, a cool old car!!! And Dad making you feel so safe, who cared what Russia was doing!!!!! I was sure he would take his little plane and blow them off the face of this earth!!
:) and amazingly enough, I still do…….:):)
Oh Jim……Miller is always just tooooooooo good! I agree!! But, Bill did mention time constraints, and other issues he was more interested in, so I thought that was valid. It was polite and was as informative as one expected. There isn’t much more one needs to know about Hillary, after all. That she came on, I think, was the issue. A large stand against Soro’s and his ilk…a little late, and smacked of some desperation, but, still ok on the whole.
Oh Chas…I am thinking you were exactly where you were supposed to be. It takes everyone doing their job to get the job done. Dontchathink??? And soooooooooo handsome in that uniform while doing it!!!
I had major crushes on all the MP’s, those I knew a little better, due to said unreliable driving
, and those we girls just watched, akin to dreamy looks in their direction?
lol
HI ALISYN,
WOW YOU LOOKED GEORGOUS TODAY AND WOW THOSE LEGS. WOULD SURE LIKE TO SEE YOU AS A BOND GIRL THAT WAY I COULD SEE YOU IN A BATHING SUIT OR MAYBE SONETHING A LITTLE SKIMPER THAT WOULD BE SO NICE. I LOOK FORWARD TO WATCHING YOU EVERY MORNING TO SEE HOW SHORT YOUR DRESS WILL BE AND TO MOON OVER YOUR GEORGOUS LEGS MMMMMM
LARRY M.

Chas……yes..they are junior senators. Correction noted. I am aware of that of course. I s’pose I refer to the “junior senator from Illinois” in that manner to remind people of his very limited experience and as I have a very sarcastic side, it is just one small attempt to diminish him even further than he has manged to do so himself. Takes a minute to actually type it, but, makes me smile….small things, ya know
lol
Dear Alisyn
Glad to have you back!!!!!!!!!!!
I enjoyed Bill’s interview with Sen. Clinton. I can’t wait to see part II.
Please, please, please! I’m looking for the story on the Girls Softball team out in Oregon or Washington state, where the girl hit her first home run ever, twisted her knee and couldn’t run the bases, so the opposing team picked her up and took her around to all the bases so she could record her home run! I’ve not been able to find it on the Foxnews website. Will this story be going up? I coach a girls softball team and we do a little devotional during practice…this would be a great lead in to sportsmanship…or should I say sportsWOMANship!
Ward
Ah….Alysin, ya watching the tooling for potential Mayday riots…or pictures of last year? What happened to the May Pole that is America’s heritage? Mayday was only an issue if you lived over seas, at which point there were armed MP guards on the bus, and other armed soldiers around to protect the Americans. Geezzz! Socialism on parade for all to see. Another reason to consider your vote carefully as we approach November. Think, listen, discern. That would be the message for everyone. Pay attention….theyrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr coming!!!!
Ward….we hope so. After all, we have been subjected to hours of film on the “fighting youth” seeking fame and fortune in a most destructive and alarming manner. I would request that at least as much time would be spent on this as on those horrible events. Hummmmm??? Probably not, much to our shame. After all…violence is the vehicle for ratings. I did not hear this story, but, one would not have to be a coach to celebrate our very large population of kids going to school and working and having a very fruitful life.

Bye all…will check back later. Am going over to check Greta wire. Last night before I went to bed, I checked, and it was very rude and not nice at all…so turned it off and went to bed, with nice images of the Carrier show dancing in my head. Am checking this morning to see if those “loones”

Geezzzz!! lol Chas, Marshall, and all fellow polite posters. I venture forth into the land of not always as nice posts, sometimes! lol smiley lines in place…forward into the breech!!!!!!!!!
Hi Alisyn,
So glad you’re back. Fox needs to put you on the couch with Gretchen, Steve and Brian. What is wrong with four? As for Mr. O’s interview with Hillary, it didn’t change my mind one bit. I would not trust her or her cigar smoke’n hubby. Osama, er I mean Obama is playing the “Rev Wright” card to a tee. I believe the whole “Rev Wright” talk tour is done for Osama, er I mean Obama, to refute and show everyone that he “totally disagrees” with the Rev. It’s done to counter the Republican attacks that will come in the fall. That’s my take.
GretaWire gets very rough at times. Greta doesn’t want to become a censor, but some of that stuff gets ridiculous!
Alli,
I’m ready to “Kirk out” (as in Star Trek). What is “Diva” a bad word. Are you imposing market sanctions on my blog entries.
This is my third attempt to post the following. It is an important scientific question for Maryland vos Savant, Stephen Hawken, or Jaime Colby. Only Brian would steal food from a guest. He should have taken the veggies though. Have you noticed that blond is prevalent on your show and both the attorneys on the factor and weekend female hosts? Things that make you say “hmmmmm?”. Regardless, keep up the good work, you saved me from CNN 5 years ago.
Off the subject- but who won the sweepstake? I don’t have speakers….
P.S. How was the car ride? go over 100 mph?

I thought the Clinton interview was a joke. I expected Colmes to jump out of his O’Reilly suit any minute. What a suck-up. It looked like Bill will do anything to get an interview. Friends feel the same way. I guess to be “fair and balanced” O’Reilly is in the tank for Clinton since the other networks are in the tank for Obama. My opinion of O’Reilly was shattered. I feel like a kid who was just told there is no Santa Claus.
Hi Alisyn
I really glad you are back.I hope you are feeling best.
Alisyn I would make a great Bond Girl.
I love your back leather skirt you had today.
I did watch the first part of the Hillary interview. I was actually surprised how relaxed she looked.
I have to admitt I am one of those folks in the middle that Hillary is trying to sway. I know I will not vote for obama… I am pretty sure I will vote for Mcain…. But the interview last night did make me believe that she should be the candidate against John Mcain.I espercially lliked when she put herself into the very RICH group of the country, there is nothing wrong with being rich, I wish I was, and If I was I would never be ashamed that I have worked hard and smart in my life.
I live in Illinois, voted for obama for office, because he had a vision and seemed to have plans for our state. Had I know it was a jumping board for his canidacy for president I would have voted differently. Illinois has real problems that he never bothered to get to cause he was busy running for president. I cannot honestly say that he has done nothing, I have not looked up his record, but I can say I feel no changes in any of the problems facing our state. My last vote for him was a waste of my time, I will not make that mistake again…. Darlene Cronin
Fox is great I really do watch your news for fair and balanced argument….
Pat,
WOW, I had to remove my hat my head got so big. Thank you for the kind word Pat. I’m not really so much all that, I just pay attention and watch too much News, at least so my wife says.

My regards,
chas

Study Finds No Cancer-Marijuana Connection
By Marc Kaufman
Washington Post Staff Writer
Friday, May 26, 2006; Page A03
The largest study of its kind has unexpectedly concluded that smoking marijuana, even regularly and heavily, does not lead to lung cancer.
The new findings “were against our expectations,” said Donald Tashkin of the University of California at Los Angeles, a pulmonologist who has studied marijuana for 30 years.
“We hypothesized that there would be a positive association between marijuana use and lung cancer, and that the association would be more positive with heavier use,” he said. “What we found instead was no association at all, and even a suggestion of some protective effect.”
Federal health and drug enforcement officials have widely used Tashkin’s previous work on marijuana to make the case that the drug is dangerous. Tashkin said that while he still believes marijuana is potentially harmful, its cancer-causing effects appear to be of less concern than previously thought.
Earlier work established that marijuana does contain cancer-causing chemicals as potentially harmful as those in tobacco, he said. However, marijuana also contains the chemical THC, which he said may kill aging cells and keep them from becoming cancerous.

Glad your back. Didn’t pay as much attention as you were gone. Rest is good.
Dr. Wright should be told to knock it off. Too late.
All this Democratic in-house mud fighting means McCain is clearly the patriach. America needs a stern father figure at his juncture.
Glad your back, I just want to understand on Hillary thing, why has she stood around and taken the comments from Obama about the Iraq vote from the beginning? She’s been spinning that like they were fooled in sending us to Iraq. Why doesn’t she just own up and say she voted to go to Iraq because we needed to and we got rid of a dictator who wanted to destroy us while Obama sits there and says he made the right decision. She should fire back at him asking when has he ever took a stand on anything. I don’t understand the appeal to his so called “change” when no ever has heard of any of his policies changing anything!! O’Reily should have pointed that out.
please tell duece that the madam hung herself not hanged

IS F&F gonna do another fan event at a Mets game this summer?
Hi Alisyn,
It doesn,t surprise me one bit that once again, Hillary,s own party threw her under the bus. While Hillary is under the bus, these so called fellow Democrats are maneuvering for a cabinet seat with Obama. If those super delegates can underhandedly do this to Hillary, they will do this to us. For their own gain, not ours.
I am voting for John Mccain, but if I were a Democrat, Hillary would have been my choice.. Mainly because of those dirty political tricks that are being played on Hillary.
“please tell duece that the madam hung herself not hanged” — Randy in kentucky
The regular past tense of hang is hung, However, there is one difference when it comes to hanging someone by the neck. In this case the past tense is hanged which means killed by hanging.
In other words, if your talking about hanging an object, such as a picture, in the past tense, then you are correct…the past tense is “hung”. But if your speaking of someone hanging themselves in the past tense, then the proper term is “hanged”…Duece is right on this one.
My nit-picking is now complete…
Taxes…Whether Democrat or a Republican you will find these statistics enlightening and amazing.

Bad Omen for Hillary?
I was saddened to read of the terrible accident and sudden death of Eight Belles at the Kentucky Durby. I believe that was the horse Hiilary told us all to keep an eye on…………?
Glad You’re Back! Can you help me with this one? I’m a 44 year old female, I have two workman compensation injuries. One on my neck and one on my back. I was also diagnoised with myofacia pain disorder. Alot of people don’t know what that is. It’s similar to fibromyalgia. It causes alot of pain in my muscles and I have bad spasms. I was seen and treated by several Doctors. I have had several sets of spinal injections, cortisone shots and medication over a period of one and a half years. That was from 1999 to 2002. After the doctors told me I had met my MMI- Maximum medical improvement, I was dropped like a hot potatoe. I couldn’t afford medical treatment so I filled for Social Security. I was denied not because of my medical needs but because I didn’t have enough quarters. At the time of my injuries I had my quarters, but because the Dr.’s wouldn’t let me work while under thier care I lost my quarters. How can you have enough quarters to get help from Social Security when the dr’s won’t let you work and . I have tried to find jobs and people don’t want to hire me because I have limitations, I have even been dicriminated against and settled that. We finally have a clinic in Crestview that basis your payments on your income. So thanks to that I am recieving treatment for my pain. The Dr. said I was bad. He sent me to a Chiropractor for treatment. He said every bone in my body is out of allignment. They have been nice enough to set payments up for me as little as $20 at a time. My Husband made less than $20.000 last year and now he’s having health problems. Th VA is trying to help him. He does construction for a living an their isn’t much work here, I have written our Governern Charlie Crist and our local Department of children and families. No one will help! If it wasn’t for family and Friends we would have lost everything we have and still could. Why is it so hard to get help when you need it? The Chiroprator said if I would have gotten the help I needed six years ago I might not be as bad as I am now. I have worked since I was 14, after my Father passed away I had to work to help my Mom. You work all those years, you pay Social Security as reqired by the law but when you need them they find any way not to help you. I have lost faith in getting any help from them even with the new medical evidence I know when I go in front of the Judge for the last time I will be denied again. I am a burden to my Husband, because even with his health problems he has to take care of my bills, plus he’s trying to keep my 19 year old son in college, whom has a 4.0 GPA. He is the most wonderful man any wife could ask for. Why is it so hard to get help when you need it? It seems to me it would be better on our goverment if they would help people get treatment when they need it so we can get better and get back in the workforce, instead of denying them help and making them a burden to their families.
