Since you’re home today and kicked back with your feet up, I thought I’d just throw out a question. Why is it against the law for those cult nuts to have sex with underage children, yet no one questions that Spears girl who is pregnant at 15, or the Cyrus girls who poses topless at the age of 15. Seems to me we have a double standard. Why is it okay for “Hollywood” to act that way, but we’re putting this cult in jail. I’m not defending the cult, they’re wrong and those kids should be protected, but we put the spears girl on all the magazines covers and make her out a queen. If one goes to jail, why not the other?

Clearly I was too late. You have been exposed to something nefarious by those two villians Snidley Whiplash and Oil Can Harry (see yesterdays pictures).

Fortunately you were in the company of others therefore, you were not bound and tied to a railroad track. I think they have forsaken that practice because the trains do not run like they used to.

I can only recommend seeing Dr. Manny. If he is not in then my only suggestion is a strong tonic and sleep. To get even with AJ taking off a day without telling you, have him come in and take care of the kids. That’ll show him.

Listened to the story on the passengers that had to leave the cruise ship because their baby was sick. Did anybody get Royal Caribbean’s side? There are lots of stories on the internet that the cruise line did the right thing.
I think a followup story should be done.
The cruise line did everything they could to help the family.

Alisyn, Hope you’re feeling much better by the time you see this (if you ever do, since about half of posts get dumped).
I do hope you get a chance to rest and recover at home, but often that is not the case for moms. We men tend to whine and feel like the world should stop when we are ill, but moms still have to take care of everyone/everything else (kids and hubby) first. I salute you (hugs of comfort) and sincerely hope you are well cared for.

Dear Alisyn…sorry to hear you’re not feeling well…you should enjoy my chicken soup to put you back in the pink…see below:

1 fryer chicken
1/2 Cup Celery
1/2 Cup Carrots
1/2 Cup Onion
1 clove garlic
1/2 tsp. dried dill
1/8 tsp. Cayenne Pepper or Sweet Hungarian Paprika
1 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 tsp. Black Pepper

Saute the Celery, Carrots and Onion in a little butter. Add the rest of the ingredients and cover with water. Cook over medium heat (about 3 hours) and skim the fat (save the fat). After cooking drink the broth (only) until you feel better.

You will feel better soon. Obviously, Brian brought back someting from his cruise and gave it to you. I wish I could make it for you.

I’m amazed at the amount of people who keep comparing the pregnant teens from the FLDS Compound with teenage pregnancy in the U.S. - ie. Jamie Spears. MOST of the pregnant teens in the U.S. are pregnant by their TEENAGE boyfriends. The girls from FLDS are pregnant by MEN in their FORTIES and FIFTIES. In modern U.S. culture this is rape and molestation. They are comparing apples to turnips.

I wanted to reach through my t.v. this a.m. and slap the stuffing out of the Fox News Legal Analysist - whose name I didn’t catch. Leave it to a MAN to decide that when a young girl begins her menstral cycles she is now physically ready to give birth. Girls are starting their cycles at much younger ages now, 11, 12, 13. Their bodies ARE NOT physically developed for child bearing and child birth. He had absolutely no compassion for them NOR did he think it was child rape and molestation if I understood him correctly. And this was followed with the report showing a child being beaten on a bus by another child and he was absolutely up in arms saying WE NEED TO PROTECT THESE CHILDREN. Well in my opinion WHAT A HYPOCRITE! Yes the child on the bus needs to be protected from the bullies but so do the children being “spiritually” married to those perverted older child rapists.

Alli is a force of nature. I have been reading the entries and the admiration for this quintessential American woman is impressive. Check it out (like Randy Jackson): mother, wife, professional, stunning, plus a certain combination of personality composed of elements of Lucile Ball and Gilda Radner.

I entered the Alishpere long before I participated in the Greenroom (I am suggesting a poll be taken for a name change to something other than the Greenroom like the Aliroom) blog. Since becoming an Aliblogger I have found I really enjoy the discussion. Imagine what this blog would be like without persons comparing the USA to Nazi Germany.

Imagine how misinformed or uniformed all would be if we did not have fellow bloggers that believe slavery is still operative, when after all it was settled 160 years ago. That does not mean I believe racism disappeared with the passage of the Emancipation Proclaimation. That would be naive and denial.

However, I was inspired by MLK’s “I have a dream speech!” I know that all persons bleed one color, not white, black, asian, hispanic, arab, persian. They don’t bleed African, Asian, European, nor Native American (indigenous peoples for the pc crowd).

Some of the controversery of late has frightening elements of hate. What would these haters have our society and county do? Engage in an another civil war? Engage in a race war? Embrace the failed philosophies of socialism and communism? Should we nationalize everything like Fidel did and Hugo-a-gogo Chavez is doing.

God gave us brains. Brains to develop cures for disease; brains for developing economic systems.

Seems to me that people better know “…the history of your country” (rent or watch “The Quiet Man”).

I have read a few remarks that BOH is the hope of America and that if he is not selected as the next President of the United States (assuming he clears the Dem nomination hurdle) that this will prove racism is the only reason he is not selected/elected.

Not so fast. BOH may sound like JFK with that poser speech pattern, his family may remind the electorate of JFK, Jackie, et. al., BUT, Barrack is no JFK {to borrow from Senator Lloyd Benson to Dan Quayle (which was a cheap shot by Sen Benson)}.

America is the HOPE of the world. Freedom and democracy are the HOPE of the world. Not
Barrack, not socialism, progressivism, not liberation theology. Free people living in a free market society in a Republic, which is also a democracy is the HOPE OF THE WORLD.

If you don’t understand what I have written (not taking credit for the philosophy, only living it) you better go back to high school, preferrably not a public one. Sorry if that hurts, but facts are facts.

Hope you’re feeling better. Please tell Gretchen that she is really one classy lady. In the AtSS she and Steve were outside in the rain and decided to move inside. Steve and the 2 guests went right in but Gretchen graciously took the time to shake hands with the fans, pose for pictures with the fans, talk to them. She could have just waved and ran in out of the rain but she took the time and probably made their day. That is pure class.

You sure couldn’t tell from your spirit that you were feeling poorly. You are a wonderful person to see each morning. Take care of yourself and hope today you are 100% better!

I’ve noticed a number of emails in reference to your legs, short dresses and feet. Sounds like you’re a “10″ with many viewers. However, I like you for your wit and mind. I still can not open any news videos on the entire Fox station. This has been going on now for two weeks. Can anyone tell me why. I even tried a computer with that Foxfire and that did not work. I can open news videos on CNN but not Fox. If this question has been answered, please forgive me, I was out sick several days last week.

I sent a reply but the jackals got it.

Here is a recap:

1. No idea how BHO will spin out of this one. BHO should have taken a lesson from the Clinton’s and Incorporated. Clinton Inc War Room is capable of anything. They dealt with the Vince Foster affair, the Bimbo eruptions, the pardons, the campaign funds (from Communist China) for favors (ICBM inertial guidance systems software), the list goes on and on. That is the primary reason they want back in TWH. They will need the Army Corps of Engineers to bury all the dirt they have created.

2. The thing to watch for (is as WJC says) “distractions.” Something major will come to pass to get the public frothing at the mouth. The “distraction” diverts the publics anger away from the real news. The front pages of the Main Stream Media and the evening news will follow the first rule of old journalism, “The media is the message.” That is whatever the talking heads spew is what the majority will believe. (Plug: One exception - Fox News Channel)

3. WJC was not the inventor of this media management. The inventor (in my memory) was LBJ. The story goes n Lyndon’s first run for Congress he was losing. He and his campaign manager were lamenting the lack of dirt on the frontrunner. A light bulb appeared over Lyndon’s head. He told his “handler” to report that his competitor was having an affair. The story was published despite objects. Lyndon won, and the next day they published a retraction and an apology. This technique was developed by the guy who had the temerity to wear “The Silver Star” on his lapel even though he never won the decoration.

Hope this one makes it. I copied it to Word so that when I get to go to NYC I am going to watch as Alli gives a spack down to the media mavens that keep despositing my entries in the digital bit bucket.

Tough to be an old fart, (like me), when you actually remember people like LBJ. As memory serves that election serve him well until JFK came along and finished him in tolkengate, in a manner of speaking. When no amount of spin could save him from the situation in Nam.

Actually, I give Obama some credit for attempting to run a clean run for office, but he should have had Dick Morris on hand. Of course then Obama would have told him not to run at all, and if he listened to Morris he wouldn’t have.

In any event, though I thought to try and kick off some debate, I cannot replace Ms. Alisyn in any measure and we are a poor group of chat without her. Not some much a commentary on us as a compliment of her.

Oh my gosh! You probably still look very pretty. I wake up at 6:30 every morning so I can FOX and Friends for 75 minutes before I load the school bus to go to school.

I wanted to ask, where are you on the campaign 2008? I personally, if I could vote, would go with McCain. He has a sturdy healthcare plan and feels the need to lower gas prices (Don’t critisize me if I’m not completely right. ‘m only 11!!!). I really don’t care for Hillary because she tries way to hard. With the crying over her opinions and critisizing over Obama. Obama is just plain insane! I mean what is up with Wright! How can we trust him if he was listening to Wright all of these years! Hillary and Obama… they need to take it down a notch. If they continue fighting, everyone will eventually realize that they are just too childish to be running a whole freaking country!

Remember how McCain said that he would fight himself in war for another hundred years. People were thinking that he was supporting the war. He really only meant that he is so concerned for his country that he would risk his own life for as long as it took for the war to be ended. I hope you and the other reporters feel this way.
