Leaving Early
Good morning Everyone. I’m not feeling well so I’m gonna head home early this morning. But feel free to keep chatting with each other today and I’ll respond when I’m back tomorrow. I know you get frustrated when the moderating is not instantaneous and I promise to yell at someone for you, just as soon as I’m feeling better. In fact, that’s great incentive.
Have a great day!
Question of the Day!
It’s Monday and that means it’s Question of the Day day (from our Department of Redundancy department — the same folks responsible for the After the Show Show). Anywho, feel free to vote and weigh in on the debate we’re having in the Greenroom this morning.
Valentines and Yellow Ribbons
Good Monday morning Everyone! I know, I know, this post is delayed. I have a two-letter explanation: A.J. He was absent Friday (unauthorized by me, I might add). He’s put together this photo montage this morning clearly as an effort to ingratiate himself back into my good graces. And it’s working!
Jamie Colby brought some old friends thorugh the Greenroom on Friday. Dr. Jim Valentine and his wife Tracey, plus Dr. Erwin Thal — all surgeons from Dallas.

The brave Alan Kieta and his lovely wife. Alan is blind but that didn’t stop him from fending off an intruder in his home and holding him at knifepoint til cops arrived. He gave me a more hospitable greeting.
Tony Orlando instructing me how to tie a yellow ribbon. Actually he was telling me about his long friendship with Geraldo and their late best friend Freddie Prinze. The all grew up in NYC and palled around together. Now those are some photos I’d like to see.

Make-up maven Maureen LOOVES Tony Orlando (and I think the feeling is mutual!). She told him how much his show kept her entertained as a child.
Help! I’m in a mustache sandwich. Quick — which one is Tony and which is Geraldo? Separated at birth?
Open Blog Friday
Good morning Everyone. I’m back from a lovely day away from work spent grocery shopping and running errands. Sheer glamour, in other words, but wonderfully relaxing nontheless. Here are a few topics for us to bat around today In the Greenroom:
– Steve’s interview with President Bush
– Bill Moyer’s interview with Rev. Wright
– What should happen with all the children taken from the polygamous sect?
Is McCain Physically Unfit for President?
Hey everyone, as you know Alisyn was out today, but the Greenroom was still in! This is A.J., the intern. I’m sure you remember me from my appearance as a gorilla. Anyway, Alisyn asked me to pose this question to you.
As you heard this morning, the LA Times came out with an article about McCain. The article discussed how McCain is receiving disability (a tax-free disability pension of about $58,000) from the government because of his injuries from when he was tortured as a POW. The question posed in the article is whether McCain is able to run for President. If he is “on disability” is he allowed to be President? What are your thoughts???
Pictures from the Campaign Trail
Do you have any photos you’ve snapped along the campaign trail? Maybe you’ve met a candidate? If so, the Greenroom wants to see them. Click here to send me your photos!
Follows the link, and make sure to title your picture “Alisyn’s Blog.” Then give a description of the shot and how you got it.
Here’s the first example sent this week by my cousin Jessica from South Philly!

“This was taken at Chickie’s and Pete’s. Its really him, as everyone was calling “Mr. President, Mr. President” I yelled out to him “Hey! Come take a picture with me” and he did!!! hahahahaha, it was funny. Pic is not too good but I am almost positive i will never get a picture with a president ever again!!!”
