Hey Al, love your bits on the show in the early A.M. Did you know that there is a fansite for the Red Eye program called The Activity Pit, and we have fan club just for you? You should check it out. P.S. You are like my fave on Fox and Friends. Your appearance on Red Eye last week was stellar. Send me an autograph! xox Shelly Jensen a.k.a lil_gemini

Many years ago I got on a genealogy kick and it is amazing how far the research technology has come over the years. Hours and hours spent in a dusty old library can now be reduced to minutes from the comfort of your home. I lucked out on my search, because a noted genealogist had published a very thoroughly researched book about my paternal line of the family. About four generations into my history I made a connection to that book and it took me back to the first of the line that came across the ocean in 1690.

COME ON FOLKS, ENOUGH WITH TRYING TO BE CUTE AND OVER RIDING YOUR GUEST WITH WHAT YOU THINK ARE FUNNY COMMENTS. LET THE VIEWER HEAR WHAT YOUR GUEST HAS TO SAY, AS YOU ONLY ALLOW TO-FEW MINUTES FOR MOST OF THEM ANYWAY. WOULD HAVE ENJOYED HEARING AN ANSWER TO THE QUESTION ABOUT WHAT ARE DISTANT COUSINS, BUT NOOOOOO STEVE HAD TO AGAIN BUTT IN AND TRY TO BE THE “LIFE OF THE PARTY” GUY. HOLD BACK AND LET US ENJOY AND LEARN FROM YOUR GUEST. THANKS AND BE WELL, CHARLES……..

I went to the newenglandancestory.org website and did a search. It came up with twelve hits for my name but when I tried to see what they were it referred me to joining. I went there and found that you need to spend a minimum of $75 to join their society. Not free as they intimated in the spot.

Just a note about a tidbit of information from your regular show this morning (31 Mar).

Cell Phones cause cancer like flies cause garbage!

I suppose these researchers think we are stupid? Sounds like something Obama’s Rev. Wright would say!

They said watching color TV would make us go blind too, so I just watched until I needed glasses. Of course with the beauty of You (Alisyn) and Gretchen there may be a hint of truth to that one! What a sight on my Television at 5:00 AM here in San Antonio!

Three ways to figure out how you are related to:

1. Join a historical society.

2. Go online.

3. Write down what you know.

Hi Ali!
I tried the New England Ancestors website with the impression that it was a free research tool, especially after your guests commented about Ancestry.com only wanting money. Guess who else wants money?

Alisyn,
How do you get an entry level job at FOX—such as a production assistant, greeter, or even an embedded producer on one of the campaigns? I love talk radio also. I’d love to be a call screener or associate producer for a FOX talk radio host. I’ve sent my resume in several times, but nothing so far. I love FNC & have a true passion for this business, but can’t seem to get anywhere.
Any advice? Thanks, Alisyn.
