Corbin Bernsen and Senator Specter
Corbin’s in the Greenroom this morning to talk about the return of his show Psych on the USA Network. We also chatted about his latest directing endeavor. It’s a horror movie called “Dead Air.” It has brains blowing out. Need I say more? We’ve just talked him into staying for the AtSS.
And, because the Greenroom is always a crazy amalgam of people, Corbin’s on the couch at the moment next to Senator Arlen Specter. Senator Specter is here to talk about his battle with cancer which he details in his book “Never Give In.”

Alisyn you look great,
your husbend is a very lucky man.

WOW! Hello everyone! I feel just as flattered to see you guys just as if I was sitting right there next to you!
I would like to talk to Corbin about my taxes! lol
I love Corbin’s character on the show.
Alisyn you certainly have the perfect job. Not only do you get to meet great celebrities, our political figures and travel, but you also get to work with the best news team on cable. Everybody has a great personality, even Brian. Keep up the good work.
I sure do!
I have always admired Corbin, but I feel actors should keep their politics quiet. We as Americans are entitled to our opinions but actors are there to entertain us.
Alisyn,
This has nothing to do with anything about any of these topics and I don’t know if you can actually help me on this. I do a one hour talk show for a local Christian televsion station. I interview guests in four different segments about things that are of interest to our local community. I usually have no problem with the actual interviews, but I really struggle with my openings, closings, and segues. If feel that they are so repetitive. There is no one local who can give me advice. Is there any way that you might could help me out on some openings and closings?
Just a little side note – this program that I host was originated by Mike Huckabee when he was our pastor. I was his assistant at the time and have continued to produce the show since he left us. I really enjoyed seeing him on your show. He’s a great guy!
I would most appreciative of any advice you could lend.
Thanks so much,
Salli Brown
Salli,
I would say follow Brian Kilmeade’s lead. He peppers his opens, closes and tosses with unpredictable statements and exclamations. Keeps everything VERY fresh. Some might say too much.
Alisyn, I watch the Fox and Friends every morning form 4:00 CT until 8:00 and also on weekends. What happened to Paige Hopkins? I was shocked when I tuned in on the weekend and Kelly and Paige were not appearing on the show. I do see the Kelly has been moved to a different show but not a word about Paige? Thank you in advance for your response.
Talked him into staying? Yea, i am sure you had a gun to his head. From that photo, i would say he is probably still hanging around. I know i would be.
If i win that silly contest, can i get a shot like that with you? Pretty Please? I promise i will let go……eventually.
oh I remember him on General Hospital playing Carly’s Father I enjoy that and L.A. Law.

Aly, you looked very nice today. Thank you for answering my comment
Another interesting day in the ‘Greenroom’.
Agree or not with Sen Spector’s politics, I think everyone facing serious illness can draw inspiration from his stories of over coming cancer. (Would be nice if everyone could get Congress style health care insurance without brankrupting the country)
Great to see Corbin stopping by. He was great back on ‘L.A. Law’ as the lethargiosis ‘Arny Becker’. (What a tough job that was. Stripping down and making out in bed with a different hot actress everyday. How much did he pay them to let him play that part?)
(You know Arny would have gone wild over Alisyn!)
He did one of the greatest guest starring spots ever on a Star Trek show. (If you don’t know what I am talking about then you aren’t a Trekkie, like Greg Kelly. LOL)
And now Corbin is doing a great job on ‘Psych’. A fun little show that has been on USA Network and now is getting called up to NBC’s on Sunday nights. It is a great companion show for ‘Monk’.
Thanks for pics, Alisyn!
Two more guys to add to the list for all of us guys to be jealous of.
What has Fox done with my favorite weekend anchor, Jamie Colby?
She has not updated her blog since March 12th, she was missing in action over the past weekend and now I see she is being dropped from the various Fox Blog Rolls. Give us the scoop!!!!!!
Please tell Brian, Thanks for the great”shot”while he was moving the sofa this morning, now his wife is a lucky lady…Brains & Humor!
What exactly did he show???
Aly- If you really want an early morning good laugh, next time the Terminex Ad runs in the 7-8 time slot check out the almost stationary trees in the background of this simulated hurricane while almost everything that is not tied down is blowing out to sea in the foreground. You would think their ad agency could have done a better job.

Alisyn, I love you on the morning Fox News. In fact, I love all of the morning news cast. You do a great job and I hope to see you all in New York following the contest. I still find it hard to believe that you had a baby just a short time ago. I have family members with three year olds still trying to lose that baby fat!
Keep up that up-beat morning wake up show! My husband and I love it, regardless of Brian’s attempts to exhibit a less informed image. He makes us laugh…great way to start the day, especially when you are in Brownsville, Texas.

Three ways to know that you are watching Fox and Friends:
1. You stay interested.
2. You keep up with the latest news.
3. You become part of the family.

A morning show-
Keeping us in the know.

Man…..has it been 30 years since LA Law? Corbin looks like he’s about 68 years old. And of course Aly’s lookin smokin’ hot at what, 30?
I know what he is going threw i was diagnose with cervic cancer back in 1985 when i was carrying my daughter and in 2006 i was diasnosed with skin cancer and in 2008 i had surgery for brain cancer and it is true about your attitdue and wheather y are going to make it
opps,
I just noticed I described Corbin’s character “Arny Becker” from LA Law as “lethargiosis”. First that is not a real word, and if it were it would suggest that his character was lazy, as in ‘lethargic’. (Arny certainly wasn’t lazy.)
What I meant to say was that Arny was a ‘Lothario’, a womanizing man. A handsome seducer and betrayer of women. A cad.
I hate it when I have to ombudsman myself. LOL
Aliyson, You look great every morning. I don’t know how you do it at the early hour. I enjoyed the pictures posted. Keep up the great work.
