Rev. Jeremiah Wright will be a guest speaker at a church in Tampa for the next three nights. The church does have a live webcast, but the announcement is not clear about whether it will be running for Wright. I’m sure whatever he has to say will make it to the media and give everyone something to talk about for a few days.

Danice should be in NASCAR. With her personality and beauty, she would become the most watched driver in the sport. Her ability would take her to the top. Open wheel racing is not watched by most race fans in America, thus her talent is not being seen. Nascar would never be the same, as the grease under the fingernails would be replaced by polish.

We give Danica a lot of credit, but among the people that understand the race unfortunately she is only a mediocre driver and having not won anything there are still very legitimate questions,she still has a long way to go.

Larry you are exactly correct! Danica would be a lovely sparkle and talent to Nascar. A sponser would benifit tremendously having her as a driver. About as much as if Alysin was driving for them.

The rest of the Day was a New Broken Record being played on Cable News.. Hillary and the Sniper Fire story.. Every Hour we had to have this Run over and over again… “Typical” Cable News !!!

But that’s not Important, let’s repeat a Story about a Politician who told a Lie !! WOW, what a shock !! A Politician making up a story… Every Politician does it from Bush to a City Mayor !!! Fact of Life !! Deal with it !!

I realy thought a year or so, that she was going to be picked-up by NASCAR, to bad she didn’t switch over. She could also be one of the Fox News girls, if she ever get tiered of driving, she’s, sharp, smart, wittie, and beautful just as Grentchen and Alisyn are.

Some people may disagree with me, since there wasn’t a lot of crazy antics — but I think this was one of your best AtSS’s yet — a well-paced interview with an interesting, intelligent and witty individual. You all seemed like you had been friends for years.

Great AtSS considering here in Southwest Ohio the entire show was not broadcast on DirectTv. FNC went down at 2 AM and did not come back on till 9:01 AM. Due to tech problems so they say.

this is a question regarding a different issue; namely, John McCain NOT offering a solution for the foreclosure/economic crisis. He is sounding totally non-compassionate to the home owners who made mistakes and need a “plan of action”. These people don’t need any more criticism - the mortgage companies LOANED them and approved them for the loans - EVEN WHEN THE CUSTOMER OR BORROWER ASKED THAT THEY BE TOLD IF THEY DID NOT QUALIFY, ETC. I am a Christian conservative republican but I am voting for a democrat for the first time since John McCain and the republican party OFFERS NO ASSISTANCE AND SOLUTION/ANSWER!!! They are in their “ivory tower” and playing “let’s pretend this problem is not there”.

Please do NOT say any more about how the mortgage company should “help” the borrower - John McCain should have one of his “staffers” TALK TO THE CEO OF COUNTRYWIDE - the CEO has told us “it’s business” and we (countrywide) are not legally accountable to The President or anyone in government and we are in this for the money!!! Call and ask Angelo Moziilo (CEO) yourself and he will tell you - 1-818-225-3523. The Fed Gov COULD and should offer an economic “way to pay back” for the borrower - not a “bail out” but a way to HELP because the mortgage companies have NO interest and WILL not take any measures to help the customer. John McCain is in some “la la land” and does not even comprehend reality of what people are dealing with - he sounds just like Pres. Bush. I will NOT vote for John McCain - he has no heart and no ANSWERS and solutions to help the working people!!!

Thank-you for having Danica Patrick on your show today. I’m a fan of hers and was pleased hearing all the stuff on the After the Show show. I was surprised to learn of her fears of heights and of the dark, and liked that she too, like myself, doesn’t like the water. Danica is a very attractive woman and I hope she wins in the future. I think her beauty and talent together will help ” invade” a male dominated sport. It seems to mean more somehow how if a beautiful woman can do something just as good as a man can, rather than if she looked like a “butch” type of woman. Sure Danica is a great driver, and yes she is sexy, but she doesn’t quite measure up in the alluring dept. as well as Alisyn does !

Loved the afss today. I have followed Danica since I first saw her in the Indy race a few years ago. She showed today that she is not only beautiful but a very polished woman and well spoken. Glad Doocy didn’t eat any of the cake on the recording as I would have had to shut it off without listening to it. I had to turn the F&F show off this morning when the Hooters girl handed out the chicken wings. That guy should have some table manners taught to him!!!!!!

Danica is a great person and driver. It’s hard enough for any one man to break into motorsports at the level she has and be successful, and that she has speaks to her talant and drive. Believe me, there are plenty of drivers racing with her each week that would love to be only nearly as successful as she. Her future is wide open. Indy, Formula 1, Nascar… she is just on the verge of being able to write her own ticket wherever she chooses to go… or stay.

Well, this was the news today… by the way marilyn, you are doing a fine job of towing the democrats “party line”. Real close, almost Howard Dean’esk.

According to the AP - McCain said that he wants to leave the door open to an array of proposals to address the problems and seemed to suggest he might even be open even to solutions straying from the GOP line.

“I will not play election-year politics with the housing crisis, …I will not allow dogma to override commonsense.” “I have always been committed to the principle that it is not the duty of government to bail out and reward those who act irresponsibly, whether they are big banks or small borrowers,” and “Government assistance to the banking system should be based solely on preventing systemic risk that would endanger the entire financial system and the economy.” said McCain.

He also said that any government assistance to alleviate the housing crisis must be temporary and should be accompanied by reforms aimed at make the system more transparent and accountable so as to prevent a repeat of the crisis. Saying no assistance should be given to speculators, or people who bought houses to rent or as second homes.

He may not be “offering” a solution, but it sure looks as if he’s looking for a reasonable one. Maybe your just not used to politicians seeking to use the taxpayers money wisely, marilyn.

3-26-08 Sorry I am not responding to this topic (Danica), missed the show yesterday. However, I would like to throw this thought out regarding Hillary’s Bosnia memory. Does she really think the public is that stupid? It’s like she’s thinking, “I’ll share this “story”, and see what reaction I get, and if the public believes it, I’ll really run with it, but if not, I’ll just say, oops, I’m human???? So, will she try that strategy when it comes to foreign affairs, economic issues, etc. How can we even think about believing anything that comes out of her mouth??? Can you believe her attitude when she addressed it? Shrugging, blowing it off as being human?? I thought it was outrageously disrespectful to the military and everyone!!! To: Larry, Danica doesn’t like stock cars they are to heavy and she can’t drive them well enough to compete, and being a Nascar fan and hanging around many men, yes they wouldl ove to see her in her bathing suit or less at the track but they don’t want women in the race cars during the race.

Alisyn, you are of Italian origin, so I assume that you have more knowledge of what the Italian-American community thinks about Barack Obama. From what you can figure out, are Italian Americans reacting the same way the Hispanic population is - unhappy about the fact that an African-American will be their president - or do they see this as a unity of the oppressed matter?

Nobody wants to accept it because it is not politically correct to do so but ethnicity is a big thing in this election. To win Obama needs to do well among other minority groups like the Hispanics, Italian-Americans, Jewish-Americans, Korean-Americans, Indian-Americans, Chinese-Americans, Japanese-Americans etc.

This is easier said than done. History has shown us that oppressed groups seldom rally around others. Just take the case of South Africa for instance. The “Coloured” on the Cape did not vote for the ANC when aparthied ended.
