In my experience, women like a man that can cook well. It lets tham know you appreciate the finer things. Maybe it’s a cavewoman instinct, but women like it because its like you are providing food for them! lol Cook a pasta dish, brushetta, a fish or a meat and a canoli with coffe and they are puddy in your hands. Great topic. Cook for your girl- it shows you care. CQ
I would like to know why the Fed is paying attention to the interest rate on mortgages but he could do so much more good if he would regulate the interest on credit cards and revolving accounts. The rates are criminal and affect a majority of consumers throughout the country.
Ok, speaking of Brian, he always seems like nothing is very important to him, well maybe sports, he better start cooking, or he may lose his wife to another guy, and hey it could be a guy who cooks & loves sports.C’mon brian you can whip up an”Oncor family meal”LOL
I like cooking too! It is a hobby for me. I do probably 90 percent of the cooking at my house as well!
The wife loves it!
Does your husband cook Alisyn?
John from Missouri
Good for you Steve! When I was working and went to school, my husband always made sure that our two children had a good family meal, whether it was him cooking something so simple as hot dogs and maccaroni or going to McDonald’s and sitting with them and talking while waiting for me to get out of class. He isn’t the best cook (quality good - looks terrible) but he has cooked for me when I was sick (breakfast, lunch & dinner), and cooked for our children if I was late at work or out of the house. He also changed diapers and helped at bed time. I guess this is why we have been married for 40 years (come April 27th). Hope you devoted a chapter to taking care of each other in your Mr. & Mrs. Happy book.
Ok Brian, It seems like your not interested in too much more than sports. Show your wife and family just how much you care & whip up a dinner, it doesn’t have to be anything special, hey have an “oncor frozen family dinner”, at least you’ve tried. Your awesome Alisyn!!!!and extremely FUNNY
I do most of the dinner cooking, if we don’t go out somewhere. We travel this great country, full-RVing in our Motor Coach, so lots of BBQ, going on, following the sunshine and also the Nascar races, about ten different one a year, right now in Mesa Az. mid 80’s and lots of clear blue skies.
Steve,
Good for you. Cooking for your family is tons of fun…….. Now it’s just Andrea and I. I do work to be sure she has breakfast in bed every morning……………. I think she likes it because she is always waiting with a BIG smile……. 30 years, and still serving (actually only the last 15 or so)……

Politicians are idiots…..we know that….they suck…..now move on……u told that story at least 100 times and “Breaking news” maybe 50 times…..relax…ur not reporting anything that we don’t know…..Once or twice is good! Never in a thousand years would I have anticipated being in and out of hospitals, nursing homes and such, at such a young age! What I wouldnt give to have my husband heat up a frozen TV entree, say Stuffed Peppers, and on his own, whip up some instant mashed potatoes. I’m no longer fussy, I dont even care if they arent real, arent lumpy enough, dont have the right amount of milk or black pepper. Just dont care… Just the effort alone would make me wilt at his feet in appreciation! Dont get me wrong, he’s come a long way from the days of the circuit boards organized and filed in the dishwasher, or the wine glasses being the only dishes in his kitchen.
I’m going to book you on Paula’s Party (yes dear, Paula Dean) and YOU are going to learn how to cook!! Paula will whip you in shape. Your wife will greatly appreciate it.
I am a great cook, but give me coffee in bed, salad made by anyone else but me, or a man who will cook for me, then my kitchen accomplishments pale in comparison. Fortunately, while my husband may not cook for me as much as he would like, I eat it up when he does. Someone should tell Brian.
Keep Alisyn on! We think she is great on Fox and Friends! She really is the BEST!
Alisyn you are the best you make me laugh. I do all the cooking and cleaning in our house. I cooked 30 years and still enjoy preparing a good meal for my sister and my self.
Alisyn Camerota is co-host of FOX & Friends First, and news anchor for FOX & Friends. Come join the fun as she posts exclusive behind-the-scenes details from the FOX & Friends greenroom – you never know what will happen!
I don’t understand Brian at all. I bet I do 90% of the cooking in my house, (the MRS. does 100% of the clean up though).
In fact the things that most impressed my wife back when we first met was I kept a very clean house and was a good cook.
