American Idol Talk on the AtSS
by Alisyn Camerota
What do YOU think of the current American Idol controversy — should contestants who had record contracts in the past be allowed to compete on the show now?
(And Janice Dean, the Weather Machine, sat with us today! You can check out HER blog here!)
done
I’m sorry, what were you talking about again???? All I saw was my Weather Goddess and couldn’t hear a thing
So Gorgeous………………………..Any chance we give her a permanent slot ….please….;)
Hey Alisyn – What was that you said to your shirt at the beginning of the AtSS?
JD came and played how fun. I love the A.S.S. that end with Joel waving, he is a favorite of mine!
Poor guy, stuck listening to women yackin women things, just jokin, whats this about the weather machine in a bikini in winter, did I miss somethin.
Have fun in the snow(what are snow boots LOL) think about ya ihere in FLORIDA, sure is hot here, 55 degrees today.

I can answer that question with one word…NO. I thought the appeal to this show was to take a non-professional and give him/her the opportunity of winning the contest and possibly getting a record contract.
Personally, I care less about American Idol. Never watch it.
Three who should be allowed on the American Idol Show:
1. Folks off the street.
2. Folks with no contract.
3. Folks with no experience trying to get a break.
==========================================
Let the regular unexperienced folks have a shot-
Of what some of those with contracts have already got.

NO!! I was under the impression that this was a contest for inexperienced singers! To inject people who have already had record contracts, makes this show a sham!!! I will NOT watch!
I somewhat agree as they should be looking for hidden talents from several states that is not yet discovered and it seems that this season was full of experienced contestants
