Girltalk A.S.S. with Rick! Quelle surprise! Thanks I loved it as usual. Nascar is addictive, so far I have avoided it for that reason.

I have never been to Daytona but my birthday is May 22nd and we have gone to Lowe’s Motor Speedway 3 years in a row now for Memorial weekend. We get there Thursday and camp till Monday, it is just the best time.
Lets run this by the powers to be and start planing now.

Can I hear every one shout ROAD TRIP!

To all of Fox’s great Personalities both on screen and behind the cameras, I as a long time race fan starting with USAC and now into Nascar, it is one of the last great sport that you can take your family too without all the vulgar language and very few drunk beer drinkers. Nascar fans in general are very courteous and their is times when the drivers get their tempers up and do things that are a little over the edge but they are taken to the Nascar Trailor where they are chastised greatly and if you don’t think so ask any driver/crew chief if he likes to take the walk to the trailors. It has grown to be one of the greatest sports or our time and if you believe the guys driving the cars and the ones that work in the pits are not great athlete’s, just try and do what they do. In Kansas City most every year you can take a ride around the track in Richard Petty’s car and see whaqt ti feelsw like going into the turns and they do not run up to the speeds as in real races but feel the “g’s” that are put on you. It is well worth $100 and then I think you will go away appreciating the Nascar Family. Thanks for listening.

Hi Ladies, First & foremost I enjoy your show every day. I however have to tell you I am not a Nascar fan but an Indy car fan. I would give you a little advice & go to the Indianapolis 500 on Memorial Day weekend if you want to see a real race.

Cars go a football field in less than a second. (thats approx 230 MPH) The skill of driving an Indy car is a lot harder than a Nascar. The Indy cars don’t try to knock other cars out of the way & if they did drivers would get killed. I know the Indy 500 is an ABC deal & Daytona is a Fox deal.

Indy has been around for over 90 years. The pre race is truly breath taking. If you can imagine 400,000 folks in one place & when they play Taps to honor our solders past & present & watch the fly over. It is like nothing you have ever seen.

Footnote: I took my Dad back in 1994 & it was the 50th anniversity of D-Day. During Taps being played the flyover happen. It was General Chuck Yeager & his two wing man who served with General Yeager on D-Day. I looked over at my Dad & there were tears flowing down his face. I looked around & saw a lot of older guys & everyone of them had tears. It will be something I will never forget. Thanks for letting me share this with you & hope you can go to Indy sometime. Take care & have a great weekend!

Hey Alysin,

I read a book called My Life In the Pits by Ronda Rich. The author tells her story about her days as a reporter for NASCAR and it was great. It gives you a great inside look into the sport especially before all of the comercialization of it. If you are interested it is a fast and insightful read from a womans perspective.

Jane Fonda, who sat on anti-aircraft weapon in North Vietnam that was used to shoot down and kill our airmen, does not even deserve the time of day. I can only wonder why any TV network would give her a forum in the first place, unless, of course, it is out of pure desperation for ratings!! I can only think of the 2-3 million Laotians, Vietnamese, and Cambodians that were war tortured or killed after we left that part of the world. Jane Fonda represents what this country does not stand for, that is more than quite obvious.
I look at a picture of a service man killed in the Vietnam War back in 1968 at the age of 28 who left a wife and three kids, my age at that time. Now 50 years later I am still alive with three grown kids with four grandchildren, and even 13 year son to enjoy and cherish. Yet, if that serviceman had made it alive back to the United States, people like Jane Fonda would spit in his face!! Enough said!!

HI Alisyn,

Rick is 100% correct on all he said about Daytona, We are in the middle of all the fun as I type this to you. One of the largest partys on earth, please do make it down here next year, (Lots of cherry moonshine on hand). Some of the best BBQ to be found is at a Nascar event. That would be a dream come true, to get to meet y’all here next year.
Last night as we made it back to our RV, as luck would have it, 3:00am we got to see ya on Red Eye, y’all were great once again.

Your fellow paisan,
Carlo & Sally Cellucci

Ali- You will never be the same after your first Nascar race! Everybody has to do it once at least for the “experience” All truth be told for watching though Fox does have the best seats in the house.

Comment by Theresa in Texas

Hey Bob G. I think they were referring to the Fox News Business Channel, it’s in HD.

So, Ali, give the scoop on the change of the weekend anchors. I tuned in and thought I would
see Page, Greg and Kelly. Is this permanent. Vacation? Just shuffling the deck?? Looking for
other chemistry??

Loved the Nascar coverage over the weekend.

Well now we know who get all the fun jobs with both Fox and Friends crews – Brian and Rick. They both always seem to find a way to be somewhere exciting. I’m glad Rick was on Saturday because I really missed the regular weekend crew. Of course one of the nice things about Brian being somewhere is that Greg usually fills in for him (okay so I do miss Brian when he is not there) and that is when we get to see Alisyn and Gretchen give Greg a hard time about his love life and other things.

Comment by Doug McKinley

where is Page and Kelly ???? this new crew is just plain silly and they talk way to fast and talk over each other. we are long time fox and friends viewers but if this continues we will find something else to watch on week ends. we are very fond of the week day crew. Brian, Gretchen and steve work so well together. why was the change made ????

Comment by Francine Deppe

Where is Page Hopkins and Kelly Wright? My family enjoys watching their weekend show. Who is this Ainsley Earhardt? Please bring back our regulars.

Why is O’Reilly’s show being repeated over and over again this weekend?

Yo, Stella,Roger,Aliysn,Brian,John,Mike,Steve,Gretchen,Anybody Red eye

WHERE IS PAGE HOPKINS?

Comment by Tonya

I agree with the weekend crew topic, this change sucks! Ainsley gets on my nerves, she talks waaaaaaay to much! Even when she would just report the news on the weekends when she was done with the news she would have to spend a few minutes at the end giving her oponion on something. They mine as well call it the Ainsley show. It is a repeat of Courtney. They are both to inexperienced to be a co-host, they need to learn how to share the couch and learn how to let others talk and actually talk about the story at hand. I want to know whats going on in the world not what’s going on in the current blondes little world. This long time Fox viewer is going to have to find something else to watch on the weekends if they can’t get back to hiring based on how they read the news and act on camera instead of going with what ever cute blonde walks through the door! I want Paige back! She knows what she is doing and can back her actions up. She isn’t insacure like Ainsley and like Courtney was who both feel like they need to smile and flip their hair the whole show to get them through!

Comment by Sheila DeRouen

Don’t you think it is time for someone to just tell everyone that Kelly Wright and Page Hopkins are suspended or off the show (or Fox News) for good? It’s apparent that they are no where to be found but what a loss for Fox and Friends. They are very talented people and were an asset to Fox and Friends.
