Today’s After Show Show!

What do you think of today’s ATSS?  Leave your comments below!

Welcome back…

…from your holiday weekends.  I feel like a stuffed turkey.  Had a great, cozy, delicious weekend with family and let’s just say it’s possible I overindulged.  Are 3,000 calories too much for one sitting?  And what will Bon Jovi think??  I’m heading to Philly after the show to interview him about a volunteer project he’s working on.  Any questions for him?

By the way, if you write during the show, I’m logged on and can respond in real time and we can have a cyber conversation.   Isn’t this “Internet” thing crazy?

1:45pm UPDATE

I’m off to meet BonJovi now.  Thanks for all the suggestions for questions.  (Love the “Why are Jersey girls so irresitible?” one)  We’ll hopefully air the interview on Wednesday’s show.

Thanksgiving Thank You

This morning I thank you guys. Yesterday was a banner day here at In the Greenroom. Thanks to you, we got the most hits this blog has ever seen (14,500 and counting)!!! We’re thrilled that you’re clicking here to see us behind the scenes and to get celebrity recipes. Because of your feedback, this morning we’ve created a new category called “Recipes” where you can find previous posts. On this Thanksgiving, I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with all of you and for the kindness in your comments. Have a wonderful holiday.

UPDATE — 10am

Lots of you have asked for that address to the “Books for Soldiers” program that Brian talked about yesterday. It’s obviously a great way to help those men and woman away from their families this holiday season. Here it is:

Books for Soldiers

Today’s After the Show Show!

Alan Alda

I’ve never seen our legal analyst Arthur Aidala so excited. It’s 8:15am and Arthur is supposed to be headed to work but he refuses to leave our greenroom. His favorite Italian-American Alan Alda is here and Arthur has him cornered.

As I write, they’re bonding about their recent trips to Italy. Who knew Alan’s real name is Alfonso d’Abruzzo??? Does it getting any more Italian?? He told us his father changed the family name when he got to America by taking the first two letters of his first and last names and “Alda” was born. Capiche?

Today’s After Show Show!

It’s Monday morning. Ugh.

Between being on Red Eye late Friday night and having a sick baby at home who’s waking up throughout the night, it wasn’t the most restful weekend.  So I need a little help coming up with ideas for today’s After the Show Show.  Now accepting suggestions.  Maybe we should talk about our Thanksgiving plans.  Either that or Gretchen’s love life when she was a single reporter in Cincinnati.  ;-) What do you think?
