I love talking recipes Alyson. Do you do cornbread, Steve’s wife do cornbread dressing? Just curious! Truly enjoyed seeing you guys just hang out!

Love all you guys, that’s why you are number 1. I’m going to make that pasta recipe you mentioned for lunch today.

From Sunny Arizona Happy Thanksgiving to all of you .

Love the AfterShow. I’m Italian and we do a huge feast on Thanksgiving, we start with an antipasto – no lettuce – it’s italian cold cuts and provalone cheese, marinated veggies etc., then it’s pasta course w/meat, followed by turkey soup then the turkey with all the trimmings. Then we have desert, pumpkin pie and italian pastries. When my grandfather was alive we used to do sausage & peppers later in the evening along with turkey sandwiches.
Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Marianne,
You’re reminding me of our family tradition!! We too always had pepperoni and salami and olives and cheese BEFORE the meal. And we used to eat sausage and pepper sandwiches too — not on Thanksgiving but on New Year’s Eve, after midnight. Do you do the Seven Fish Feast on Christmas Eve?

Fox and Friends, you are the beginning of my day. I can’t tell you how much I look forward to all of you. The After the Show, show is really great. You used to have a directory of the motels who carried the FNC. I don’t find that anywhere and since I travel a lot, that’s always good to know.
Can you give me some direction about that? Love you all. My husband calls me a “Fox News Junkie”
That would be true. Have a great Thanksgiving, each and every one of you!

Brian sure did get out of there fast! He must have had a hair and nail appointment to get to.

Great show – as always!

I think the After the Show Show is great. Alyson you are such a treat to watch and all us italians love hearing your take on recipes and all the other “stuff” that life throws at us!
My only complaint is that I wish there was more of it. Love Fox & Friends and definitely Alyson Camarota in the A.M. Your soooooo funny! and entertaining! Why don’t they put you on more and let someone else read the news on the hour!
Keep up the great work/play!
Another “Fox News Junkie”!!!

Since I am an Easterner living on the West coast now, I wake up after the show is over and I really miss being able to see “Fox and Friends”. With the “After show show” I like being able to see what the show was about and the news and humor that goes on among the crew and cast members. I really like the “After show show” what a great idea. Maybe you could stream it live for an half hour as a new inernet TV show.
Thanks for the good news, Happy turkey day!

What a delightful find, The after show show. I have never tuned in before today and what a day to do so. I love Alyson and have always admired Alan Alda, especially now that I know we share the same Italian heritage. We have had the same exeriance of a pasta dish before the turkey and it was great. This year we will have the pasta, home made manicotti, the night before with our family of 15 here in force.

On Thursday we will partake of the tradional turkey dinner with a toal of 12 adults and 10 kids aged 15 thru 4. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I’ll be right over!

Great Recipe……..can I share my recipe for “Scampi di Natale”? Traditionally my family (of Abruzzese decent) always has seafood on Christmas Eve…and this is what we eat:

Cooked or Raw Shrimp (raw is better and prepared as on bag)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Capers
Green Olives
Button Mushrooms, small
red onion
White wine vinegar
sprinkle of oregano, basil
clove of garlic (only for marinating)

Mix it all together and marinate for a minumum of 24 hours. Serve cold with Italian Bread for dipping in the oil and vinegar.

Sorry I don’t use measurements – nobody in my family ever has – it’s an Abruzzi thing!

Enjoy

Looks great, Christina! I’ll try it on Christmas Eve. Yum!

HI Alisyn!!

I’m so glad you’re on at 6 and not 7, so I can see you while I get ready for work. My husband has a crush on your ex-cohost Kieren, but I got a girl crush on you. This is the first time I’ve remembered to check out your blog.

Thanks for all the fun times you give me in the morning!!!

Melissa

p.s I think we could be Best Friends! Come over for coffee next time your in florida!

Poor Gretchen and her family are stuck home alone and ordering dinner. Steve said his family wasn’t having any guests. Steve should ask Gretchen and her family over for Thanksgiving dinner!

I love all you guys. My wife and I start our day everyday watching. Always set to record in case we sleep in so we never miss it.

Thanks for all of your fair reporting and I too pray the Dems never get back the White House..

Alisyn – love the show and thanks for the sharing those recipes for free rather than the $20.08 someone would pay for Mrs Edwards. But my real question is who does your hair. Love it and would love to have it. Also have a great Thanksgiving.

Comment by T & Me

Alisyn, Please tell me more about your Seve Fish Feast, I only have a vague memories from my ginny granny! I will be cooking Christmas this year and would love to be as Ol’ home as possible!
I also welcome any hints, help, whatever from all my Fox friends!

Enjoy your thanksgiving, God Bless

Yesterday you and Brian said you would post the address to send books to for our military. Maybe I don’t know how to search for it but pleeeeeeeez get it on the website soon. Thx.

My day does not begin unless I have you all to help me greet it.
As this launches our Christmas Season, my prayer for each of you is that you find love, joy, and ;appiness, not only now, but next year and every year thereafter.

Love Alyson. Shes great!!! Only watch Fox and Friends for the one hour shes really on. After shes gone, so am I. If Fox was smart she would have her own show and wouldnt have to be surrounded by lesser talent every day. Doocy is okay. Can live without Brian and Gretchen (especially Brian. Is there anyone on TV more obnoxious or dim-witted? I think not. And first thing in the morning no less!!! Didnt like the guy when he was doing the sports thing a few years back. Arrogant twerp)
Oh, and whats with everyone who works for Fox always pushing their stupid books. That self-serving stuff is lame and obvious. C’mon guys, do you really think you have something so important to say that people are willing to pay for it?
This entry will probably never make it to the board because its not a “feel-good, love is all-around, everyone-is-so-wonderful” kind of post. But who knows? Perhaps Fox’s little red pen will be out of ink today.

Hi Alisyn!

Just thought I would drop by (from Greta Wire) to let you know my hubby gets up EARLY (we are retired) and turns on Fox n’ Friends first thing! He knows more about the FnF crew than about any other program on TV!

Good thing you are there because I sleep in and he has no other company THAT EARLY haha!

FNC is OUR CHANNEL!!!!!!

GO FOX!

Alisyn,

I don’t cook my pasta for lasagna. I simply make my sauce much “jucier” than I normally would. When putting it together, place uncooked lasagna noodles, then slurpy sauce and cheese as normal. Cooks in about the same time, just test to make sure noodles are done. Be sure they don’t stick out of the sauce too much, because if they do, those noodles will still be hard. Otherwise, it works great and saves a bunch of time skipping that step.

Hi Alyson.

I am a huge Fox & Friends Fan and have been for many years. You appear to be the most “real” person there. With never meeting you I really get the feeling you are the same on camera as off. If you enjoy cooking and love when something comes along to make a difficult job so simple, while removing all the problems associated with Taco Cooking, then let me ask you to check what I am doing out. http://www.TacoRack.com

If you are impressed with The Taco Rack’s Tacos Made Simple Cooking System, I could send you a sampe to evaluate. If you would like to share my new product with the Fox & Friends Audience, I have a local Food Network Chef who will appear to demonstrate the product line and the cooking system on the show.

We just missed being on CBS’s The Early Show during a Taco Cooking Segment they did bacj in January. I really would prefer to have my inventions debut on Fox.

Please contact me and I promise you a great story we can use on Brian Kilmeade.

Thank you

Everyone including Chris Wallace are giving Obama a free pass. If a white person made the coments that he has and hung around with the radicals that he has they would be destroyed by the black community and the white press. Hey, about Obama, if you walk like a duck and talk like a duck, guess what you are a duck. We don’t need this racist in the white house.
