Alisyn in the Greenroom

This is fun

Hey, I’m really enjoying reading all your comments about The After Show Show. You seem to like seeing our impromptu morning Dance Party. Maybe Janice Dean will join in today. She’s a dancer extraordinaire. But we can’t dance everyday (or can we?).

So, what would you guys like to see on the After Show Show? Give us some ideas.

Dear Alisyn,

I was wondering if you and our other “Friends” could tell us what you really think about sitting on that “Flintsone” couch? We feel for you here in Minnasoooda. Love the After Show.

Gosh it’s too early to tell! But just keep doing it anyway! I think this is a fun way to connect to the audience. I must say that I don’t think any news crew connects better already. You guys are much more ‘real’ and fun to watch than other news programs in the morning. Ya’ll are doing great (Tennessee accent coming through) and the ‘after the show’ thing is another great idea. Thanks for making morning news fun. We almost feel like we are sitting on the couch in conversation with you…except I usually don’t go through makeup and wardrobe before breakfast…except on every other friday…just for fun…

Comment by Carrie McCollum

Actually, I like the non-script “chaos” that is just you guys being you guys. It is refreshing to see “news people” be just normal nutty people like the rest of us.
Thank you. I hope you keep the after after show going!

Hi Alisyn!

The After the Show Show is great! It would be nice to meet the folks behind the scenes too — Camera operators, control room folks, the sound effects button pusher, etc.! Just keep up the great work. You really make morning TV News informative AND entertaining here in Oil City, Pennsylvania.

Kelly

P.S. Lighten up on the black-hair guy that’s not Steve Ducey — he can’t help himself!!!

Comment by Bill

I really enjoy your show and have watched your After the Show Show on a couple of occasions. Is there a link I can select to watch the show if I am unable to catch the show in the 15 minute time frame????

Just an observation Alisyn, you need more air time.

Comment by Ed Reining

I hope you make todays after show available today. Dr Appt @ 8am cst did me in.

I would love to see your office and see if we can catch Rebecca rummaging for your clothes.
Alisyn your always a delight to watch and you let us go off into the day with a smile on our face.
Thanks a bunch.

Hey Alisyn,
How about lets do a coffee table photo book,”Foxes On Fox”.
Love the After The Show segment. Would like to see more of Janice!

Comment by Walter

I’ve only gotten to see one of the after the show videos, but it’s great. I only get to watch the show from about 6 a.m. until about 6:40, so I miss a lot.

But I really enjoy it.

Alisyn!
I forgot about the after show show Dance Party! I never miss a chance to shake my groove thing! I promise to try and make it tomorrow. I’ll tell Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelly they’ll just have to do weather in the 9am themselves! It was so fun being with you guys this am! See you tomorrow in the makeup chair! JD

Comment by Alisyn Camerota

Janice,
You blogger, you! Let’s only communicate this way from now on, which could be tough since you’re only about 10 yards away from me at this moment.

Comment by Ed

Alisyn I hope you let us know when the people from Fox submit their video’s to Jockey. LOL
Great show today!

It might be fun to do a Before the Show Show. Turn the camera on everyone as they arrive in the morning, follow them into the make-up room and show the transformation. Plus, turn the sound up so we can hear all the gossip.

Comment by Suzie G

I could not find today’s after show! I was so disappointed! My mother who is 77 said that Allsyn is so cute. She loved your comment about Bill and the witch!!!

Comment by Randy

I missed it today! Any chance you’ll be archiving video of the After Shows?

Comment by Kenneth D.

Of course I love the show in the mornings. I would like to see you do a segment “after the show” and follow Alisyn or Brian showing what they do when they leave the building. It so interesting the hours that you have to work in a job such as yours! Have a Great Day! And tell Janice to keep on dancin’

Comment by Jim

Janice made me pay attention while watching the weather this morning, but I almost chocked on my cereal! Maybe Steve should get her to show him a few of her moves so that he can add some spice to his forecast:) Then you could get Orlando Salinas to come join in one of the shows and wear his VT (Virginia Tech) hat while doing his reports from the studio??

You guys are great!!
Brian, much love brother
Alisyn, you rock!

Dear Alisyn…

You bring a smile to my husband’s face each morning. (Yes, I realize how sad a statement that is for his wife to make.) He thinks you a a very foxy woman! He even has a picture of you for his cell phone screensaver! But, I guess if my husband is smiling in the morning, my day goes better, too! Thanks, Alisyn, for making my job easier!

Allyson, I really liked watching what goes on in the Green Room after the sdhow but would you ask the camera man to hold the camera steady when you all are dancing or moving about. I just got finished eating lunch and now I’m sick to my stomach from all the jerking around. Blah!

Comment by A.M.

WOW! I see you guys had over a million viewers for Monday’s show. Congrats.

It amazes me how natural you all can be on camera, knowing there are
so many people watching.

Alisyn, I am sick I wanted to tune in. I am going to try and make it.

Alisyn … just love Fox & Friends and “after the show” on the internet! Keep smilin’. Love Brian’s laugh.

The questions that should have been asked to the young lady to make it “fair and balanced” should have been 1. Why was she defiant to administration? 2. If she can’t follow a simple rule like no hugs-no PDA-which every school system enforces-what other rules is she going to break? and if she was defiant towards an administration what kind of respect do you think the teachers are getting?

Instead of the mother being concerned about why her daughter is displaying such defiance and disregard for the rules, she is teaching her daughter that if you don’t like something complain enough and mommy will attempt to fix it.

To me, I can’t understand why it would be acceptable for me to stand there and allow students to hug and hang all over each other. I am not being paid to be a match maker or a pimp. They have no business acting inappropriately in public. Do you hug on your co-workers every 50 minutes? B/c that is basically what would happen. Every time the bell rings for students to change classes they would be out there hugging all over each other.

I feel bad for the teachers of this young lady b/c their authority over her has just been taken away. The media has caused this to happen as well b/c instead of questioning her about her behavior, again like always-Fox paints the school as the bad guy.

I would really love for Allison to come sit in my classroom where I teach 8th graders and see what really goes on. yes, I received a degree in education but because of the legality of my position I have to monitor students behavior not only in my class, but in the hallways as well.

Disrespect and defiance is a discipline problem we face daily. Unfortunately, parents and media do not support us. Instead, they continue to make our jobs harder.

Goodmorning, Alisyn.

First of all let me say, with the UPMOST RESPECT, that you have THE MOST BEAUTIFUL Smile. :) Thank you for sharing it with America. It is truely our pleasure to watch.

My TV in the bedroom is set to come on Mon-Fri at 6AM to Fox&Friends. Your cast is the BEST!!

It is a little early to tell exactly how well the After Show Show is going to do but I like it so far. The personal nature you get with fox&friends is what helps set your show apart from all other news channels. When you add those little things about your life, you develope a personal bond with your audiance and as a result we look forward to seeing you all each morning.

The After Show Show may also do well as a podcast.

Is there in plans for a book by Alisyn Camerota?

Much Love to the “Duce-Man”…..& Brian, I dont care what Colbert says, I know who you are….LOL

Until Tomorrow,
-Steve S.

As for asking for ideas for the “After the Show Show”, how about we get to meet Toba, the audio guy? We hear his handy work every morning, often bringing a welcome laugh to the hosts and audience alike. Now we could get a chance to see and hear him.

How about an interview with Judge Napalitano about his new book?

I would love to see you guys tell what you did the night before. Little things like, We went to dinner and the dinner was nasty. maybe you had to wait ttoo too long and the meal itself was cold and taste terribleI just would like to know if you guys like each other enough to hang out after the show is off. Are you real friends are like most of us? We just see each other and the clicks we have makes us somewhat at odds with one another. It is like did you see what she wore today? I am sure they say the same thing also. Do you all talk about one another that way? Are you really friend? .Another thought, how fun is it to live in New York City? Do you really walk to your market to pick up food daily. Are there a grocery store on every block? Let us know a little bit about you before the show airs how you came to be on fox and friends. The last thing, How do you get to work every morning? Are you picked up in a limo? Does the Limo take you home? What time do you usually work to?What perks do you receive from working at fox? How can we be hired?

I wish you would talk about the name of Obama as a presidents name, when it is a Muslim name and what do you think of that as a president. President Obama??? Are we ready for that??

Dear Alisyn
you are absolutely my favorite lady on fox news!!!! you have the cutest personality , in fact, you are the cutest in everything! they should have you on a lot more often and give you a raise at the same time!!!
linda
ps tell your bosses I said so!

Please take Gretchen off of the show. I have travel a lot and the only way to keep in touch is to watch Fox News. I have had to watch CNN lately because at least then I am prepared to watch and listen to a bleeding heart liberal that lives in la-la land. She even defends Bill Clinton!

Comment by Mary Beth Ryan

I would love to know about the skirt you wore on Monday morning. Where can I get one?

Alisyn-
This past Wednesday morning you and Steve began talking about shows that will soon be returning to primetime. While going through CSI and then CSI Miami you and Steve then began having fun making up a few additional CSI cities of your own. I loved it when you jokingly said “CSI Wenatchee”. I was born, raised and currently reside here in Wenatchee, WA. I’m not sure if you have ever visited Wenatchee of if you just happened to hear about Wenatchee, otherwise known as the “Apple Capital of the World”? Either way, I am a loyal Fox and Friends viewer and your mention of Wenatchee made my day. Thanks for making the morning news so much fun to watch! Keep up the awesome job that you and the rest of the Fox and Friends team do each and every day!

Hi, I don’t know the best place to post this request, sorry to put it here.

But would you all please consider doing a feature on a show called “Clean House” on the Style channel? I know it’s a competing channel, but the reason I think it would be an interesting news piece is that it is a GREAT family show. I think it is a real sleeper–the basic idea is these four people (led by Niecy Nash of “Reno 911″ fame) go into houses of ordinary folks, houses which are completely cluttered, and help turn them around into clean, renovated/restyled homes. In the process, even as the cast of four are hillarious themselves, Niecy Nash (who wasn’t born with a silver spoon in her mouth) is often giving stern heart to heart lectures to these homeowners…mother, father, children, about being responsible, mature, etc. with regards to maintaining a proper home environment. There’s always a large garage sale to raise the roughly $2000-$3500 needed to restyle the house, which is planned by Mark Brunetz, an accomplished LA-area interior designer. My wife likes the idea that MArk–who does design work for A-list celebs–seems to take just as much care redesigning the small humble spaces of these LA-area families. The end result is often an overjoyed, teary-eyed family who recommit to taking care of each other and their home environment.

In any case, we all love it and often share a family dinner while watching it. Our 8-yr old twins are excitedly planning our own garage sale and what we’ll do with the proceeds towards the house. It has also helped us teach them the importance of pitching in as contributing members of the household. I think of Fox News as helping feature themes which other media do not, including conservative themes like the importance of close families and the family home as a sanctuary. This show, even with its ecletic cast on the often odd and narcissistic Style Channel, supports some good old fashioned values. I think it deserves more exposure.

Sincerely,
Patrick Wray

Hey guys,

Was wondering if you could pay a song for Hillary when she looses the nomination…American Idol played it for contestants that got voted off, a few seasons ago…it’s called, “So, you’ve had a bad day”. And you could have a lot of fun with this! Hope to see/hear it on your show!

Dear Alison,
Your comment about being offended by the pastor’s comment about white people voting for Obama because he was white shocked me. You said that it diminished his accomplishments. WHAT ACCOMPLISHMENTS?? As a 1st term senator he has authored NO legislation!!
This is something I’m sure you are aware of.

Comment by Julian Addis

Alison,
You sided with the ACLU atty. on the matter of the child being strip searched for drugs. You said taking a child to the principle’s office and asking them to take their clothes off was beyond the pale (sp)
Perhaps I’m wrong but I understood that the nurse was the one that made her undress not the Principle.
Perhaps you should stick to reporting the news instead of giving your opinion.

I am not sure whats going on this morning but Steve is too negative this morning, and the stories are rediculous. Talking about Obama’s superdelagate that might be the tipster in the child abuse case?? Bill Maher on the cathoilc issue? Steve might have a conflict there? Worst of all the CNN reporter that got caught in Times Square, that is not news worthy and it looks like Steve is trying to make CNN look bad, they do a good job on that thierselves, take the high road, i watch fox and friends everyday and i am very discouraged with todays show!! Doocy needs to remember that the fans , much like the voters of this country listen to everything thats said. Good and bad

The prison that is “helping” the inmate lose weight should publish a weight loss cookbook. There are most likely many people who are overweight that would love to know what is being served and the way the meals are cooked!
