You Spoke and We Listened

My informal poll suggests that you guys do want to hear about the SoCal fires, but you’d like us to incorporate other news from around the country into the show as well. And that’s what we’re doing this morning, sprinkling in politics, the space shuttle, international news and money tips.

It’s a delicate balance because the fires are still raging and firefighters are still out there risking their lives. Do any of you live in Cali?

(There has been an overwhelming amount of people who are looking for my meatball recipe — if you scroll down this page, you will find it in my Frankie Valli entry. Or, click here!)

Ali, I can’t believe that anyone or any Fox Fan would not be interested in the fires in SoCali. Untill and after those fire are put out, keep us (at least me) informed on whats going on. And why it happened, and what could be done so this does not happen agian. Just keep on doing what you guys do best.

Alisyn 5′3″, 110 lbs, cooks Italian. Throw in the brains and sense of humor, you absolutely the perfect woman! Great reporting, now only if we can get Steve and Brian to listen while you speak!

I’m glad your news team took a more rounded approach to the news this morning. The California firestorm is definitely on the minds of many and I am sure those close to the situation cling to every word. But, at a certain point it becomes rather repetitive and a bulletin updating situations as they occur would probably better serve the general public.

Unfortunately, many of us have to get ready and head for work while F&F is on and we miss many of the announced segments. It would be great if you could kind of give us the highlights of the program occasionally. I really wanted to hear the interview with the McCann’s, but I was long gone before it ever aired. Was anything new revealed?

That poor couple has had to endure unimaginable verbal butchery across the internet. I don’t know exactly what happened the night the precious little girl disappeared, but I would much rather deal with facts instead of tawdry speculation based upon nonsensical opinions based upon silliness.

Check out this well-known persons take on the matter. Geez!!!!!!

Sorry. I live in PA. I realize that this fire is big news, but it is not the only news and to keep seeing and hearing the same things over and over is not helping anyone. I am also very disgusted by those reporters who continue to ask people who have just seen their fire ravaged properties “How do you feel?” DUH!!!! How do you think they feel?

Can you please tell us who decides how much time you devote to a subject? When do you move on to something else? Why is everything on Fox News an “ALERT?” What constitutes an alert? Fox and the alerts is getting to be a bit like the boy that cried wolf. Every scrap of news that comes across the wire cannot possibly be so riveting as to be classified as an alert. (Sorry, just thought I would pass that along.)

PS: You are the bright spot on Fox and Friends.

I think your coverage is perfect and I don’t live or even know anyone out there. I would like to see a google earth view with an outline showing the land burned so I could have a better understanding of how huge these fires are.

You guys are doing a good job on your coverage of the fires, but I would like to see a little more of other pertinent issues kinda sprinkled in there as well.

Fox News Channel is just about the only television that I watch, but F&F is my absolute favorite. I wake up with you guys every morning. Whoever put your alls personalities together gets an atta boy or an atta girl. I love the informality format, and the jovial nature at times when it is warranted, but also the seriousness when it is warranted as well. You guys are the absolute best. Keep up the wonderful work.

I love to watch you, and as a former resident of Natick, MA…I have just one thing to say..GO RED SOX!!! I love that you root for your former home team-much to Brian’s dismay!

Actually Ali, I live in GA. Instead of raging fires, we are struggling from lack of water from droughts.
So the sufferage is the same but with different outcomes. Although the fires may be due to arson, the droughts and the winds did not help in Cali.

“Birth Control Pills to 11 year old girls” — ANYONE putting drugs into my children!! without my knowledge!! Shame on you!! Is there a law against this?? Do these schools think that folks don’t have their own doctors and beliefs in birth control, much less sex at that age? My children are out of high school, but there certainly would be H___ to pay if I ever found out that anyone, ANYONE was supplying my girls with drugs of ANY kind!!

I am enjoying your show (and the team) but tiring of the constant focus on our California fire, so more than glad to see you switch to other news in the Nation and World. My wife and I live in the Central California foothills, so it has taken a few days and the right conditions to actually see an impact from the smoke here in my area. Rain predicted here on Monday with clearing conditions. Hopefully they will get some of that in Southern California.

One confession: I switch to that “other” news program that has a Headline news format sometimes……. there…. I feel better…. they say confession is good for the soul.
